great place!. the food is fantastic and the presentation is wonderful! most of all, the prices are verygoodfor everything that you get!

the service was verygoodwith very friendly staff. the atmosphere is very nice, especially for being in the village!

perhaps it will be a new regular venue for me :)

dont go for brunch. while the appetizer of fresh fruit and chocolate fondue was really good, the brunch was absolutely disgusting.
i understand the place specializes in chocolate but my bf and i were in the mood for a savory brunch and they have an extensive menu of such options.
i got the bacon nested eggs with potatoes and salad (12$) and he got the 13$ "lazy breakfast". the potatoes on both our plates were mccain frozen "spicy" fries i used to eat for a snack after high school. neither plate had anything warm on it except the eggs on mine, and my bf's assortment of meat was a cold piece of ham, a hot dog cut in half (literally) that was half cooked and which was posing as breakfast sausage, some cold bacon. it was also apparent that his eggs had been cooked in the microwave. the salad i was served was drenched in a white, jelly like substance, as you can imagine, not appetizing.
for 15 dollars each, this was by far the worst breakfast we have ever had in downtown montreal.

i went with a friend about a year ago and had a cheddar and spinach omelette which was really quite delicious and came with oven baked fries. i don't know what has happened since, but the meals we were served this morning were truly atrocious.
if chocolate based deserts is all they can pull off, they should really** take away the rest of the options from their menu!

charming. went for late brunch (1pm on saturday) with my friend, and even though the place was packed service was friendly and fast, we got seated within 5 minutes, and our orders were taken within 10. getting our food took a bit longer but we were kept busy with our reallygood(!) americanos and tester platters of fresh fruit and chocolate fondue. both of us got the mushroom omelette brunch plate which came with country style whole grain toast, roast potatoes and fruit. my only negative comment was that the onions were sliced too big in my omelette and the potatoes weren;t warm enough but despite these two things everything on my plate was truly delicious. the portions are pretty big and filling, the espresso isgoodand the ambiance lovely. neither too big or too small, the place is both cozy and busy enough to not worry about the freshness of the ingredients. the service was really polite and i was very pleased when they asked us if we wanted a second coffee after we had finished our breakfast instead of politely trying to chase us from our table even thought there was a lineup at the door. very curteous and the brunch and americano were well worth the 15$. would definitely go again!

skip the savoury breakfast options.gooddessert, cute place. but really mediocre savoury breakfasts. stick to the sweet stuff! their hot chocolates are next-level.

last night i tried the black sesame hot chocolate and it was delicious. hot chocolate with a savoury twist!
they have an incredible variety of desserts and drinks to choose from, and the service has beengoodevery time i've gone.

one of the best places for a dessert-fix. it is so conveniently located in downtown montreal, not to mention the cozy decor. they have some hearty brunch options too. but i like their desserts a bit more.

i have tried their 'make your own parfait' and it was ...perfect!

sometimes it can get a little crowded and it kind of negatively impacts the dining experience by ruining the atmosphere. but overall, it's agoodplace.

bad service,goodchocolate. we waited 20 minutes for a table since we had a party of 3 and the tables where saved for parties of 2 or 4 (these tables never filled up the entire time we where there!). we complained about this, but in this case the possibility of making more money was what they wanted overgoodservice. we had to return 2 hot chocolates since they where cold. not agoodexperience and quite pricey.

not worth it. i've been to this place twice, well, the second time we had to leave the place without getting served since our server seemed like he forgot we existed. he was too busy rearranging the knives and forks at the counter... it was weird. the food is overly priced for what it is, you have to pay minimum $11 for mediocre food.
for me, this place is pretty much a copycat of juliette et chocolat where you get better food for much cheaper prices. there's another strange thing i noticed about this place, the kitchen staffs are 100% chinese and the servers are 100% white, and it seemed like there's almost zero contact between the two groups. i think that it is kind of important to havegoodcommunication between the kitchen and servers to create agoodatmosphere in the restaurant and this place lacked it completely. i don't think i'll go back there anytime soon.

so much chocolate. quiet big portions, and many options to chose from. sometimes long lines. deserts taste verygoodbut one time a chicken crepe i ordered was sweet as well. stick with deserts and you'll be happy. they don't like people to sit when they're done if they're not ordering. despite all, verygoodfondue, verygoodhot chocolates.

such an amazing restaurant!!!. i had heardgoodthings about this place and decided to go check it out with some friends. this place deserves everygoodreview and more!!!! so delicious, great vibe, and a super helpful and knowledgable staff. our server was really patient and helped us choose our items, as we were really indecisive. his recommendations were perfect. i can't wait to go back again! so.....much....chocolate!!!!

verygoodservice.. the service was amazing. they really went beyond to make sure our breakfast was good. my waffle was a little bit burnt on one quart and the waitress brought me another one before i could say anything. this is just one of the little things they did to make our breakfast better.

they are perfect! everything i was hoping for! crunchy enough in the exterior but soft in the interior! you might want put the waffles aside to prevent the ice cream softens the waffle’s texture! i would say these waffles are just asgoodas breakfast club’s!

sweeeeeeets!. so having heard this restaurant being raved on and on, i decided to hop right into it for a late afternoon lunch or supper early supper. i have to admit i hesitated on whether or not a dessert place could replace a meal. but boy was i wrong!

we ordered the salty rosbif crepe to share for two people right off the bat. the crepe itself was soft and warm but quite bland and mushy with the savory filling of mushrooms, cheese and roast beef. crepe like this would be perfect for sweets though! with the light salad, it was already filling up our stomachs!

then we ordered a black and white fondue for two. chocolate always tastesgoodwhether melted or solid, seriously. we chose this combination due to my love of black chocolate and my friend's obsession of white chocolate. though, it slightly disappointed me since the fondue came with both chocolates all swirled up instead of being separated. basically, we got ourselves a fondue of ordinary milk chocolate instead of black and white. the waffles were ah-mazing-ly soft and yummy. the brownie-ish bites were too sweet for a fondue and they give you fruits like it costs no bucks. definitely a first time in my life i have ever eaten so much fruit within a short period of time. suprisingly fell in love with the combination of pineapple and chocolate! who would have thought!

will definitely go back for other sweets choices!
