the food was good. the waiter perved on my girlfriend, made me feel nice;-) very expensive.

hidden pearl in the pearl. i've never seen this restaurants on any list of top portland restaurants and can't figure out why. the menu is intriguing and not the kind of things that is at every other restaurant. only ate there twice, but the service made me fee my companion and i feel as at home as if we had visited there many times. the food is not just tasty, but exciting. as an added treat, the wine prices are reasonable.

from the gluten free fried platains to the ginger creme brûlée, this was a fantastic dinner. the service was perfect and they quietly recognized our anniversary with a free dessert. perfect!

i've dined at andina twice and both times have found the food, service, and atmosphere delightful. excellent flavors & presentation.

great food, great atmosphere.. finding andina number 1 on urbanspoon may have gotten my hopes up a bit. to sum it up, it's a great place to dine, but number 1... not sure about that.

good food...service.. okay, yes, i'm kind of harsh on service. credit that to my background - i grew up in a kitchen so i expect top notch service and andina failed to deliver.

food was very good, ambiance is pleasant, hostess warm but the warmth stopped once we sat down. maybe our server had an off night?

as much as we get into eating and drinking, if we can do both for less it is even sweeter. hence our fascination with happy hours around town. at dinner the other night our enabling friends d&k were mentioning the hh at andina , pdx's bastion of peruvian

wonderful!. my dining experience at andina was wonderful! my boyfriend, my sister, her friend and i had dinner there after a long day at the portland zoo. our server was friendly, informative and was incredibly knowledgeable of the menu. we had lots of questions and he was able to help us choose menu items to suit our group perfectly. everything was amazing! we only had water with our dinner, so my only regret is that i didn't try any of their signature cocktails!

lively bar and tasty small plates.. breads with special dipping sauces, interesting cocktails, and yummy small plates. i will return.

i don't usually drink hard liquor but the sexy woman cocktail is the most mouth watering drink i have ever tasted. whenever we go to portland, andina is the first place we go to have a sexy woman or 3 before we start out our restaurant crawl. we tried to duplicate it at our bar and we didn't even come close.

i guess so. this place has been hit and miss for me. twice i've had terrible experiences -- cold food, messed up orders. i have had some decent meals there, but nothing to get too excited about.

so good.. i love this place. the cocktails are awesome, especially the habanero mango one. i love the little salsas and bread they give you. and the mussels.... mmmmmm. best mussels ever. they have a corn salsa thing on top, and are seriously amazing. all the ceviches are great, the oysters are awesome, and everything on the small plates menu is amazing. the couple full sized entrees i've had were also ridiculously good, especially the pork medallions. mmmm. i want to eat here every day.

andina- autentica!. one of my favorite places in portland - authentic peruvian - from the pisco sours to the causa (potato pie)...and everything in between, including the perfect cevice...oh, my...and the atmosphere is lovely - relaxing, dressed-up but not pretentious, with pleasant young staff...thank you!!
