went for breakfast once and it was wonderful the second time was horrible, hasn't been a third time...

friday night and the service wasn't right. went in this past friday night for dessert and we were a little surprised that we weren't immediately greeted as this is usually the case. it took us about 5 minutes before some one came to seat us, and usually this wouldn't be an issue. however, once we were seated and were brought our water this was the last interaction with any kind of staff that we had. we sat for 20 minutes waiting for a waiter to greet us and absolutely no one stopped by our table, not even to say that they'd be with us shortly. my husband waived his hands at one waiter who came near our table, but it was painfully obvious that the waiter was deliberately avoiding eye contact as he passed right beside our table. since we couldn't get anyone's attention (the restaurant was not that busy and there seemed to be plenty of staff) we decided to leave. we were a bit appalled that this was our experience as we've never had a problem with service at eclectic before. all this pregnant lady wanted was one of thier delicious milkshakes.

i'd like to like it. i would really like to like this cafe since its has a nice atmosphere and seems a friendly place. our waiter the other night was very friendly but got our order somewhat wrong. we intended to split a sandwich and each ordered salad as a side. the waiter brought two wraps and didn't ask for salad dressing but brought us some. the food was okay without being outstanding.

my friend who lives in the area said it was usual for the staff to get items slightly wrong so not sure if i'd go out of my way to visit this spot.

not good. the 3 of us sat on the patio. it took 20 mi urges just to get water and another 15 to place our order. all in all, it took an hour to get our food, and another 20 minutes to get our check. the diablo wrap wasnt that good. also, since my dish was very spicy, i asked for more water, it took a long time, just go get a glass of water. we were never asked if we wanted any kind of drink other than water and we came for the ice cream sundaes, but we felt as though we would be there tilll dinnertime, we were very, very disappointed in the service. also, i was told by the manager that there were 4 people doing nothing, so sitting on the patio would be great.

best breakfast ever! stuffed french toast is great and the creme brulatte is amazing! great atmosphere and staff are very nice. love love love cafe eclectic!!!

try the black bean soup, super tasty! my girls loved the wraps and the kids grilled cheese was yummy. will definitely go back. the vegan blueberry pie was amazing....none better.

fake panini. ordered 2 paninis. the bread was lightly grilled on the grill and then the cold sandwich ingredients were simply placed on the bread and served. cheese not melted and all ingredients cold!!

poor service, improperly prepared food, out of 3 items tequested (out of 3!).
brinch...crisp bacon, poached eggs & toadt (a real challenge!). 2 strips of bacon...black & greasy. ordered an extra side of crisp bacon that finally arrived after everything else had already been eaten...also black & greasy. medium poached eggs were hard boiled. toast forgotten, finally arrived after eggs cooled or eaten. need i say more?
this was the second tome i went there. first try eas lunch, and i wad underwhelmed with the avacado blt, but thought i'd give them a second chance.
first time their failt, second time my fault...there won't be a third time!
steer clear of this place!

wow! can't believe it took us so long to try this place! the menu is very eclectic, and we had a hard time deciding what to order. i don't think we could have gone wrong with anything. the ingredients were very fresh and the entrees were perfectly cooked. we will be back to try other dishes, but my meal will always end with the blueberry and lemon scone!

disappointed. went sat around 11 am. seating was quick even though the restaurant was crowded. ordered but then had to wait about 35 minuets for the meals. sausage gravy was cold, re-ordered. should be better.

great little artsy place in midtown. loved everything i ordered (the hot chocolate was devine) and will definitely return. great place for sitting solo & working with a laptop, going for a date, or having a group get-together.

big fan of the warm brie and pear sandwich!! it's so perfect. definitely recommend!

some "must try" items. i've been coming to cafe eclectic for a few weeks now as my go-to coffee shop. while i haven't really eaten lunch or dinner here, besides an amazingly satisfying patty melt that was light on the buttery grease and heavy on delicious flavor, i've sampled many of their bakery items. what i am amazed at is how usually simple items come out having a little something extra that just make my eyes roll into the back of my head.
for example, the glazed donut - it surpasses anything i've eaten elsewhere. it has a slightly crisp exterior that reveals an almost funnel cake interior. love.
another must try is the cheddar bacon biscuit. ask them to grill it for you and you will wish you had a basketful.

i was very impressed with the food choices and the servers knowledge of the establishment. very friendly staff and patrons a plus for me and my wife.

i really love this place when i get a good waiter. i've learned not to go during lunch and expect to leave within forty five minutes to an hour.
