it was my first time in aripa, pallimukku.have heard that we can only enter this small restaurant with nice and simple interiors after waiting for a while only and experienced it for the first. didn’t do much exploring and ordered their chickenbiriyaniand fresh lime.
i enjoyed the fine grained ricebiriyaniwith good 2 pieces of chicken half fried in a tasty semi-gravy. the portion size was reasonable nothing more nothing less. it’s a nice place and would definitely need more outings to explore more from the menu. but i have ordered a take away of ravutharbiriyanifrom the place and i prefer the ordinarybiriyanialthough ravuthar is a good option to be explored when in mood for variety.
overall a good experience and that explains the crowd waiting outside the restaurant at peek hours on a daily basis.

been to this place for lunch .. ordered kerala fish curry meals - which we like as we get lots of curries .. fair enough - when i peeped to other folks dishes - well everyone orderedbiriyani- may b they r famous for those .. place was crowded and people were waiting .. from me a 4 star for u guys ... liked the food . and ambience as well . staff was good . (if you dnt have tome to wait go early ) lol..

i have hadbiriyanifrom arippa many times, dine in as well as home delivery, usually the taste is good, but this time it was too bad. rice didn't taste good , lack of masala , onions and cooked chicken!

dint get salad with biriyani. also thebiriyaniform mg road branch is not up to mark.

this was really pathetic..ordered fish and chickenbiriyaniand what we got was some overcooked ghee rice with some bland gravy beneath..how can you even name it a biriyani..better you check out with other restaurants in and around you and learn how to make biriyani..ashamed of myself for choosing your restaurant..

a good pick out there for naadan dishes. what we had from here is chicken biriyani, rawthar biriyani, porotta, chicken roast, chettinad chicken curry. as the first thing i must say that the portion they are serving is good enough for the price. as compared to other restaurants the main difference which i found in the portions was, there will 6 - 8 small pieces in curry items and with enough gravy which can easily serve 2 which makes it worth for the price. porotta is layered and soft. rawtharbiriyaniis a must try items which is different from normal biriyani. it is kind ofbiriyaniin which rice and meat is cooked together, which is found in some areas of palakkad and commonly found in tamil nadu. normalbiriyaniis also good enough and very delicious. the only drawback is lack of parking in peak time. as it is in main road side, it is a bit hard to find a parking during busy hours. they have dine in currently.

arippa never seems to disappoint me. i have become a fan of theirbiriyaniespecial rawuthar biriyani. everytime we order something from arippa, the taste, quality and quantity is guaranteed. their porotta and chicken curry is also tasty.
they are very consistent and the staff is polite and well organised. you order takeaway, they are ready with your order no matter how early or late you get there

had beef mulakittathu &  parotta. sadly, the beef pieces weren’t cooked well, was kind of stiff. but, more disappointing part was - the dish contained  lots of ‘chow’ (intramuscular fat) pieces, to be very frank it was ‘almost full’ of it! i just cannot imagine how a reputed concern could do something like this. 
i won’t say that my experience with this place was all bad because, just a day back i hadbiriyani(chicken) from here, and it was too good. because of that positive experience i thought to try something else from this place and unfortunately it turned to be a disaster.
i would like to mention that my purpose of this review is not to slam the restaurant, but to inform the restaurant mngmnt, so that they take heed and avoid such incidents from happening  in the future. i truly feel that the place is good ( except for this one off incident i assume) and has lots of scope. i will have food from here again soon and i truly hope  my next experience would be a good one.

we had rawther biryani and beef kondattom. i was having a high expectation for the rawther biryani, but all of it vanished as soon as i tasted the biriyani... the biryani was cold.... the worst thing that one could do to a biryani was to serve it cold. i was wondering why it took soo long to serve a dumbiriyaniwhich was prepared before...
the beef kondattam was really nice and was hot. the waiters really lack professionalism... i had to ask twice for water,

a small but beautiful place bustling with people from all walks of life. if you're lucky you might get parking. and you might even have to wait a bit to get seats. but definitely worth it!

ordered ravuthar biriyani.. i loved this! rice well cooked in spicy masala and soft chicken.
the muttonbiriyaniwas good and so was chickenbiriyaniwhich had pieces that were fried first, but managed to maintain the softness of the chicken.
next up, we ordered karimeen pollichathu.. this was steaming hot and the masala was spicy and delicious.
ended with a couple of lime and sodas.

a wholesome family place that serves good food.

update: tried the fish curry meals. not worth the price. the coconut fish curry was good tho.

had a chickenbiriyanifrom here. the food tasted really good. staff were friendly and interactive. the location lacks parking. the restaurant was crowded when i visited and was required to wait for a while. the ambiance is commendable too.

amazing place to have biriyani.. you wanna have gooooood biriyani, go to arippa. good service and food ambience too . friendly staff too.. whenever i feel to havebiriyaniarippa is the first option.

biriyani is not worth its not a malabar dumbiriyanijust chicken gravy stuffed into the rice which does not taste as if dum hospitality is great.

simply amazing food, the flavors of which remain with you long after you have left the place. ordered the chicken roast, wheat parotta, fish curry, kappa and chickenbiriyanihere. the wheat parotta and chicken roast were a standout here. have never had such tasty, crispy and flaky parottas anywhere else. and the chicken roast along with it was to die for. the ambience is perfect and the service extremely prompt. this place is packed most evenings and on weekends, thanks to the quality of food it serves up. would recommend booking a table here before visiting. definitely recommended for kochiites of all ages and sizes.. cheers!

came here today evening. ordered kappa egg curry, puttu, beef kurumulakitathu, mutton roast, chickenbiriyaniand a sulaimani to end with.

food was amazing. portions are of decent quantity.worth the money paid. please ensure that the quality is maintained.

staff were cool and helpful. interiors were done beautifuly with legendary malayalam movie characters and their dialogues.
