classic old-school al's breakfast never disappoints. pancakes are out of this world eggs corn beef hash browns bacon it's like a grease paradise. always come back. so popular need to stand in line for a least an hour. the ambience isgreatit's an experience you need to have.

2nd best breakfast in metro.greatfood at an awsome price! i would give it 4 out of 5 stars for the food alone, as a whole 3.5 out of 5, just because place is small and wait is long sometimes. but food is worth it! cash only though remember that. if you like this place you have to try the north pole in newport mn...food is better, and place is 50 style diner but much bigger then al s.

lotta fun. the food is pretty much nothing special except for the "wally blues"! also known as the walnut/blueberry pancakes! those are great. the dust buildup is rather unsightly, but if you're okay with that, this is a kitschy good time. they have agreatreputation for eggs benedict, but since i'm not a fan of them, i will refrain from commenting on those.

good but not worth the wait.. i got the spring special (one egg with asparagus and hollandaise) and a blueberry pancake. the pancake wasgreatbut the eggs were nothing special, and the sauce weird and i normally love holl. sauce, this is why i got it. my boyfriend was very let down and won't be going back. he left hungry. i would go again for a pancake if it wasn't busy, but i wouldn't wait that hour and a half again, and we went on a mon. morning.

i started in the 60's. my dad took me to al's when i was a kid and would appreciate the experience. i took my son to al's and he loved the whole thing from waiting outside to standing behind the dinners to moving to make room (we moved 4 times) it isgreatto hear him discuss al's with his friends. the food well nuff said.

breakfast of champios. there's no place i'd rather be on a sunday morning for breakfast. have to get the hashbrowns (make sure you're hungry!) and an omelet. agreatbreakfast in the morning and on to the viking game right after!

very good. if you are willing to stand in line in a crowded place that has no ambience (think messy college dorm room), with servers yelling back and forth, for agreatcheap meal, this place is for you! bottom-line, al’s offers delicious and cheap breakf
