not what i expected in food, a bit over priced for what we ordered. small plate of cheese and meat was not worth the price, cheese tasted like it came from a lunchables meal. the belorussia kuldony lacked flavor, although the potato was very crisp. the meat blintzes we're fine, crepes we're the best part of the blintzes

we all loved this place! people as friendly as the ones we encountered here are hard to come by. some of the nicest people i have ever mer.e.m. my stroganoff was amazing and the other people i was with raved about how good their entrees were. lots of stuff to look at here as well. i ended up buying an amber pendant while my husband bought some nesting dolls. we will be going back.

quaint little shop and restaurant all in one: russian, east european and german cuisine is served here.

i had the rolled cabbage: two large servings with a side of rice in a nice light broth. simply delicious.

not sure sitting in the middle of a souvenir shop with deli cases of meats and cheeses on the other side makes this anything but weird though lol

i like this place. the food was great only surpassed by the beauty of the surrounding art and gift items, which made me want to buy up the whole store. it was a great experience and the food came very fast but it might have only seemed like that because time flies when you are looking at all the gifts

the food was wonderful!!! we especially enjoyed the nutella crepes- just like what we had in paris! my only complaint is waiting for drink refills and the ticket.

dumpling sampler was excellent. going to be hard not to order it again in order to try something else.
service was great and atmosphere was relaxed.

if you are looking for a fancy, gourmet russian dining experience look elsewhere; however, if you are looking for a very good, home style cooking russian meal, this is the place.
the food was good enough to bring back fond memories of my grandparents.  the service was attentive and seamless.  the atmosphere was pleasant and conducive to a good dining experience,
we selected sampler platters.  the portions were generous, and everything was fresh.  the crepes with russian preserves (black currant) were a fantastic finish to the meal.
browsing through the goods on sale inevitably lead to purchases of sweets and russian keepsakes.
i am looking forward to patronizing this establishment in the future.

mmmm... perogies. i've been there multiple times. my personal favorite is still the perogies. covered with caramelized onions they just make my day and leave me full and happy no matter which ones i get.

first time, and it's delicious!. this is the first time i've tried eastern european food (seriously!) and it was absolutely delicious!

my husband and i ordered the meat lovers platter, which is meant to feed 2 people. it came with mushroom-stuffed meatloaf topped with gravy, beef stroganoff (no noddles), beef goulash, and fried potatoes. talk about delicious! satisfying and very stick to your ribs. i imagine this to be the equivalent of comfort food in eastern europe. my husband and i just kept saying it was "so good" and "delicious" because there were really no other words for it!

the staff was super friendly, and multiple times throughout our meal, the owner asked to see how we were and how our food was.

the restaurant is also part store as well, and there were a lot of eastern european decor and knick-knacks. we enjoyed looking around while we waited for our meal.

we finished the meal with nutella crepes which were also good, and my husband said they reminded him of the ones he's had while he lived in germany.

needless to say, we'll go back whenever we're down in the dallas area again.
