i love theambianceof this place and very authentic interior design it really feels like you are in your 'balai'. the food were amazing, the staff were really nice and the coffee as well. overall it was a great experience.

+ savory chicken - its a unique taste for me not the common chicken dish flavor that you can eat comopared to the commercialized restaurants

* i'll leave one point for them to maintain their good service and an opportunity for them to still improve on areas i was unable to capture

good coffee, fine food & greatambiancefor a date or in groups. i recommend the farook chicken & chicken skin coz it's tasty paired with curry rice & cumin fries. if you are not fond or first time eating curry rice, i suggest you mixed it with plain rice to mellow down the taste. hehehe.😁 dark mocha & luscious mocha is a must try.😋👌

food andambianceis good. price is just right. however, service is disappointing. had to wait 50mins (initially said 30mins) for the roasted whole chicken. waited another good 20mins for a cumin fries (not worth the price, btw). had to ask for water every now and then even when waiter gets the empty water pitcher from our table. good thing we weren’t that super hungry.

food is generally good but probably needs improvement on the turn around time of orders as even coffee takes too long to be served.

staff was really accommodating. food was superb and not that expensive. the experience was great. this will be my fave coffee shop from now on. theambianceis purely perfect.

we often at times have this monotonous feeling when we go to the same restaurant over and over again. we often times try to find that niche to fill that void. balai is your not so typical restaurant, you might even consider it a "hole-in-the-wall" type of restaurant. basically not really known by the masses. they offer a very wide array of selections that is quite appealing to the taste buds and to the naked eye.

the food ⭐️⭐️⭐️ - the farooj chicken. literally means "little chicken" in the middle east, they cook it  in a rotisserie charcoal using an array of spices similar to that of its african counter part the peri-peri chicken. their spiced rice is also a very viable option but somewhat very overpowering if paired with the chicken. we also tried their version of salmon bagel, much to our surprise because of how it was presented it wasn't really that appealing in terms of taste.

the place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - the place just stands out because of how private and secluded it is. you tend to get that contemporary yet rustic vibe when you go inside the restaurant. if you plan on impressing a date or colleagues that you're sophisticated enough to appreciate goodambianceand ornamentation? they've got you.

the service ⭐️⭐️⭐️ - if i had to be really blunt? the service never really stood out. plenty of highs and lows during the lunch service which is common in the filipino food industry. consistency tends to never keep up with the vast majority of restaurants.

the value ⭐️⭐️⭐️ - i would have to admit they are a bit pricey if your taking to account the variety of selections you can order with just let's say a 1000 pesos. but overall the serving size is proportional enough to be deemed adequate.

the food is great especially the roasted chicken. you’ll never regret it. they even got this unlimited roasted chicken every tuesday. this is probably my go-to place to relax. in short, my favorite place 😍

food and coffee is great but the service is uhmmm not so worthy of another visit. the crew seems forgetful of everyone’s orders and requests (not just ours, but i hear other tables complaining as well). food came in very late, even a simple request for sugar takes 10 minutes. i hope they improve their customer service since theambianceand food was good.

the food is sumptous. they serve big portions. it is a value for money. theambianceis very good. the only thing that needs to be improved is the parking space.

the place has its indoor and outdoor seating with both nice and cozy design. a perfect place to chill and hang out with your boo, family and friends. theambiancethat makes you feel at home and a clean environment. and lets not forget a good customer service. all staff are very accommodating and very patient with us since we have a lot of questions.

quiet, greatambianceof spanish and filipino design, coffee has giant size which is great for coffee lovers such as me, and it has a semi-function hall for group meetings, desserts are delicious too, haven’t tried the food though 😁

such a great place to eat peacefully because it isn't crowded. their food is super delicious! (and they have reasonable prices too) theambiancemakes you feel at home. the service is good.

when we got in the cafe, we just fell in love with the place. it was 10am so they just opened. we ordered mocha frappe and caramel macchiato while waiting for lunch time. i am unusually clumsy today, i spilled my frappe and the staff was very kind to assist. i just asked too many questions yet he was too patient with me. drinks tasted good. and let's not forget about the chicken. well, it wasn't good. it was goooddd. 👌 for p429 we filled them bellies full. (burp!) i just love theambianceof this cafe. caffeine and protein in a place that feels exactly like home.

coffee tastes really good for a reasonable price.ambianceof the place is wonderful. you can either go here to chat with your friends, study for an exam or have a chill date with your partner. great place and friendly staff!
