a brewer's tale café

such a wonderful brunch & coffee! thefoodand helpful staff made my rainy winter morning. i had the salmon rush (smoked salmon, hush browns, poached eggs and greens) & large skinny latte - absolutely to die for! i haven’t had so much salmon on my plate for a long time! super fresh & delicious.. highly recommended!

we had chicken burger, chicken salad, coffee and iced green tea latte (forgot to take photos). the waitresses was very nice. i changed the sauce on my chicken burger, which was easily accommodated. the burger was good but nothing special, the chips were dry. the main let down was the chicken salad - they served raw chicken! also it took 30 mins for thefoodto come out.

we had a nice experience today at this cafe. the waitress was very kind and the place had a nice relaxed vibe. we did notice thefoodwas taking a while and eventually were told that the kitchen hadn’t put the order through. we were immediately offered free drinks and an apology. this didn’t bother us at all however and we were so glad that they offered great customer service to a mistake which was on their part. thefoodwas beautifully presented and tasted amazing! even though there was a slight mixup i would highly recommend this cafe to my friends and family and we will be back:)

had a great weekend with nicefoodhere! and the staff service was good too. also they have a big portion for my meal. definitely will back again to this place

small cosy location, seemed like locals come by for a coffee and a good read.
visited with a small group, each ordering a drink and a meal each. everyone's drinks came out all about the same time along with thefoodwhich was fantastic.foodwas delicious and couldn't be faulted.

very disappointing visit to a brewer's tale café. very cold in the cafe accompanied by cold coffees. the coffees and thefoodcame out in drips and drabs. there was twenty minutes between the first and last meal coming out. three of us ordered the french toast which was soggy and didn't taste very nice. one of us had the matcha hot cakes which is supposed to be their signature dish but they were dry and inedible. we still had a to pay despite passing our feedback on to the manager.

it was nice to have a break from the rain and have some sun today so we decided to go out for brunch.

i didn't know about this cafe until i came across an entertainment voucher and i'm glad we made a booking as there were a few people waiting and i definitely didn't want to sit outside.

cute decor inside and friendly staff. we tried their signature matcha latte which was strong so we needed sugar to sweeten it up a bit. i tried their purple sweet potato which i preferred and this was a nice purple drink for the cool weather.

in terms offoodi went for their zucchini and pea fritter which looked disappointing as they were two tiny pancakes than fritters but taste was not bad. my husband went for the breakfast plank which is their version of big breakfast but overall he found it too salty. my son loved his scrambled eggs and toast and we definitely wouldn't mind coming back to try their lunch menu items.

popped over a brewer's tale awhile back. you gotta try the specially made - coconut cold brewed coffee. the zimbabwean cold coffee drip was served with ice and fresh coconut juice. 

for something cooler, hibiscus flower and orange iced tea is just yum!

loving the smashed avocado and pulled pork. served with quinoa, kale and sweet home made pineapple salsa, can't go wrong with a brewer's tale's signature dish, pulled pork. a little bit on the salty side, but it was well balanced with quinoa.

wandered here on a sunday morning. very quiet! we easily got a table .. a wobbly one though! honestly the table was on a huge slant too - so much so that my friend was worried that her bfast was going to end up on her!
the good was good but not as amazing as reviews had me hoping for! the portions were huge though!
i didn't rate the coffee...
a guy next to us ordered the muesli which looked so good. massivefoodenvy...

came to this cafe for a reunion after seeing lots of pictures on instagram. greatfoodand good customer service. the drinks are nice andfoodis aesthetic.

the presentation not only of the dishes but also the restaurant down to the themed menus was phenomenal. however, the service and thefoodwas not to the same standard. unfortunately, we had mixed up orders, were frequently asked who ordered a dish that no one on our table had ordered and the staff were noticeably under trained. myfoodwas average, but most sadly, unnecessarily oily. this took away from the taste of the dish. i ordered the zucchini fritters. other people at the table reported similar experiences with their dishes. i was also less than impressed with the coffee, mine was burnt. a few tweaks and some training and this place could really shine.

great ambience,foodand service at this darlinghurst cafe. i have nothing but praise for this venue.

the menu has a superb all day breakfast offering with plenty on the lunch menu to cover all bases. we enjoyed a salad bowl, one was the grilled chicken salad (grilled chicken, mixed salad, cherry tomato, lentils, potatoes, boiled eggs, olive oil, dukkah with balsamic dressing) and the other the super green salad (kale, smoked salmon, organic quinoa, cherry tomato, boiled egg, olive oil, pumpkin seeds, seasonal green vegetables with lemon capers dressing). both were fresh, delicious and satisfying.

the staff here are really on the ball,foodlooks amazing, and it comes out relatively quick! the green tea latte is also a winner!

this stylish, funky cafe is a wonderful spot for breakfast and lunch . thefoodis absolutely delicious and there is an amazing choice on the menu. highly recommend the smashed avo, it bursts with flavour. the muesli is a fresh summers dish and the salmon rush is a good substitute if you do not feel like bread as it is served on hash browns. the coffee is wonderful and the service is outstanding. all in all a wonderful experience!!!

i've been wanting to go to this cafe for a while - the beautiful pictures on instagram have been calling me. the cafe is adorable. it had bench seats, tables and very comfortable cushions. it is beautifully styled with old suitcases, pretty cushions, pot plants, bird cages with chandeliers.
the menu is super cute - like a photo book. the drinks menu is large with milkshakes (including cookies and cream and coconuts caramel), iced drinks, special lattes, cold drip (single origin), acai smoothies, fresh juices, superfoodsmoothies, organic tea and iced tea. i got the 'super c' which is orange, pineapple and apple'. it was nice and fresh and came out super quick.
for the breakfast options there's so many nice sounding options like matcha hot cakes, brioche french toast or the amazing looking black sesame porridge. there's also big meals like smashed avo, eggs benedict, zucchini and green pts fritters, ricotta stuffed field mushrooms and a breakfast plank. i got the green breakfast bowl which is organic quinoa, male, haloumi, poached eggs, baby spinach, asparagus, avocado, mushrooms, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, pesto and lemon. what a healthy amazing meal! i'd love to come back sometime for some more breakfast choices. i love that they also sell breakfast all day.
lunch options are served from 11:30 and there are pastas, sandwiches, pulled pork, beef burgers, grilled salmon and a vegetable stack. i also got a green tea matcha latte - the latte art wasn't as i had hoped but the flavour was on par. the staff were absolutely divine. super friendly and great service.
