amerigo italian restaurant

great food. consistently good food and great service! i dine here at least once a month and i haven't had a bad experience. i would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good italian food!

sceptical. it took me years to visit this restaurant due to the intimidation factor, plus i was a struggling server in college, so money was an issue. i made my first visit about six months ago and can not stay away. their bartender is very inviting and i actually prefer to sit at the bar seeing as most of my visits are for to go orders. you can't go wrong with anything here but i always end up ordering several entree's, but my usual order is the cheese fritters, portobello filet, and the tiramisu. i only get to make it here on sundays because of my work schedule, but wish i could make it more often.

superb service. it was the first time my sister kate and i ate at amerigo. we were guests of ken and cynthia c. they commented to us "you guys are going to really like amerigo." and to our surprise it was superb food as well as the services. it was my mom elizabeth second time. i am from bayarea california where eateries are everywhere but; amerigo is added to my list of eateries when visting the south. i thank my brother ken and his wife cynthia.

decent food, crapshoot service. if the waiters get your order right, then its not bad. slow kitchen service and spotty service. oh well.

food is very very good!

great food, bring your smallest car. here's my only negative to the place - the parking lot is awful. if you have a tahoe and a corolla, bring the corolla. i have 2 suvs and i hate parking either one there.

after you get in, you don't care. the place is a little busy, but as long as you don't the table directly outside of the kitchen entrance (yes, i got it once) you are in for a great dining experience.

our service has been great for the 10 years that we've been going there. the food is excellent. the pork chops are phenomenal. i don't think i've ever had a meal there that i didn't like.

the chicken parmigiana is better at roma's, but for everything else amerigo sets the standard for italian in the jackson area.

i don’t understand how this place has under 5 stars! we’ve been coming here for years and have had a good meal every time. our favorites are the wild mushroom ravioli and tiramisu. the service is always great and we never leave disappointed. the food is well priced and delicious. keep it up amerigo!

always good... cannot go wrong with the duck. even has vegetarian options. just can’t go wrong with eating at this place. gets busy so plan to go early or wait

i love this restaurant because of the great quality food and good atmosphere. when you redid the door it looked better than it originally was. the spaghetti is great and looks great as well. keep it up guys

best ever! the wait can be long, but worth it! the cheese artichoke appetizer is so good and i love the chicken parmigiana. everything is awesome here!

one of the best italian restaurants in town. it's been a staple stone for years to come. have awesome prices on there food for the quality. the way they get you is by jacking up wine prices. i would give them 4.3

this one is tuff to rate. not as good as the original. been hit or miss on and off but usually a hit. this place is closer to 4. probaly tied with ceramis in flowood for italian cuisine. lasagana is a still for 12 or 13 bucks. wines what is little high but not tooo too bad. good chicken parm.

spent 500 dollars there 2 weeks ago for a group company related celebration. drove 3 hours to celebrate with family locally. the food was horrible, no one in the group liked one item. after spending a month planning/speaking with the manager via phone and email about the menu items; it was an epic fail. the 2 waiters were very nice, one even played with the kids a lot. i kept asking for that manager i had planned menu with and was told she was on her way, they didn't know where she was... thought she would be in by now. we were there for 3 hrs and she never showed up......so unprofessional. i needed to discuss with her no one was liking food choices/other alternatives. i will never eat there again or recommend amerigo's/flowood ms. however the place was nice and i enjoyed the private room despite food being terrible and manager no show to check on seeing how everything/food was going. the group talked about how bad food was for a week😡.

this place has been around for a while. good solid italian food and good service too. there are some inconsistencies from time to time with the same dish. i think the decor needs to be refreshed some.

we ate with a group of eight. service was great. everyone liked the food. i had spaghetti my wife had chicken parmigiana. these choices were good.
