staying at one of the best hotels in northeast india, it is natural that it is home to some fine dining as well.  i usually have breakfast here.  it has a good spread of both indian and western breakfast food.  the service is attentive without being intrusive.  i continue to return on my trips to assam.

went for lunch on republic day.opted for the buffet .it was seemly ok.the fish in black bean sauce tasted funny.dismissed the thought with the notion that nobody else was complaining.by the time i reached home..i was feeling horrible.i had a couple of digestive tablets but to no avail.woke up to have a bout of dysentery.went 4 times .after that i was weak n nauseous. then at around 2pm(on the 27th) , i was racked with shivering and a fever of 99.4f.food poisoning was the doctors diagnosis.
from eating a mediocre buffet at a 5🌟restaurant?
diners beware.the kitchen of this " prestigious " 5🌟hotel needs to be checked by the health department regularly.had to give it a one star rating to qualify as a review....please read the 1🌟rating by me as minus 5 🌟

one of the best hotels to stay at and eat in guwahati city. a lavish place with pretty interior design. it offers a wide range of a la carte selections for breakfast, lunch and dinner. the staff is very friendly and courteous and the chef is always happy to make personalised dishes (local and continental) even though the restaurant provides an exhaustive buffet to chose from.
the bakery has delicious cakes and pastries. the choco praline pastries are to die for!

i've been here thrice so far-twice for the buffet- lunch & dinner and once for an à la carte dinner.the food was good on two occasions but the dinner buffet was appalling..food quality was poor, presentation was below par and lacked essential accompaniments like pickle.decor wise,it is very appealing and the service staff are extremely nice and helpful.it could be the best restaurant in guwahati if and only if it maintained consistency in the quality of food.cheers!

you get the 'radisson experience' right after exiting the nh 37. the entire complex has been impeccably designed and constructed to give off the feelings of serene and elegance. lightly illuminated pathways lead up to the hotel entrance where complementary valet await. the foyer is massive and awe-striking, as is the interior of the restaurant café b-you.

we opted for the buffet as it was hard to decide from la carte when you have a joint family dining. the starters comprised of two chicken and two vegetarian selections, with the former two outdoing the latter two by a wide margin. apart from that, there were a few cold appetisers of chicken, fish and egg, all being average in taste. the main course choices were rather limited according to me, although mostly fine as far as taste was considered.

the dessert options were elaborate and diverse, ranging from classic chocolate ice cream to flavoured cheese cakes. even popular home delicacies like curd, 'gajer' (carrot) ka halwa and gulab ja-moon were on offer, presented rather nicely. all in all, i was happy with the options.

my response on the food is mostly mixed. there were some good dishes but nothing out of the world. i was particularly dissatisfied with the available options in starters and main course, while some of them (like the chicken salami) leave a lot to be desired. i believe that the case of 'looks better than tastes' was at play. however, my time there was significantly enhanced by the ambience and beauty of the restaurant as well as the entire hotel.

well, after being heard of it for such a long time, i finally decided to land on it, for the sunday brunch. to begin with, i loved the hotel as soon as i entered the gates. being from an architecture field, i could not help but notice how perfectly they have created the visual as well as noise barrier. it is almost impossible to figure out what's happening outside the hotel complex while we are on the ground level. and the sound of waterfall is truly soothing to the ears.

moving in, the interior is beautifully done. they have a very friendly and hospitable staff. and the ambience is great too. we had a reservation, so we were immediately taken to our table. as it was sunday, so we opted for the sunday brunch.

it started with the soup, as usual. it was a clear chicken and corn soup, which tasted good. for the starters, they served pudina chicken, pakoda and baby corn. and from the assorted menu, they had grilled fish, barbeque chicken and lamb chops. i, being a hard core lover of appetizers, could remember all the dishes quite well. and, since they were so yummily made, i had to go for the second helping, without a doubt.

i also loved the variety of salads they served. though i cannot remember the names of them all, they had them all - vegetable, fruits, chicken, fish and egg. personally, i loved all the non-veg salad options they had. i almost had one full plate of salads and they were great.

the main course was nice, though i wish they had other options too, may be some other cuisine, other than indian and chinese. i liked the chicken biryani the most and the vegetable pulao. also, they had a lot of options on both the vegetarian and the non-vegetarian menu. so, that, i believe is, great. they also had noodles from the chinese menu, but, unfortunately, i was too full to try them. i have saved it for the next time.

moving on to the last course of the meal, the desserts. i totally fell in love with the english pudding. it was warm and so perfectly prepared, soft and moist - i will totally recommend to not miss out on this. this is my favorite of all. but, they had many number of options from the dessert menu as well. and am sure, everyone will have their own favorites.

finally, the service was up to the mark. they made sure the guests are comfortable and are well attended to, and catered to all their queries and requests.

i would rate it 4/5, overall.

i am looking forward for more visits :) .

i was a little disappointed by the food menu of this place. the main menu does not provide any varieties in cuisines. but i love the desserts here. i hope they will try to improve their main food menu and add many more cuisines and a variety of dishes in it.

1. café b-you - all day dining: a very warm and cosy place to spend the day with family and friends while enjoying a wide range of ala carte selections for breakfast, lunch and dinner. the restaurant also offers a huge range of options of an exhaustive buffet to chose.

radisson blu guwahati! after going through all the happy and disappointing reviews on zomato we wanted to give it a try. the photographs looked pretty good. we went during lunch hours. the ambience was good to be honest. the entire buffet looked good with all the "n" number of salads and dressings. we had soup which was okay. then the starters came in and like a hungry hosteller i was asking for more and more starters and it was so disappointing that they had only one item for veg and non veg. chicken tikka and some potato dish. again i was asking if they had more items but that was all they had for starters. i won't complain about the taste, its the usual taste you get everywhere nothing extraordinary. their main course was also okay! chicken and veg biryani, creamy chicken, mexican veggie, dal, paneer, chilli fish, malabari fish! all the items were served cold. all of them except the naan. their desserts were not bad but most of them got over including the main course. i only had the experience of reading the name of the items. they were not even refilling them. rate - 4.2/10. it gives me no pleasure to crib like this but i expected so much more. i have had much better buffet experiences. i would suggest you to call them up and ask their menu once for that particular day. the pictures look really good here but it was a disappointment for me.

i would say its not one of the best places to have a buffet. salads, main course and deserts were good. but there were only two options for vegetarians for starters that too not great. also, the service was extremely slow and bad as i had to ask for same things multiple times.

landed up here with my family 4 a sunday brunch.....a really nice ambience 2 start with.
v were seated comfortably and was serviced by a realy welcoming staff.
2 start with...v had chicken soup which was not upto the mark but was then compensated by the starter platter....which had chicken sausage, mutton fry, fish grilled....all of them were really yummy....v were also served with complementary drinks....4 different flavours for 4 person, all of them were good!
then v had buffet s our main course....there was mutton biriyani which was nice...rice...mutton fry....noodles..manchurian n many others which keeps changing on day basis......
there was this extra counter 4 apple crumble which u really need 2 go for...its awesome!
4 desserts there was unlimited variety...sweets...mousse..cake...icecream...cut fruits....halwa...but the best was choco mud pie...u cant just have enough of it! it was utterly delicious n the best! :)
so u can visit this place sometime n grab a piece of ultimate food satisfaction ;)
