24/7 - the lalit ashok bangalore

this is a great place for occasional meets. i have been with a person for a business talk and ambiance is just ideal. the continental menu is very limited but can be made for you by letting know.

one of those simplistic but high end restaurants where you can stop by any time for a bite to eat. be it a buffet, snacks or just a burger, they deliver quality for what they charge you. the service staff are professional and courteous. its a nice place to try.

a very good variety of food and even better taste. a nice ambience and no parking problem as there is valet. it is more expensive than other places but is still worth it.

the breakfast buffet was good. lots of options. however we visited this place recently for coffee. the cappuccino (350++) was 1/4th of the cup - just one gulp . the latte was one big cup, taste poor though. the south indian filter coffee had undissolved powdered milk.
dessert menu never reached the table to try anything. the absolute worst part of the coffee experience was the tableware ..coffee being served in blue , orange and yellow coffee mugs !!
i thought maybe our coffees got switched with the coffees of their staff. because there is no way a prestigious 4/5 star hotel will serve coffee in those ordinary mugs. no teapots. no cup and saucer.
white plastic side plates and multi colored mugs. not even a cookie accompanies the coffee..

you expect fancy coffee, you get worse than bachelor pad coffee mugs!!

wanted to try the brunch today at lalit and it was a special occasion. so had planned to tryout. went to the hotel and met the legend 👨‍🍳 chef ashish sanyal. he guided us what’s their best and which is more healthy for us. the food taste was just yummy 😋 no doubt and the service is an excellent value for this place. the restaurant was almost full with few celebrity and politicians but still the way the service was handled was awesome.

chef 👨‍🍳 ashish sanyal was not well i guess he had met with an accident. praying for his speedy recovery but a gem at this place to take care of his guests with his tons of talent.

the variety of salads were so many that couldn’t try all of them. but super it was.

the 🍮 desserts were endless. the tastes were so wow that had to take it twice.....

great place to hangout with friends & family , but only the price is a bomb but it is worth it for the food and the best part is , it is open 24 hrs what else do you want !! the desserts are amazing and creative

so this was an unexpected visit on a sunday for dinner. the buffet spread looked very interesting but definitely could taste better.
the starters were nice and made fresh. special mention for the paneer and fish.
moving to the main course the dishes were quite ordinary. nothing stood out to make you want a second serving. the prawn preparation/ dish of the day was nice and also the tenderloin in black sauce. biryani quite average and so were the other indian dishes.
the desert section was a let down as the pastries had loads of variety but tasted quite ordinary. the staff also seemed quite disinterested except for one man who was trying hard to cater to about four tables.
over all an ordinary experience that lacked the five star feel.

this place is one of the luxurious place in bangalore. do have a visit here to get an experience of fine-dine with friendly staff to quench your appetite with their great buffet.

very good ambience. the food is quite delicious but it's very expensive even for a 5star hotel. do try the continental cuisine though. it's the first place i have seen holding with 24/7 open timings.

personally i didn’t like the taste of the food here
variety of vegetarian dishes are really less
the pet brunch is just boiled chicken and water
service is the best though
i like the live music they have here
i really loved the desserts they had here be it the cakes or candies or the marshmallows

absolutely shambolic service with the restaurant taking over 45-50 minutes to serve the most basic orders. horrific experience. wouldn't expect this from any restaurant let alone a so called five star

the packaging cost more than the food

went for the sunday brunch. good ambience. well maintained. chaats and pasta in live counter. the veg spread is sumptuous. a special mention for the strawberry yogurt and dahi vada. the dessert section , gulab jamun and mousse , yummy. definitely 5 star. costs 1770 all inclusive per person.
