a simple authenticassamesecuisine restaurant with traditional touch in it. the food is tasty and it reminds oneself of its traditional roots. even the items in the menu is remarkable. but the service is really slow and is not so special as one should except. even the sitting arrangement is not so special. and finally the plating, they seriously need to work on it, a few plating technique will really lead them to the chart. but still it's food that matters and to me, the food was really good and i really liked the bamboo shoot and would loved to visit again.

having landed in guwahati with a craving forassamesefood we went in here with high expectations. the restaurant did not fail to impress. we ordered three vegetarian thali and the chicken with sesame seeds. the three dals were just too good - very homely just as dals are supposed to be. i throughly enjoyed the mashed potatoes that were done in theassameseway. but the icing in the cake was the chicken wth sesame seeds. what flavour and aroma. mind blown! the staff was courteous and were disheartened yo see us not finish the chicken. we were disheartened ad well but with a full day of travel we just couldn’t stomach any more food. the portions thus are really good. overall - excellent food, well mannered staff, great portions and budget friendly makes this place a must visit forassamesefood

ok, firstly the positive points are good menu, good selection of ingredients, good taste, quantity of food is good, prices are quite reasonable! but negative points are poor service, takes a lot of time to serve, the place remains too crowded at lunch time, the place is not spacious, some times some items are not available.
anyways if u want to taste a typicalassamesethali, the place is perfect. you'll like the taste and quantity of food.

thisassamesedelicacy, maasor pitika, is one of my personal favourites with rice.

my tastebuds say- 4.5/5

this is only one yummilicious item from bhut jolokia's menu, they've got loads of others like chicken khorikaa (fire-roasted chicken), duck meat , veg-non veg thalis, etc. one of the best restaurants in #guwahati forassamesecuisine, and a must try for visitors wanting to taste local food in assam.

i ordered chicken thali ❤️ it was tasty 😊. if you are anassamesetraditional food lover then please go to bhut jolokia which is located at zoo road tinali..i’m totally satiesfied with the thaali ❤️loved it ❤️

i just love their thali. it feels like home cooked and quite hygienic. yesterday too i ordered a non veg thali. rest items were good but the pork curry was so spicy that i could not even taste half of it. taste wise bhut jolokia is best forassamesethali.

as the name suggests it serves you localassamesecuisine with essence of local herbs and spices. the ambience is good and the service is prompt. few years back, i use to visit this place a lot but recently i found the taste was too bland.

"bhut jolokia" loved the name of this restaurant. one of the best restaurants forassameseethnic dishes. the quality of the food will not disappoint you. we tried veg thali with "alu diya kukura mangkho" and "til diya gahori mangkho" (prok with sesame seeds). oh! the veg thali and the chicken was awesome. but need improvement in pork 😥.

i went to this place almost 3 years back, i still remember the fresh smell of the "assamese local chicken made with sesame". what a terrific taste it was. i just removed one rating because the staff were slow in responding. otherwise, it is an awesome place to experience authenticassamesecuisine. 3 years and i haven't forgotten the place, this speaks a lot.

the place is very simple just like home. simple but clean and tidy. traditional looks of chair and tables . the items are also equally elegant and tasty 😋. i like to visit one more time because of the food. if you wantassamesetraditional food the you should visit this place. that bhutjolokia aroma loved it.

it's generally anassamesecuisine serving restaurant. the price of the food is budget fit type. but their quality of food have become bad now. the service have also become bad. one of the staff member just misbehave with one of my friend at the time of bill payments during my last visit.
