café b-you - hotel radisson blu

radisson blu : i visited this place yesterday for dinner at around 8pm. it felt nice to be there. i loved the ambience of the place.

talking about the dishes , it didn't match my excpectations. after being to many of the top restaurants in the city, this was my 1sttimeexperience in radisson. but it didn't go up to the mark.

starting with the starters , they had only 2 dishes for non-veg. this is very depressing for any non veg lover. veg items were in plenty but who wishes to pay rs 1414 just to eat vegetables and panner.

moving on to the main course, they provided us with steamed rice, pulao, biryani , roasted chicken, fish curry and a few fish items along with mutton curry it didn't appeal to me much as i am a chicken lover. and they lacked to have special chicken items.

desserts: this was somewhat better than the rest of the items. i liked their desserts. they had a plenty good varieties of items displayed there. and yes, the items were good enough to compensate for the disgraceful starters and main course. yet, i have seen a plenty more restaurants with awesome desserts .

in a nutshell, i loved the ambience of the place but not the food. the food was not as what i expected considering that fact that it is a part of a well built up 5 star hotel. being a foodie , i was quite disappointed with the non availability of non veg items. and those available didn't at all appeal to my taste.

if i am to consider only food and rate the restaurant, i would give a 2 star rating. but as it has a lovely ambience , i would give it a 3 star rating. but nothing more. as i am a foodie and i like to have good food !

perfect place for a fine dine buffet indeed its the best in town. the best dinner buffet and sunday brunches i had after a long time. the service is nice and mr himanshu is always helpful and he is a kind person. had a goodtimethe starters and main course was wow.

the best sunday brunch in town and had a amazingtime. the starters and desserts were really too good. the dinner brunch was also great . thanks to jeff navas for suggesting the sunday brunch. had a great time.

great buffets and it’s always a qualitytimevisiting this place. the buffet spread is vast and also you can try the various starters and main course from chicken to fish to mutton to pork and also loved the desserts which is also very vast . also the sunday brunch is the best in town .

the food is good. i'd have rate the food 2 out of 3, but i'm not really pleased with their service. the waiters are quite friendly which is nice but it takes around 45 mins to wait for each order to be placed on your table from thetimewhen it's ordered. this is really slow andtimeconsuming. i tried à la carte as well as buffet. to my surprise, the buffet isn't as remarkable as it should be. i didn't like most of the time. however, the à la carte orders( steamed salmon with orange juice squeezed over it and fish fingers)were delicious apart from thetimeconsuming factor.

amazing food amazing buffets. had a nicetimethe buffet spread is really vast and is something you will enjoy after a long day's end. also the sunday brunch is a must try its the best in town.

its very disheartening to give a low rating to such a high class place who recruits the best of the staff.
recently we went for the buffet and i accept that we were a bit late but that doesn't mean you will tell us to hurry up ,so that you can pack up things. i know you guys are very punctual,so maybe you should stop accepting customers before hand so that you can pack up intimeinstead of making me and my guest feel unwelcome.
we asked for another round of starters but was never brought that.
the concerned department should really look into this matter because i find other buffet services in the city so much better.
the dishes were okay as they are made keeping in mind the international standards ,so some people may find it bland. there aren't much options in the main course for non veg,though.

beeaaaaauuutifulllllll... truly it feels exotic. the food is too good. the service and the servers are too good..thank you radisson blu guwahati for treating so well.its always been a amazing experience to visit the restro and taste the tasty inventions of food ...ambience is really good. .spacious too. must visit place.you will never feel bad after having their awesome and delicious food.. spend thetimetheir with someone special!!

it is my immense pleasure to state that, radisson blu holds one of the finest standards of an excellent service providing hotel in guwahati. on an average, even if we crib about food or surrounding, it is the hospitality which we as individuals never forget. i thank each of the staff members and the heads and incharge who took keen interest in making my celebratory moments one of a lifetime. my parents were taken a lot of care in all aspects during thetimeof their visit to radisson.❤😇👍. this hotel not only have great taste in their choice of menu - elaborate buffet, but also a lovely warm staff and great atmosphere to give u the most amazing relaxation time..above all... ❤😇😚😘.

⏺️ location - easy and good. i have visited this place twice, once daytimeand the othertimeat night. at night, with the lights and decor, we had an eye popping experience. of course for lunching too had a goodtimeby the poolside!
⏺️food - well, here people often prefer the buffet, we had the chicken clear soup with coriander, light and healthy to start with. starters were quite ok, they got a huge spread of buffet i must say, though the best part was the - dessert! gosh! i would skip the maincourse for the dessert, they got almost 5types of cakes - carrot cakes were amazing, there were coffee cake, mango delight and wat not. the watermelon smoothie was another amaze, oh the mud pie, foodgasm i would say. the dessert list would have no ending. though the non-veg starters i wud have loved if they would have included some for dishes.
⏺️service- very generous, quick and humble!
⏺️decor - spacious and awesome.
⏺️value for money- well the dinner buffet is reasonable i guess with that huge spread.
⏺️overall - 3.8 points i would give.

the worst possible service and pathetic food. i think the staff is so used to the buffet system that they have no clue of how to serve a la carte. we waited for a longtimefor our food and when it came, it was cold. the staff is completely disoriented and do not know what needs to be done. despite the fact that the place was overcrowded with stewards, everybody was merely running around here and there without any purpose merely creating a ruckus. there are a lot of better places which serves better food and serve you well. don't waste yourtimeand money here.

as a child, 5 star hotels were an imagination and reality was when these big names came up.café b-you shall receive the basic merit points for the undoubtedly classy ambience it offers.with a wide range of menu the buffet offers,it's worth the price you pay.the greatest part is the variation in their menu.everytimeyou go there,you shall find an entirely different set of dishes and desserts.though not a frequent visitor,yet this place has never disappointed me any time.to those foodies out there,you're sure to return with a fulfilling tummy and once you're home,the desserts shall definitely get your minds occupied.😜

bad service! bad food! i went there with a lot of expectation, i mean it, a lot! got nothing as expected. the table offered to us was dirty, with someone's half drunken coffee cup already lying there. the waiters kept looking at us but nobody came to serve us till we called for them. again, they came to us with no menus. after orders being placed, first of all they took hell lot oftimeto bring the mere order of 2 cappuccinos, a plate of ham sandwich and a pastry, and secondly, after everything they brought it all wrong(brown bread instead of being asked for white, 1 cappuccino instead of 2).
i expected it to be overpriced but it went all sour to pay this much for this kind of a service.
sorry, not sorry.
never going back!
