andina restaurant

south american cuisine is a beautiful and brash mix of many styles ranging in influence from spanish tapa faire to incan flaire. at andina the southern hemisphere comes alive with dishes that inspire beyond the typical palate. pair that with live music, knowledgable service and a warm welcoming ambience and andina is my favorite dinning experience in town.

great place---a must try. it is an awesome place for a change of taste from run of the mill food. there are many options for gluten free-dairy free-nut free diets. excellent food, service, and value for money.

excelent peruvian food! great place to eat with family or some friends.

good. this place is great. just don't go on a sunday night. clearly, all the best cooks and waiters have that night off. sort of a "b-team" experience when we last went on a sunday.

not very friendly. i thought that the staff here were very unfriendly. it started with an encounter with the hostess. i have eaten here many times, and i am tired of the snooty looks and rude treatment from the swarm of ladies at the hostess stand.

having dined there three times since march 2010, it was already a favorite restaurant in the pearl district, especially for a vegan and a vegetarian. service was spectacular and very responsive. the cocktails were very unique with their names and the ingredients were freshly blended into a delicious one. always start with the cocktail containing haberno pepper because it is among the most unique cocktails you will ever drink once you leave this restaurant. as a vegan, it is never disappointing to request to have these dishes made for vegans because their individual menus was designated for a vegan and vegetarian, separating from the meat menus. appetizers were to die for, especially when they were pressed into colorful cakes of potatoes infused with lime juice and a touch of beautifully sliced avocados. colourful potatoes/beets and medley of tropical-coloured vegetables were used alot in many of the veg-friendly appetizers especially the main courses. there were only three main courses that can be made for vegans/vegetarians. the curry-like squash sauce with basil rice tasted ah-mazing especially the risotto cake with fresh wild mushrooms/golden beets.

really enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere here. ordered multiple small plates to share and all were well prepared and delicious. restaurant itself is very warm and comfortable and staff was gracious and attentive. will definitely return.

love the bar.... they probably have the best cocktails in town. i enjoy the restaurant but i really like the bar and they have great cocktails... did i mention that already? the best thing to do is call ahead to make a reservation or see how busy the bar is though, it fills up quickly because it is a smaller room and the seating is cozy.

the food and service both were great! thanks for making my experience great and loving! the staff was amazing and so was the taste of food. i will definitely come back.

first time eating here, very clean and nice restaurant. very polite waitress very knowledgeable of all dishes very patient with customers first time in peruvian restaurant.

we recently celebrated my husbands birthday here ... really nice place to go with family.

we had tapas so we could try many dishes. the place is amazing some of the best empanadas i have tried in while. really good grilled octopus and also amazing fish ceviche. look forward to coming back later this year.

a sublime experience. cosy, sophisticated setting with the right ambience. superb food, well cooked and presented with flavor to spare. good selection of wines by the glass, local and imported. intelligent and attentive but not overbearing service. one of the best dining experiences to day after 3 weeks in the usa. very highly recommended

authentic cuisine. upscale environment. peruvian staff. what more could you ask for in a peruvian restaurant?

best meal i've had in a long time! excellent service. atun was a large portion and melted in my mouth. wine was perfect. peppers stuffed with quinoa, serrano ham, and cheese were incredible.
