café b-you - hotel radisson blu

radisson blu has a beautiful and majestic entrance. i have been here a couple of times. the starters are quite interesting with a wide range of salads. though main course couldn't fascinate much. its quite like the usual one. the desserts truly were goid enough. overall it was a good experience and the staff were good

been there couple of times. the hotel being the only one of its class in the whole north east definitely is a worth visit. the peace and calmness calls for more happenings and the cafe is a delightful treat. the dinner spread is just awesome with a perfect mix of all palete, n i just the indian food...just wow!!

a relaxed drink specially in the courtyard , right next to the cafe, is just a perfect start.

great place to be at..take couple of hours in hand and hit this place for a great experience..variety of dishes to tickle your taste buds..specially the labanese and the dessert section..
only turnoff was that they have only 4 items in starters, also the staffs weren't upto the mark of 5 starred hotel.

absolutely a 5 star experience in my first visit to this restaurant... opted for the non veg dinner buffet...

everything was right about it but the chicken served in the starters was below average quality with chicken bones all over the place and hardly any meat left in those pieces....

only reason i did not rate it 5 because the repitition did not come naturally to those who were serving us... we had to suggest them to make some veg starters for us too...

otherwise this buffet is great with so many items covered in main course and deserts including chaats and various types of salads....

surely a great buffet at 1000 bucks...

refreshing buffet, was very happy to see the local flavour of north east merged in the buffet here. this was my 2nd visit to the hotel, highly recommended for a comfortable stay and meals at guwahati.

had our couple dinner date at cafe b you. loved everything about it, the food, the ambience, the hospitality loved. special thanks to dibyendu and bikash saharia.

the ambience was super cool and cozy. the staff was friendly. i had the buffet which costed me around 2500 because it was new year's eve. the buffet menu had a hell lot of options and desserts were listless. though it had variety but the taste was average. i liked the decor and lighting. the taste of the food could've been better.

the hospitality and staff is always great at any radisson blu hotel, but what was really disappointing was the food here. we ordered for some noodles and paneer sauce. both were tasteless.

went with high hopes, came out disappointed. sorry guys! but you need to up your game.

love their desserts and salad. they’ve amazing range of salads! starters and main course was a bit disappointing but rest of the food stole the show. they’ve amazing dish fingers and pani-puri as well. but then again, hands down to mouth watering salad range.

very nice place to dine with your families and friends. .excellent service, the food was awesome, i really enjoyed the wide spread buffet..one of the best place on guwahati to dine.

guwahati's 1st 5 star hotel was on my card for a review. i am writing this review after my 3rd visit to the braggers domicile. walking into the hotel might give you goosebumps, seeing the elegance and the security elements but soon after it merges up with its the shoddy, tawdry hospitality. this world class chain of hotel doesn't actually live up to its name in terms of service and hospitality (specifically in guwahati). the hospitality quotient was missing and it was there in all my 3 visits. the waiters don't pay you enough attention (you would fell that you no longer exist to them), you have to wait for 10 mins to get your water refilled, staffs don't bother to guide you through the menu are some of the things you might encounter on your visit to the epitome of tawdry hospitality. 

                                   the food actually lacked the right essence to please my taste buds. moreover barbecue nation is triumphant in terms of maintaining the equilibrium of hospitality and food quality. being a 5 star, the food quality and the service should match up to your expectations, which sadly doesn't. you only get the ostentatious ambiance to your plate which sadly doesn't fill you stomach. on my 1st visit i opted for the buffet which costs around rs 878 (for dinner inclusive of tax). yes,  you do get some varieties in salad section, such as salamis, scissor salad etc. the main course also had some innovative inclusions such as baked chicken, fish in oyster sauce, but the wow!! factor was missing. the food is actually not that bad but definitely not the standards of bragging about.

the buffet would cost you rs 878 (inclusive of all tax) mon - sat (dinner or lunch) which was way cheaper than i expected. but only on sundays they will charge you rs 1268 (inclusive of tax) as there would be unlimited mock tail available.

food quality - 6/10

hospitality - 1/10

value for money - 5/10

ambiance - 8/10

bragging and swagging - ****free****

p.s - some hospitality refinements along with food quality management would get this place up to the standards of a 5 star.another visit - perhaps.

ambiance 5/5 .. perfect ambience both indoor and outdoor seating arrangements are just perfect.. seats/ seating arrangement everything is great!.
service : 3.5/5 .. well its not the waiters fault, they are very few in no. its the managements fault, still they try do to their best to serve,they are well mannered,humble.
food: 4/5 .. had their breakfst buffet which was the best breakfast i had till now anywhere.. it was just perfect.. so many options are available for both veg. and non veg. it was so full filling.. also tried their dinner buffet which again was great.. with wide variety of counters consisting from chat/phuska to a great salad counter.. they also tasty chinese starters and pakora, main course was also good and so was the dessert though few items werent as tasty.. still quite great and we came out with a happy stomach both times.

large open high ceiling restaurant just off the lobby. very well lit. the service is pleasant and courteous. the buffet spread is reasonable. the dessert spread is exceptional! the food preparation is just about ok. none of the dishes stood out.
