first time dining at @balai_brunch_by_cafeplus. nice ambiance! great interiors! however, i found the lighting dim so you have to angle yourself to brighten up lol. anyway, 'bout thefoodi kindaf love the presentation, coz' it has this rustic-ish feels with the plate and all but the taste? yes! it just tastes like an ordinary shawarma rice, yet the sauce made it a notch higher. needless to say, it was a fancy resto but it has an accomodating and friendly staff and since i was with good and fun company it rather compensated with the so so tastingfoodwe have to munch on. nevertheless, still a thumbs up!

this restaurants makes you feel relax, because of the design like also a regular house but it was totally beautiful restaurants. last time my friends and i lunch in here and i can say that theirfoodwas good, also their juice was delicious. you can try visit this restaurant.

food was good and worth it at its price. i really like the coffee here, too. ambience was really nice, good place to catch up.

however, we waited for almost two hours for ourfoodto be complete. one of my friends got irritated since when we first followed up for our order, we sensed that they have forgotten about it and told us to wait since the kitchen was busy. we waited for another hour for a salad and a breakfast plate. i think it would be wise if staff would actually write down the customer's orders instead of just memorizing it.

if not for the food, i would think twice on coming back here.

this is the best restaurant/cafe/chill place i've been to in cebu. the moment we stepped in, i already knew we were in the right place. the staff were courteous and friendly. thefoodwas great! i ordered balai plate and even though i liked it so much, i wasn't able to finish it due to the large serving. i also love their frappuccino! i ordered triple chocolate and it didn't disappoint. i especially liked that the sweetness was just right and how it complements the flavor of this drink. and since everyone loved it here, went for a second visit on our last day and i ordered bacon roll and black forest for my daily dose of coffee. as usual, i liked both and it gave me more reason to love this cafe. it's a true hidden gem at the heart of cebu city. now i'm never gonna miss an opportunity to visit here whenever i go to cebu. i just wish they would expand here in manila. i'd definitely be their first customer. kudos to the whole crew! keep up the good work!

brought my parents for brunch on a sunday. i love the ambience. it's cozy and homey. the service was also great. their brunch was amazing. i could eat breakfastfoodall day! the brewed coffee was good but i loved the chai latte! i will be back with some friends just to chill and hangout.

great place to chill.foodand coffee is quite decent and very reasonably priced. staff was also cheerful and friendly, and service was prompt. cozy place and lots of instagrammable corners, but happy to say that you don't come here just for the 'gram (i feel like this is a common plague to the localfoodscene; all looks, no substance) — they actually have good things to offer! we went for breakfast, so we didn't get to try the farooj chicken with its four sauces as it's apparently only available from 11 onwards, but suffice to say we had a pleasant enough experience that it was a unanimous thumbs up from the group — bumped all the way up to our brunch haunt favorites :)

i love the ambiance of this place and very authentic interior design it really feels like you are in your 'balai'. thefoodwere amazing, the staff were really nice and the coffee as well. overall it was a great experience.

love the ambience of the place. love their latte frappe coffee! staff were friendly.foodwere really good though it took some time when it was served. but it was understable since there were many people at that time. but all in all i would recommend this place if you want to hang out with your friends with cozy ambience.

good coffee, finefood& great ambiance for a date or in groups. i recommend the farook chicken & chicken skin coz it's tasty paired with curry rice & cumin fries. if you are not fond or first time eating curry rice, i suggest you mixed it with plain rice to mellow down the taste. hehehe.😁 dark mocha & luscious mocha is a must try.😋👌

such a good cafe!!! i just find this cafe so far. since i love breakfast foods, my boyfriend suggested this place and we went here for breakfast and thefooddid not disappoint me! it was indeed delicious! the drinks too!!! the staffs are so accommodating like they'll really help you for everything you need! it's a must try for everyone!

i get confused with this place. sometimes they can really impress, but sometimes i just feel like they are being lazy. at least it’s more of the former than the latter. cumin fries are good. crispy. salad is salad. not much there. i just love their pan seared salmon, which you should make sure to try. the pesto sauce on it is what made it a winner. was just disappointed one time when my cousin was served reheatedfoodthat wasnt even heated long enough though. so that was disappointing... steaks are ok. drinks are average. nice, fun ambiance. they even have a function room for around 10-15 people which you can reserve. overall good despite the occasional mishaps

if you want a quiet, instagram-worthy place where you can drink coffee, catch up with friends, and eat good food, you should try balai.foodservings are very generous, and their coffee is decent.

went there at 7am for breakfast. the ambience is very cozy, there’s a lot offoodchoices, and thefoodis delicious. not complaining, just an observation, their service isn’t very fast. i would recommend this place for breakfast dates!

it’s a place you’d like to just chill and talk with your friends or simply spend time with yourself. i don’t have a lot to say about thefoodmainly because i only had one meal. thefoodin the pictures are the only one’s we had and they were okay for me.
