24/7 - the lalit ashok bangalore

lovely food, good to see north indian food options in south , didnot expected that much of verietes but got that , and even if its not in the menu chef pinaki willingness to serve the guest is really appreciated. whichever food outlet i visit i just find him there. he is really an assests to the hotel.

well, this place is not a restaurant but a cherishing experience in itself. it has strategically isolated itself and maintained the solitude as aligned with theme of romance and mystique.

ambience :- the place gets everything right the decor is relaxed chic luxury, romantic, intensely private and serene. depends which area you choose whole place is divided into many diff.

we are always on the lookout for new experience.
be it with our food, ambience or drinks.

food :- they have excellent open buffet. we started with some assorted fresh bread butter, than enjoyed the fresh vello tomato salad, egg and tuna salad, than we tasted few starters. than we have some main course with dal , mix veg, with different kind of pickles. we tasted biryani as well and finish with some fabulous desserts like strawberry roll, sweet perval and opera cake. all food are touch my heart

drinks :- we didn't ordered many drinks.
we tried orange blossom, basil fusion and oko fusion. drinks as well are nice balance of mixing.

service :- this is the most important part for me.
i really appreciate mr. ajay verma. he is very attentive, friendly , polite and very courteously.
he explained about all food and drinks such a great words.

if you really wanted to waste your money, go to this place. throwing your money in dustbin or paying for buffet in this restaurant both are same. i took my cousin to this restaurant for a lunch buffet, not even a single dish was tasty. such a worst food i have ever tasted in star hotel. not even deserve a single star.  i have no idea where did they find the mocktail, i should have run after drinking it. i never recommend this restaurant even to my enemy if he is going to eat food there. waste of time and money.

i asked the chef to taste the fish he cooked, which was actually smelling very bad or malodorous. no sea food option, live starter was really disgusting. there was a main course called briyani, if you eat you wont feel it is briyani, the only way for you to identify it by reading it in the label. 

food really sucks.

i have been to this place for sunday brunch and they have excellent food and service here
especially they desserts are really good !
and staff here is damn good and just love way serve me today !

we ordered for 2 chicken & corn chowder soup [475each] and 2 tranche of norwegian salmon[1350(one)] , there was only one salmon available so we ordered for the lalit club sandwich[850] and then the soup arrived it was irrelevant to the soup which it was listed in the menu it was like a tomato soup and it tasted the same like it was watery tomato soup and it didn’t have any chicken pieces in it so we sent it back he bought the same soup with chicken pieces in it i wish i had taken a photo of it to share it with you guys and then salmon arrived which was good i have no complaints on it but the club sandwich it was cold and it had no lettuce and the chicken was not grill chicken it was mentioned in the menu that it is grilled chicken but it had some small chicken pieces in it after all this we asked for the bill and i had the zomato gold 1+1 it is clearly listed that the 2nd highest amount on the bill can be applied so i asked him to apply it on the club sandwich since it was 2nd highest in the bill but they say no sir you can’t apply you didn’t order the main course first u ordered soup and then main course of course i have to drink the soup first i can’t drink it after i eat the main course what dumb people are working in this restaurant. please guys don’t visit this 24/7 cafe you will have the worst experience we just paid the bill amount and left from that place never gonna go there again one of the worst restaurant in the hotel.

“ordinary” kind of sums this place up. buffet spread is really limited having minimal variation. pita bread was stale and chewy. chicken was overcooked. all in all a bad experience.

if i have to ever go for a buffet its 24/7 at lalit ashok. the spread has a lot of variety, service is good and food is delicious!! money's worth

we had lunch buffet there..
the lunch buffet spread was well arranged and the variety they had was fabulous.
their lunch had almost all the common varieties of meat you can think of.
unlike other few restaurants of their standards, 24/7 has all the varieties, but the same meat or vegetable won't repeat too much.
they had alfresco dining available and the place had good breeze all the time.
the nature of the staff was okay.

we visited lalit for last night’s dinner. review only for veg food.

ambience: we asked for outdoor seating. this is the only restaurant in lalit that has the pool view and hence perfect ambience. 5/5.
service: the staff treated us well. no complaints.
food: the spread was really good. great mocktail,
tasty chaats, and salads to begin with.
the only veg starter was the tandoor phal which was decent. they had a live pasta counter and we ordered pink pasta: no where what we got was close to the ones
i have had in other places, it was very bland and not tangy at all.
the roti subzi was good too: no complaints. the rice was corn pulao which was very good.
dessert: the dessert section looked very eye catchy but only the rasmalai was tasty. i did not like the chocolate and the rainbow cakes. the raspberry panna cotta could have been avoided.
overall: 3.5/5

fine dining. one of the best buffets i have had in bangalore. worth the price. exotic starters, the main course and dessert too. nothing to complain about. calm ambience and friendly staff.

went there as a party of 6 on my recommendation after seeing the favorable reviews looking forward to partake of a grand buffet.
the spread for vegetarians far surpassed the spread laid out for non veg lovers and was also quite good.
the buffet is definitely well-priced ! the waiters were very friendly and attended to our needs.

also we were bothered by mosquitoes and flies which was a big let down.
overall, we had an amazing experience and it just completed our day on a very high note.

i had been here for a dinner buffet the spread was really great and desserts were amazing!!!(my favourite part of the meal😁) their strawberry lemonade was awesome i had 2,3 glasses of it. starters were pretty amazing tooo i loved the fish. and one thing to be appreciated is that almost all the dishes were keto and diet friendly and they had mentiond them i thought it was

came here late night, the service staff was not courteous and turned our request to be seated outside. we ordered our club sandwich and burger, the sandwich but the burger was subpar.

over my 2 days stay at the lalit ashok i had a chance to experience the breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet.

the breakfast buffet is pretty good. it has a salad section, continental and a south indian section and a small dessert section.

the lunch somehow isn't that great. it's decent enough. the cold cut meat section isn't covered so you could find bugs on it which is not at all expected from a star hotel. the indian dishes were good.

the dinner was good both the days. the starters were delicious and all other dishes were pretty much good for value.

nice cozy ambiance , peace full pool view for buffet is the plus for 24/7, i was here for dinner buffet on weekday with my family. food spread was lavish from salad, staters, juice, breads, chats and desserts. but still i felt bit less. service was slow and needs attention to customer queries.
