...what made the pulled pork bbq sandwich i had there such an incredible disappointment.

great place for pizza and beer. i have been going to the ale since the day it has opened and still find it to set the bar for quality food and service in the sports bars of indy. their service staff is fantastic and make you feel at home on every visit. congrats to marc...herman...scott and their entire staff for a job well done for over 25 years!! visit once and you too will be a regular.

terrible service tonight. having a great night with coworkers and ordered absolute favorite 3floyd's gumballhead. ordered 2nd round and was told only warm beer was available. asked for a discount or if there was anything a mgr could do but was told nothing they could do. mgr brian perkins came to table and rolled eyes after we explained the issue. too bad since table already had a 100+ tab and was trying to spend more $. suggest owners or senior mgmt consider that your waitress lost out on 20-30 when we paid checks and walked and the business lost out on at least $50 in additional sales (prob more..) and pushed out regular customers(avg 3x per month) who always spend 100+ and then leave 20+% tips. i guess you have too many of those to offer a half price domestic draft while warm beer gets iced down or any discount on the apps ordered to incentivize a table to stay and spend more $. z

excellent service, food, and decor... what more is there?. oh yea, and quite good price too. have only stopped here once, grabbing couple pizzas and some wings, and was very pleased with all... even with the kitchen missing my order, so had to wait ~15 minutes extra so the staff went out of their way to provide the food and a cola. was very impressed with the food and attention. the hermanaki wings were excellent, and the pizzas (thin crust pig w/ bbq, and a deep dished pepperoni & bacon) were likewise good. so good that when next in the area, this will be a destination,,, and will be sharing this place too with friends.

good. really good deep dish like pizza. cheese was soooo thick!

best chicago style deep dish pizza around. wings are also a must. sit outside in the summer if you don't want to smell like an ashtray.

would not recommend. only 21 and older are allowed to eat and it is definitely not family friendly. the bouncer standing outside was also very rude.

the pizza is great but takes a while so don't order it if you're in a hurry. also, the service over the weekends is horrible! we've actually had 2 different meals comped because the server was mia for such a long time (they offered to comp meal both times). the pizza is really good though so if you don't mind the wait, it's not an issue.

visited the greenwood location. not listed in zomato. the boneless wings are what they are known for. you expect them to be a signature dish. but there are equally great choices to keep you coming back. services at lighting speed. location in greenwood is easy to get to. lots of parking.

boom goes the dynamite of hermanaki wings and deep dish pizza in my mouth . great atmosphere and a great range of craft beers both local and regional . if you like good food and a great place to watch sports you will enjoy this spot

moved away years ago & i really miss the ale! the great food & drinks. spent many sundays in there. hey paul & renee, everyone else! miss you guys...bob s.

service was attentive, and the waitress was knowledgable about the beer and food. it is an open air restaurant with outside seating too. it is in a strip mall so outside overlooks the parking lot. we enjoyed a plate of meaty wings with hermanaki sauce along with some tasty beers. we would return when in the mood for some good wings.

only 2 things could make this better. first, offer a location closer to my house. second, add family seating so i can go more often.

the herman style wings are up there with some of the best i've ever had. the pizza wasn't bad either. this place is massive and a great place to watch sports as they play game sound and have a nice selection of beers on tap.

great pizza! best in town. although you can't go there and not get wings! herminaki are great! add in the white panini, cheese fries, ultimate grilled cheese, wacko burger, anything always good! there is a wild bald headed manager there, but we can ignore some stuff :). enjoy the best bar in indy!
