atomic omelette and grill

not good. went there last saturday with my brothers from out of town, all of us had the atomic omelette plate (4). home fries were good, the omlettes not so much. was just scrambled eggs with little filling mixed in, topped with a bland hot sauce. forgot 2 biscuits and had to wait another 15 minutes for them. o and hot chocolate is a packet and you go get your own hot water to mix. service was lacking and food not worth goingbackfor. sorry i put my brothers through this.

in times of covid-19, cash is not desirable to touch. waitress only accepts cash. try placing that on your website. i jumped through hoops going to convenience store atms and finally my bank to get cash. i brought itbackand put it on the table about a half hour later. your coffee is terrible.

good food. the omelets were good, as were the roasted potatoes that are served in the side. the biscuits were very light and fluffy. the coffee was just okay though. the service was good. we would gobackif we lived in town.

way over priced. $8 & $9 for a 3 egg omelet, total cost to them, less than a dollar. what a deal!
my wife had the veggie omelet and she said it was pretty good, but overpriced. since i don’t really care for omelets, i ordered the standard burger at $6; all of the other were $8 or more. asked for mustard instead of mayo with extra onions, received a piece of meat on a bun, a few onions and a bottle of mustard. they throw in a bunch of ruffles potato chips. i then asked the server for lettuce, tomatoes and pickles. he camebackwith “all the veggie a burger could need”. apiece of lettuce, some hamburger pickles and exactly one thin slice of tomato.
never again.

atomic bomb!. for living in corpus for the last 12 years me and my family have eaten at almost every restaurant corpus has had to offer and for the most part, we're pleased. here in corpus christi there have been some profound establishments that i enjoy very much and i never have problems with, but altogether, at atomic omelette i had no large one singled out problem; instead i was annoyed to find so many small problems with this place. i went in with my wife and her sister and all three of us had completely different takes on this new place. none of which were positive. once we went inside we sat down on the awful colored hospital green "couches" that were for waiting in front. never once were we asked if we needed help or anything of the kind, after about 20 minutes we finally decided we were gonna leave, not until a staff member came up and said, "bye thanks comebackagain." we hadn't even ordered! it was enough to automatically turn us off and then we finally approached the counter where a very confusing cashier asked what we'd like to order. very new to this place, i figured we would all try some breakfast. i ordered the signature atomic omelette which was a floppy under seasoned mess. my meal was around $12 after i added a small amount of spinach and mushrooms which actually made the omelette unappetizing. my wife and her sister had pancakes and french toast, both of which tasted like bread and sugar. not very much different from ihop except it was coated with corn flakes which she found unpleasant to eat. i will say that the plain pancakes were alright except for the fishy taste that they had which may have been from the grill? either way, this place was not anything more than a failed attempt at something new in corpus! especially to see one of the managers harassing the staff to get orders to tables, which they actually never did fast enough because most of them were just lounging around the counter or constantly wrapping silverware. with all these in mind, it puzzles me how all this mess is still running? not to mention the overpriced food and $3 coffee! this place is a lot of buck for absolutely no bang. don't let it ruin your day like it did ours!!!!

this plase rock's. i took my mom last week to the atomic omelette and the food was awesome and the staff was great !!!!!!
i got to talk to james one of the cooks/ owner, he has been in the bussines for 25 years in corpus christi and it show's. i recommend the atomic omelette and grill to anyone that love's great food and great service.i will be goingbackeverytime imbackin corpus. my mom loved it so much she now takeing all her church buddies.

i have gone to eat breakfast and lunch here already and both times i was absolutely pleased with the food. i had the blueberry pancakes for breakfast, best i ever had, the fresh berries burst in your mouth as you eat them. the price was $7.99, not bad considering the 2 pancakes were a bigger portion. for lunch i had their bbq burger, terrific! they make their own bbq in house and it has a sweet flavor with a little heat as well. the burger patty was juicy too, hard to find these days. the menu doesn't describe any food but the people at the counter know how to describe everything. the prices are a little higher on some foods, but the quality of the food is definitly worth paying a little more for. i will definitly keep goingbackto aog.

omelette and french toast. the basic omelette was $5.99 and each additional item you have to pay for add smoked ham(hardly any) .99 - add mushroom(again hardly any) .49 add spinach(again hardly any) .49 add sun-dried tomatoes(again hardly any) .49 add bacon(again not much) .99 most of it was egg and a little cheese.
they call it hawaiian toast which was good with sausage but not worth $6.99 for 2 pieces of bread and 2 small round sausage. 2 omelettes and 2 french breads cost me a whopping $34.50..............wow $5.99 for a basic omelette with not much on it but 3 eggs and cheese is outrageous!!!! sorry i can't gobackwith those type prices. i will say it all tasted fantastic. but they are definitely making money off of corpus christi
