it was my first time in aripa, pallimukku.have heard that we can only enter this small restaurant with nice and simple interiors after waiting for a while only and experienced it for the first. didn’t do much exploring and ordered their chicken biriyani and fresh lime.
i enjoyed the fine grained rice biriyani withgood2 pieces of chicken half fried in a tasty semi-gravy. the portion size was reasonable nothing more nothing less. it’s a nice place and would definitely need more outings to explore more from the menu. but i have ordered a take away of ravuthar biriyani from the place and i prefer the ordinary biriyani although ravuthar is agoodoption to be explored when in mood for variety.
overall agoodexperience and that explains the crowd waiting outside the restaurant at peek hours on a daily basis.

well it's great restaurant, bit busy on the weekdays i guess, had the chettinad chicken and it tastesgoodand authentic and it lives upto the hype. (my lack of enthusiasm and energy is maybe because i am from calicut and there are a lot of restaurants like this *cough* paragon? *cough*

been to this place for lunch .. ordered kerala fish curry meals - which we like as we get lots of curries .. fair enough - when i peeped to other folks dishes - well everyone ordered biriyani - may b they r famous for those .. place was crowded and people were waiting .. from me a 4 star for u guys ... liked the food . and ambience as well . staff wasgood. (if you dnt have tome to wait go early ) lol..

the ambience isgoodbut i'm really disappointed with their customer service. we had to wait for a long time. i will never visit aripa again.

tasty food and pocket friendly place.however,the place is a bit crowded and not suitable for family outings etc .we had beef,chicken,kappa and porotta and every dish tastedgoodenough.

nice ambience . not much of a crowd nowadays . but still you might find difficult for parking .
good : tani nandan options and some chinese. we tried different varieties of puttu and beef . beef tastesgood. and tea was also nice . coffee didn't impress us that much . and puttu was soft and quantity was sufficient but i wouldn't say value for money . and prawn puttu it was quite difficult to find the prawns

i have had biriyani from arippa many times, dine in as well as home delivery, usually the taste is good, but this time it was too bad. rice didn't tastegood, lack of masala , onions and cooked chicken!

this was the first time, i ordered from this restaurant and the order was accidentally placed by me. i had already eaten before ordering prawns biryani from the restaurant. i was wondering what to do when the order gets delivered. so i decided that i would taste a little and then keep the rest in the fridge. however, all plans failed the moment i had my first bite of the biryani. the prawns biryani from here was simply amazing. the flavors was irresistible, i ended up finishing the entire biryani in one sitting. this in itself is an accomplishment because the quantity of the biryani wasgoodtoo. the most peculiar thing about the biryani was the perfect balance of the masala and the ghee rice. i have been wanting to eat agoodbiryani with fresh prawns for a long time, and this place fulfilled my desire. i am now tempted to try other items from this place. will surely do that. the packaging wasgoodtoo, as the biryani came in agoodquality plastic container.

quantity could be much better for the price. hardly serves two people and too much for single person also. butter chicken was tasty but there was not even agoodfull piece of chicken. all pieces were fully bones. could have been better.

i had porotta and beef coconut fry.
the porrotta wasgoodand the beef coconut fry was pathetic. the beef was just boiled and just added with little spices and coconut and mixed like that. the worst beef fry i ever had.

the thing they aregoodat is seafood dishes or proper kerala food.. they should just focus on that.. coz they aregoodin that.. unnecessary adding the menu with too much dishes which doesn’t taste thatgoodjust makes it confusing for people what to order..

agoodpick out there for naadan dishes. what we had from here is chicken biriyani, rawthar biriyani, porotta, chicken roast, chettinad chicken curry. as the first thing i must say that the portion they are serving isgoodenough for the price. as compared to other restaurants the main difference which i found in the portions was, there will 6 - 8 small pieces in curry items and with enough gravy which can easily serve 2 which makes it worth for the price. porotta is layered and soft. rawthar biriyani is a must try items which is different from normal biriyani. it is kind of biriyani in which rice and meat is cooked together, which is found in some areas of palakkad and commonly found in tamil nadu. normal biriyani is alsogoodenough and very delicious. the only drawback is lack of parking in peak time. as it is in main road side, it is a bit hard to find a parking during busy hours. they have dine in currently.

i asked for 6 appam and 3 porotta's all i got is 3 appam and 3 porotta and i paid 420... i agree the food taste isgoodbut the attitude the owners/cashier's have is weird..... the customer experience is the worst i ever had... i mean i had a better experience going to a local shop than this.... i mean seriouslyyyyyy

we ordered from here..it was really bad food..the chicken kondattam tasted weird and bad..the palappam had an unpleasant taste..kozhi kidathi porichathu was notgoodeither..parotta was notgoodtoo..everything was a disappointment with an after taste..we were expecting the best because ofgoodreviews but it was not good..
