great food, bring your smallest car. here's my only negative to theplace- the parking lot is awful. if you have a tahoe and a corolla, bring the corolla. i have 2 suvs and i hate parking either one there.

after you get in, you don't care. theplaceis a little busy, but as long as you don't the table directly outside of the kitchen entrance (yes, i got it once) you are in for a great dining experience.

our service has been great for the 10 years that we've been going there. the food is excellent. the pork chops are phenomenal. i don't think i've ever had a meal there that i didn't like.

the chicken parmigiana is better at roma's, but for everything else amerigo sets the standard for italian in the jackson area.

i don’t understand how thisplacehas under 5 stars! we’ve been coming here for years and have had a good meal every time. our favorites are the wild mushroom ravioli and tiramisu. the service is always great and we never leave disappointed. the food is well priced and delicious. keep it up amerigo!

spent 500 dollars there 2 weeks ago for a group company related celebration. drove 3 hours to celebrate with family locally. the food was horrible, no one in the group liked one item. after spending a month planning/speaking with the manager via phone and email about the menu items; it was an epic fail. the 2 waiters were very nice, one even played with the kids a lot. i kept asking for that manager i had planned menu with and was told she was on her way, they didn't know where she was... thought she would be in by now. we were there for 3 hrs and she never showed up......so unprofessional. i needed to discuss with her no one was liking food choices/other alternatives. i will never eat there again or recommend amerigo's/flowood ms. however theplacewas nice and i enjoyed the private room despite food being terrible and manager no show to check on seeing how everything/food was going. the group talked about how bad food was for a week😡.

thisplacehas been around for a while. good solid italian food and good service too. there are some inconsistencies from time to time with the same dish. i think the decor needs to be refreshed some.

my first visit to amerigo's was for their early bird supper tonight. theplacewas already crowded by 5ish which gave me high expectations of the food. my only disappointment was the cheese fritter appetizer. not really a fan of the gooey cheese combination used in this dish and the marinara sauce was rather bland. the blackened grilled chicken alfredo was rather simplistic with its flavors but overall palatable with generous portions. the chicken marsala had a juicy breast filet over fettuccine with a smooth and savory wine brown sauce finished with artichoke hearts & mushrooms. very good dish! there are many menu items to choose from so on my next visit (hopefully in their new flowood location), i'll be able to try another delectable dish.

this italian eatery is a jackson (or should i say ridgeland?) favorite, and for good reason. i've eaten there three times in the past month, and my love for thisplacecontinues to grow. the most recent of these three trips was to grab lunch to go. i called amerigo toplacemy order, but i wasn't exactly sure what i wanted (i am sure i'm not the only one who has this happen, right?). amerigo has an "$11 deal" on lunch to go, and i knew i wanted that - but i didn't know what food options were possible or that i even wanted. brandie took my order and explained that the $11 deal covers food, drink and a small piece of tiramisu as well as tax and tip.she also went on to describe the daily special, which was one of the available food options for this lunch deal. before she even got through the whole description, i knew i wanted the special

great food for as long as i can remember. i haven't been there lately, but if they haven't changed in the past few years, which i'm guessing they haven't, thisplacewill leave with a very happy tummy. since i was a little girl, i can't remember ever having anything i didn't like there, and the tiramisu just melts in your mouth.

terrible service. friend and i tried this restaurant a couple of times and both times the service was teerrible. first times we went, after we got seated waited about 20 minutes for a server to even great us and offer us drinks , to make matters worse theplacewas not even full. then when we got our bill it was all wrong there were items added in the bill that we did not even order. the 2nd time we went, again the restaurant wast not busy at all i mean servers just seating around doing nothing. there was no person there to seat us. needless to say waited to about 20 minutes again with no availl finally ask for the manager and told him the situation and we left. went to char instead.

excellent italian time & time again.... this italian restaurant over in ridgeland is like an old sweater. its worn in and gives you that nice warm feeling all over. i have been here numerous times, by myself and with friends and family, and can tell you with certainty that this is how italian is supposed to be. the dishes are traditional and inviting, with a little modern edge thrown in to keep it interesting. my absolute favorite is the prince edward island mussels, but everything on the appetizer menu is a true delight. a part of the menu that can keep most patrons coming back time and again are the salads. imagine, arugula with flame grilled apples! and then - my fave - veal saltimbocca! omg!! can it get any better? well, in fact - yes. it can. the tiramisu. chuck - my apologies - but i have only had tiramisu better than this once - in new york. its smooth, rich, creamy, and high on flavor. just the best around. and the wine list is one of the strongest and most interesting in jackson. the atmosphere is authentic italian-american warm and friendly, and the service is very good, although a little frantic on busy nights. okay - i'll just tell you - every night is busy. so it is a good idea to make reservations or you will have quite a wait. (which i have never had trouble doing, btw.) and thats because thisplaceis consistently amazing time & time again.
