went in on a monday morning around mid day, was offered a place in some discreet corner where there was one seat and one foot stool despite empty seats. then no one came for the next 15 minutes while they were just in front of us, engaging the other tourists read white folk. we walked off post that, in hindsight great decision - quantities looked really tiny for the price and garbage service.

such a bad place...none of the good was tasty but also overpriced. i dont know why google recommended.i would ever visit or eat from here again

the service was not good, we had to wait for like half n hour for our food and the food was not hot when served..also the dishes were not tasty

chic cafe with a painfully long wait time. including a proper waiting area can go a really long way.

pathetic food and pathetic service,rude and unapologetic manager.
we were 7 seven people including 2 senior citizens and a 2 year old kid,they gave us seat in open sun in 45°c temp instead of inside,seat was available, instead they gave 7 seat table to 3 young girls.
when asked about it,they tried to make excuses. food is also not good,most of the things are unavailable, don't know why there is so much hype.
when asked to remove service charge which is legally voluntary, they denied and behaved like gundas.

the seating space was uncomfortable and sandwich and coffees ordered were inedible. long waiting hours and bad food. please do not waste your time in search of ambiance. very bad experience.

we got here at 8:30 am. stood in the queue for 45 mins and were let in at 9:15. the food took 40 mins to arrive in batches and we sent most of it back to be fixed somehow. please don’t waste your time here. the staff is arrogant and don’t care if you have a bad experience or for your business. i wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

a nice cozy café in the bustling white town! i loved the ambience and the courteous service of the staff. an exhaustive menu of items too. i loved the chocolate almond coconut cake! the price was also very reasonable for the quality. a must visit for anybody who’s in pondicherry!

very rude staff especially one lady there . food was just average . we ordered waffles which was hard , sandwich and crepe was average , lassi was too watery . definitely an overhyped place .

drinks were not up to mark. they offer brown sugar which does not mix well in cold drinks. food was good.

the lady who was managing everything here was really sweet and got us a table in 8-10 mins at the time of rush. the ambience is good but the food was not up to the mark. it is overhyped just because of the ambience. the refreshments were ok. the bread of tartines and pizza were little hard and chewy.

sandwiches, juices, crepes and most of all bacon!! i think this was my best meal at pondicherry. a ricotta overload for sure, the food was delicious. i tried the -
• chicken croquet
• tomato tarrine
• salted crepe ham and cheese
• bacon
• orange juice, mint and lemon juice
everything was fresh, tender and delicious. the juices were a little disappointing. more water than fruit.
a good meal overall.

one of the most famous cafes in pondicherry.
must visit for all the folks traveling to pondicherry for the first time
