excellent menu, great food. this is my favorite bar in indianapolis. the first thing you should know is that there are two bars, and the easiest way for me to describe how to switch between them is to just go to the bathroom since you'll see the other side on your way.
i like the smaller, quieter tv-filled wooden atmosphere of the bar on the south end of the building. the beerselectionis huge and constantly changing; i've even had dark lord here, which is one of only 4000 bottles made per year. that is a testament to their constant excellence in maintaining a great beer list.
other than the outstanding beerselectionand great atmosphere, the food is really great. the hermanaki wings are a must every time i come here with buddies, and the pizza is no slouch either. once its cooled on the drive home the pizza seems a little too dense with cheese, but thats not to say it isn't great while you're there.
all-in-all i compare every bar to this place since it has such a great package: sports, quiet pub-like atmosphere, a louder alternative if you prefer that, excellentselectionand a surprisingly good menu. i give it a 9/10 cause its about as good as it gets.
