superb service. it was the first time my sister kate and i ate at amerigo. we were guests of ken and cynthia c. they commented to us "you guys are going to really like amerigo." and to our surprise it was superb food as well as the services. it was my mom elizabeth second time. i am from bayarea california where eateries are everywhere but;amerigois added to my list of eateries when visting the south. i thank my brother ken and his wife cynthia.

great food, bring your smallest car. here's my only negative to the place - the parking lot is awful. if you have a tahoe and a corolla, bring the corolla. i have 2 suvs and i hate parking either one there.

after you get in, you don't care. the place is a little busy, but as long as you don't the table directly outside of the kitchen entrance (yes, i got it once) you are in for a great dining experience.

our service has been great for the 10 years that we've been going there. the food is excellent. the pork chops are phenomenal. i don't think i've ever had a meal there that i didn't like.

the chicken parmigiana is better at roma's, but for everything elseamerigosets the standard for italian in the jackson area.

a sure bet for a place to go on a date, a family or special business meal?

the black and white tile floor in the dining area is very slippery. i fell this evening and got grease all over my pants. need to pay closer attention to detail.

why did the 3 of the waitstaff try to hang a 4 ft by 5 ft picture in the dining room at 7pm during the middle of a service ? they pulled tables out and stood in the chairs with customers all around. very unprofessional !!!! standards used to be very high, now they are lacking. if this is happening in front of customers, what is going on in the kitchen ???

i have dined atamerigofor the past 20 years and have never had a bad meal or service. this restaurant has consistently exceeded my expectations. the tarimsu is the best that i have had at any restaurant in the us or europe

gorgonzola butter filet mignon is the best steak in town. accommodating and consistently good,amerigois one of our favorite restaurants around. can't recall a bad experience ever.

this italian eatery is a jackson (or should i say ridgeland?) favorite, and for good reason. i've eaten there three times in the past month, and my love for this place continues to grow. the most recent of these three trips was to grab lunch to go. i calledamerigoto place my order, but i wasn't exactly sure what i wanted (i am sure i'm not the only one who has this happen, right?).amerigohas an "$11 deal" on lunch to go, and i knew i wanted that - but i didn't know what food options were possible or that i even wanted. brandie took my order and explained that the $11 deal covers food, drink and a small piece of tiramisu as well as tax and tip.she also went on to describe the daily special, which was one of the available food options for this lunch deal. before she even got through the whole description, i knew i wanted the special

always great!. we have enjoyedamerigofor several years and we always receive great service and food. some of our favorites are the duck and sausage pasta, the tortellini with crabmeat and of course the tiramisu...the bread is great and there is a good selection on the wine list. great local restaurant that is always an enjoyable experience!!

the kitchen manager chester really knows how to make a guest happy. my order had alot of special instruction but he made exactly the way i wanted it.

long day at work.amerigowas on my mind for dinner. the early bird menu and prices where right up my alley. fresh cut salmon filet over black bean salsa and green beans. now that's a meal

nice meal.amerigohad been on my list of places to try in jackson for a while. we went last night and were very pleased with our meal.

i ordered sausage and duck pasta and mu wife had the ravioli (w half alfredo and half marinara sauces) - both were very good. portions were definitely large enough to take some home. the service was great and our waitress, kimberly, was very attentive and had great suggestions.

plan to spend at least $15-20 per person.

""best italian restaurant in jackson". many people say this aboutamerigoyet i have to question their taste experience with real italian food. amerigo's is only an average at best italian restaurant. maybe it's because there aren't very many italian restaurants in jackson. the times i have been there i have left unimpressed. flavor was truly lacking and in need of garlic, oregano, and basil. i would rather stay home and cook myself.

top-notch italian!. best italian in the area. the selection is great, the desserts are wonderful and the service is good.amerigohas been around for a long time and despite my many visits, i've never left disappointed. their lasagna is very good! one of my favorite places to get it. i rank it ahead of other italian eateries like olive garden or spaghetti warehouse simply because the entire experience is very nice. you'll enjoy the atmosphere and variety of foods on the menu. their lunch specials are so good and inexpensive, it feels like stealing. an entree, salad, drink, and dessert for under $10 is unheard of for such an upscale place.
