[burnt hair in your big breakfast] 🤮
too disgusted to even write my full review. was going to discuss wholesale croissants and decided to firstly taste theirbreakfastmenu.

we ordered a bigbreakfastto share, after few bites my chorizo had a burnt black hair attached to it that was curly and thick. told the waitress and she took the plate away and said nothing. one of the waiter came back with the plate without the chorizo with the burnt hair.... he told us its because of the root of the mushroom cause they don’t wash it? !!! bit confused with his explanation. we decided to leave and ask them we don’t need a replacement.

no apology but just useless explanations. paid and left with nothing in our stomach.

if you want some delicious bread and pastries this is the place to go. you can also dine in for brunch their normalbreakfastmenu is alright however, it’s really the bakery goods that are best. they also make really good coffee!

it was terribly busy at this artisan bakery, super popular on a saturday for breakfast. i managed to get a table quickly and scoffed down thebreakfastplate (soft boiled egg, tomato, avocado, sliced tilsit cheese and toast) before my next appointment. they serve the toast with pepesaya butter (yum!) and coffee is by allpress. will like to go back again when i'm in a less rush.

joanne and i hadbreakfastat this bakery on a sunday morning when the cafe was still relatively quiet. the cafe has a counter service, so you'll have to go the till when you're ready to order. we tried the ham and cheese croissant, and the smoked trout with feta and poached eggs on sourdough. both dishes were really tasty and we were satisfied. the counter at the front displayed a variety of pastries and baked goods which looks so enticing. we end up getting the olive and rosemary loaf to takeaway; the olive and rosemary flavours compliments so well together.
😍🍞 i'll be sure to pop by again to try the pastries and the different breads when i visit sydney again.

brasserie bread promises a lot with its trendy cafe set amongst its artesian bread factory. but that is where the promise ends, once inside you are sitting with the cafe late set whom have driven from the upper eastern suburbs and lower north shore to be seen here, thebreakfastmenu talks of pier saya butter and chuckalucka seasoning for a south african inspired breakfast. it all sounds so hi end until god forbid you ask for some chilli sauce to have with your fancy named bacon and eggs, you are told there is no chilli sauce nor wistershire sauce, however you can have (in a quick change of accent) tomarrrrrto or barrrrrby que,
food was only average and no better than the cheap thia cafe just down the road.
nothing to see here except the huge price tag attached to your breakfast

a bakery production site and cafe in botany bay that has a large space to eat in, bread you can buy to go or watch it the bakers in action. coffee was campos and they sell beans too. the menu has lots of meals
for breakfast, brunch or lunch and offer lots of bread choices; white, wholemeal, rye, multigrain etc.. you can get sandwiches, pancakes, salads and more. i got a europeanbreakfast(or so i called it). a warm soft boiled egg, tomato, cheese and toast. it comes with pepe la saya butter too. nice. prices there are reasonable. i got an espresso and a macchiato which were fine. service was good.

brasserie bread is truly down to earth. no elaborate furnishings or fancy menus. there's a giant chalkboard menu on the wall calling out as you enter.

we ordered the lamb shoulder hash and the smoked chicken on sourdough. unconventional as it may be for abreakfastitem, the lamb was certainly a winner. it was tender, rich and accompanied with perfectly roasted and flavourful root vegetables and spinach. the smoked chicken was slightly misleading as i was actually expecting smoked chicken pieces but it turned out to be a very basic chicken roll sandwich. it was well done but ordinary. both dishes were served with freshly baked sourdough. i also really liked the butter they use (pepe saya butter), which was fabulously rich.

couldn't leave without buying a pain au chocolat and a chocolate almond croissant for tea and they were top notch. perfectly crisp on the outside, fluffy interiors and a good amount of filling. what surprised me the most was my coffee! it is hands down the best cappucino i have had in this neck of the woods. i was wondering why it took a while for my coffee to arrive but well worth it for a well brewed cup of coffee. good job barrista!

really excited to discover this little hidden gem tucked away in an industrial warehouse close to my suburb. there are so many more pastries that look absolutely decadent such as the lemon tart and the caramel tart. can't wait to get my hands on them!

morning ragu. came back here after a long break away and pretty much had exactly the same dish - the mountain bread with ragu di manzo - ie veal and pork stew with parmesan. not your typicalbreakfastbut it's done the job and tasted great. didn't buy any of the other assorted baked goods or bread. it's a very busy place - pretty much on opening on the weekends people stream in from all corners.

the boy ordered the crispy bacon with poached egg, avocado and tomato on wholemeal toast...brasserie bread toast of course ($12.00). he was pretty happy with his brunch however was a bit disappointed that the egg wasn't soft and runny. i went for the quinoa and soya bread with avocado, tomato and goat curd ($11.00). this was a really simplebreakfastand a perfect example of how to whip up the perfect brunch at home (i've got three loaves of brasserie bread to experiment with after all).

family-orientedbreakfastjoint - love the pancakes!. my fave pancakes in sydney are from here - they're sourdough pancakes with a chewy texture and slightly sour taste -- love it how its not as filling or sweet like the usual pancakes you get at most other places.
the pork shoulder and hash was fantastic too. friendly waiters and a buzzing eatery.
the only thing i didn't really like were there were too many kids and prams around and the fact you had to order at the counter that slightly detracted away from the cafe experience you'd normally find at weekend brekky places in the inner west.
....still, top-quality food overall!

the cafe adjoining the wholesale bakery in banksmeadow does a roaring weekendbreakfastand brunch trade, while the dedicated baking school, opened in september 2008, has seen its fair share of kids graduating through the free saturday kids’ baking classes.

this place is making plenty of dough. and for great reason. it's a great haven from the hustle and bustle of nearby transport.
specialising in fabulous assortment of home-style breads, retailed at the immediate front of house, there is also an appealing restaurant .
i met here for abreakfastmeeting. both of us chose the poached eggs, sheep feta and smoked salmon on toast. choice ingredients, perfect eggs and served well.
normally going beyond a regular sized coffee order is risky. however their large coffee was delicious and not at all diluted.
on the way out i was successfully enticed in buying 2 loaves for the family. nom nom.
all in all a great success story. keep it up.

it has been 7 yrs since i left living in sydney & brasserie bread was something i enjoyed all those years ago....although banksmeadow store/bakehouse was not open back then. it was just past 9am on a friday morning when my friend sam picked me up from the airport & suggested starting the day off withbreakfast@ brasserie breads.....it was completely delicious. i ordered the slow cooked lamb, potato & spinach hash w a fried egg - seriously i don't think i looked up whilst eating it! sam had the croque monsieur - ham w heidi gruyere & a fried egg. also delicious. the allpress coffee was also very good. i took some pics & wished i could take home all the breads available from the retail shop.....esp the garlic confit bread! in the retail shop they have two lines of preserves that caught my eye (no1) - lynwood preserves (i used to work for lynwood yrs ago + my husband & i got married @ lynwood) & (no2) - the jammery preserves great small business started by sam's bf claudia, excellent ran
