greatplaceto have a quote brunch on a weekend. very modern menu and well balanced food. i loved hash browns in my salmon rush dish! didn’t feel any fat or oil in it at all as it happens often in other places. haven’t tried their coffee, but i’m sure it would be good as well.
will definitely come back xx

like every picture suggest thisplaceis about as insta-worthy as it gets. the playing and all the colours they use are absolutely gorgeous and thankfully the flavours aren't too bad either.

starting with the drinks the caramel milkshake was stock standard and exactly what you expect so not much to speak about there. the taro latte was nice but a little too subtle on the flavours for me and 90% of what i could taste was just milk which was a shame.

the food itself was alright. with the zucchini dish, the fritters were delicious and easily the best thing on the plate but everything else was just a little bland and didn't add too much to the dish.

the matcha pancakes were nice but the matcha flavour was never too apparent with the sweetness of everything else taking the lead instead. not saying everything was too sweet just that the matcha wasn't quite there for me.

overall, brewer's tale is a nice cafe and a decent brunch spot but with flavours that are a bit too mild and one note for me.

always a good idea to get reservations as thisplacecan get pretty packed.

the staff is an affable lot, they're all very sweet! the ambience is ideal for a brunch. the interiors are adorable.

this goes without saying, the food is gorgeous! it's just so pleasing to the eyes. everything tastes decent. the highlight for me was definitely the french toast. unexpectedly, the purple sweet potato latte was flavourful and had a smooth texture to it.

would i go back? maybe, for the french toast.

had a look at the rating and thought 'yeah... thisplacewill do' but was a bit dissapointed... it was packed when we got there but thankfully a couple were leaving so we only waited 5 min for a table, which is nice. i had the morning muesli with the mango panna cota and thought it was really good, a bit dry... but good. my hubby on the other hand had the 'corn fritters' which were 90% batter and you were lucky if you got corn and/or zucchini on each mouthfull. but smoothies and service were good.

a bit disappointed here. this cafe is a cosy and cuteplaceon burton street, right next to darlo's green park. from outside, looks definitely promising. my berry smoothie was awesome and we were pumped up for what was coming next. i had the green bowl, it was okay-ish and plain. my partner's got poached eggs that happened to be boiled. not great.

food are delicious and pretty, services are great, aplacegreat for friends chatting : ) beef sausages are my best fav. the matcha hot cake are a bit dry for me, prefer a more moist taste. sweet potato earl grey are great but a bit sweet to me. overall i’m highly recommend this place.

we had a nice experience today at this cafe. the waitress was very kind and theplacehad a nice relaxed vibe. we did notice the food was taking a while and eventually were told that the kitchen hadn’t put the order through. we were immediately offered free drinks and an apology. this didn’t bother us at all however and we were so glad that they offered great customer service to a mistake which was on their part. the food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing! even though there was a slight mixup i would highly recommend this cafe to my friends and family and we will be back:)

went to brewer's tale cafe when it opened recently last year. visited theplacewith my foodie troops and we ordered pretty much almost everything on the menu!. in my opinion, they have a great range of dishes but some got they highs and lows for us :). morning muesli - natural yoghurt, fresh seasonal fruit, coconut slices, chia seeds and flaked almonds.

a brewer’s tale is a fairy tale themed cafe in darlinghurst with a whimsical ambiance and decor that does cute and quirky brunch dishes. we had heard good things about thisplaceand finally got around to trying it.

we couldn’t come here without trying their signature matcha hotcakes with fresh fruit, matcha chocolate, pistachios, poached pear, persian fairy floss, coconut slices and red bean. this was amazing and lived up to my expectations. the pancakes were fluffy and full of matcha flavour and went well with the tangy fruit and the sweet red bean. the fairy floss on top was definitely a sweet way to finish off the dish!

the presentation not only of the dishes but also the restaurant down to the themed menus was phenomenal. however, the service and the food was not to the same standard. unfortunately, we had mixed up orders, were frequently asked who ordered a dish that no one on our table had ordered and the staff were noticeably under trained. my food was average, but most sadly, unnecessarily oily. this took away from the taste of the dish. i ordered the zucchini fritters. other people at the table reported similar experiences with their dishes. i was also less than impressed with the coffee, mine was burnt. a few tweaks and some training and thisplacecould really shine.

thisplacehave been all over instagram for their esthetic looking dishes and i've been dying to try it out. it a lot smaller than i expected , right from the door i got a really warm welcome from staffs. order the most famous matcha hot cake , probably 90% for the instagram pictures and not expect big things but oh my god it taste so good just like it look. fruit on the side really help with the sweetness of the matcha cake. overall it was a really nice experience and i would love to comeback someday.

lovely & charming little cafe that i discovered on my way to work looking desperately for a good coffee. i now come almost everyday, quality food and really good coffee with a choice of either a single origin that changes quite often or either a blend. the wait staff is really smily and warm. it's a goodplaceto spend a lazy sunday morning or any other time you want to feel like you're in a cocoon. really recommend it!
