been to this place for lunch .. ordered kerala fish curry meals - which we like as we get lots of curries .. fair enough - when i peeped to other folks dishes - well everyone ordered biriyani - may b they r famous for those .. place was crowded and people were waiting .. from me a 4 star for u guys ... liked the food . andambienceas well . staff was good . (if you dnt have tome to wait go early ) lol..

theambienceis good but i'm really disappointed with their customer service. we had to wait for a long time. i will never visit aripa again.

good : tani nandan options and some chinese. we tried different varieties of puttu and beef . beef tastes good . and tea was also nice . coffee didn't impress us that much . and puttu was soft and quantity was sufficient but i wouldn't say value for money . and prawn puttu it was quite difficult to find the prawns

the place is well situated in the heart of the city. dishes are yummy and worth the price. theambienceis very nice having famous characters of malayalam cinema. the customer service is excellent. need to wait during night time due to the rush, but it’s worth. a definite place to go.

(17 jan 2021) v order fried rice, chilly chicken nd pepper beef fry, thought we could hv a better taste bt turns to b d other way l, we culd hv hd some tea instead from a chayakada... only thing we were satisfied was dambienceover there.... dnt go by d looks food was nt as pleasing as expected

this place reminded me of the traditional "maa ke haath ka khana"... this is going to be on my list of must visit places in kerala. best kappa biryani i have ever had. awesomeambienceas well!!!

first of all let me tell u , iam food lover who enjoys variations of food from authentic to fusion. being a malayali , a hotelier - kerala cuisine stays close to my heart .
arripa is centrally located in south cochin , has limited seating. but trust me it’s worth the wait. i generally don’t waste my time writing reviews unless it’s expectionally good and consistent . theambienceis lit and i have been going to this place from almost 2 years . every time i think about cochin or i land in cochin i make it a point to visit arippa . it’s cost effective, tasty and one of the best beef dry fry ever tasted in my life . dishes like natholi fry , beef puttu , chenda kappa is worth a try . it’s best to try typical kerala food from them than other cuisines . their kerala porottas are super flaky and mouth watering . best wishes for the management!

wanted to try something new so got to this place through zomato . finding the place was easy though zomato however as not not able to decipher malayalam it was difficult to make out that the location has been reached as the restaurant signboard is in malayalam. parking is a challenge as there is limited parking place outside the road . the place was crowded on a sunday evening however got the place after 10 minutes waiting . decentambienceand the menu is all kerala delicacy , ordered chicken pepper, appam, chicken putty, chicken fry and a fried rice . the chicken pepper was amazing and the gravy really tingled your taste buds with the pepper flavour, chicken puttu in wheat flour was also good and boneless chicken fry was fresh and tasty. didn’t try any beef dishes so will pay a visit again to try the same . service was good and so it is a must to go place if you want to treat anyone food kerala malabar food.

we had chemmen puttu, porotta and kadal curry here. the food was good and the place was also nicely done. theambiencewas good and the service satisfactory. good place.

amazing place to have biriyani.. you wanna have gooooood biriyani, go to arippa. good service and foodambiencetoo . friendly staff too.. whenever i feel to have biriyani arippa is the first option.

this place serves one of the best biryani in kochi. i had the beef and chicken biryani. beef biryani was my favourite. the place is not huge but theambienceis pretty good. the place is usually crowded at peak times that you will have to wait outside for 10-20 mints.
the parking is a downside for this restaurant as it is in the heart of the city. there is not much space parking outside the restaurant as it is right next to a very busy road.

arippa is quite a small yet satisfying place for a dine out. they serve amazing naadan bhakshanam, which they have named in quite an amusing way. some of the dishes have really catchy names. the flavour in their dishes is really good and has an authentic malabar touch. theambienceis also pretty good.

when we were staying in kochi last week for 2 days, we were worried about if the food would suit our kolkata bengali taste buds. for the first afternoon we decided to give this place a try, and thus, we had every following meal here itself.
the food was great, theambiencewas amazing, and the staff was top notch. a lot of the staff was bengali, but even the malayali staff and management were amazing. the last meal we had, we asked for an extra spoon, and a bengali staff member told us,"tomra kal shokale chole jabe, aj are na diye pari" (translation- you are leaving tomorrow morning, how can i say no?). it's a great place. the staff, the management made my 2 day stay in kochi lovely, and i looked forward to every meal. thank you to you all! lots of love!

nice place in mg road. theambienceis awesome and the taste of the food is superb!

their palappam was really good and so was their biryani.
the rates are pretty okay.

so the other day, we again went in to arippa and had veg meals and chicken biryani. they were really good.
they are maintaining their standard and service.
