the only thing that was good was the salad section. the starters, grills, pizza, and main course were pretty average. so was the live music.

desserts were okay, but they were too late. the experience had already been ruined.

disappointed. not worth the money. not recommended.

this is a great exotic place. as per name is very expensive but nice for some small business talks and meeting. we had a evening coffee and some snacks. the onion pakoda was good so was the chicken grill sandwich. the service is bit slow which is a disappointment.

went here to celebrate my special someone's birthday. i had booked a cabana dinner and the ambience was amazing. it was a secluded place with a private butler, songs and a cozy set up next to the pool.
what i found not up to the mark was the food. the taste could have been better. but the birthday cake i ordered was just delicious.
overall a good place to spend a romantic dinner. it's a different experience and an improvement in food quality will gain a 5 star.

i don't want to give it even 1 star.. people working here don't have etiquette to talk to people coming to their hotel.. just because my umbrella was little broken i was told by an official "c'mon this is a 5-star hotel.." tell him to be professional.

this was the second time we tried this place for weekend breakfast. it blends a perfect combination of a beautiful n quiet decor, a good spread of multiple things and a pleasant service. they do justice with all south indian stuff be it dosa, vada, idly, tomato rice etc but when it comes to chola bhatura it was not even ordinary. rest all of their stuff like sandwich, omlette, yoghurt, dessert, juices, poha was good and makes its worth to visit this place again and again. the spread is sufficient enough to keep you busy for couple of hours and you won't think of anything which is missing. if you are keen for a classy weekend breakfast, this is surely an amazing option!!!

terrible food. sorry, but there are no better words to describe it. we went for dinner, out of the 4 live starters, 2 (fish & mushroom) were bearable. in the main course, the prawns biryani clearly lacked prawns, but at least the rice was tasty. rest everything was stale. two people in our group fell sick the next morning. it takes the servers at least 15 minutes to get breads to go with the food. dessert, especially the cakes tasted like they were at least 2 days old.

had been there for breakfast on saturday morning. it has 2 seating options. one is the ac part and the other is open facing the pool and quite a garden type of sitting. it had a great ambience with perfect light and the atmosphere was great.
we preferred seating outside. coming to the food. bakery items, cold cuts fruits and juices were great. they had a flavor of everything in bakery and juices. there was flavored yogurt kept in a big bowl. it would be great if it would have been in small quantities. juices and cold cuts were as usual. to the mains they had a lot of south indian food. was expecting more towards continental but it wasn't. dint try anything new or specific. we ordered pan cake with maple and chocolate syrup and it was amazing. perfectly soft and fluffy with he syrup they were just amazing.
my wife ordered a cheese dosa with regular tea and i ordered a chilli cheese omlette with hot chocolate.
the dosa was a bit thick could have been thin and crispy. omlette still needed to be cooked for a couple of min more.
mr. santosh if i'm not wrong really took care of the serving and requirement. he took all the extra effort to make things available.
over all a good place. should visit at least once for food.

breakfast review : i found myself reaching to the same things on all five days of my stay. i stuck to food from the live counters. dosa, uttapam, and idli was staples. sambhar was below average. the chutneys taste good but they are cold-straight out of the fridge. i did not have the baked goods and open sandwiches. the service is quick. the live station for eggs and pancakes is fast. i enjoyed the english breakfast with eggs made to order. green tea finally to finish up the meal.

i went here to have some evening snacks during my stay. service was poor. ordered bhajiya and kiddie chicken burger. i believe the burger gave me a stomach bug soon after my meal. bhajiyas weren't hot enough and the chutney served was cold. off-putting.

a typical coffee shop in a business hotel that’s open through the day and serves food across the day!
nothing really exceptional about the place but of course being in bangalore the south indian spread of idli’s, dosas and more are clearly something you must indulge in
it has a number of festivals of food regularly going on and the current north indian festival called paratha festival is worth a try and the chefs brought in from there!
try and sit out at the cafe overlooking the greens and the lush pool to breathe a bit of green air!

if you are a foodie like me, you will understand the most delicious food in any city you must have tried will be from the eateries in small streets and from the by-lanes. when it comes to street food, the first place comes to my mind will be the old streets of delhi and 'parathe wali gali'. i haven't traveled to the capital city but from the food stories and tv shows, this place is very familiar. inspired by the concept of delhi street food, 24/7 by the lalit ashok is having a festival, 'parathe wali gali' from 19th -28th jan 2018. my first luncheon this year and i was so happy to visit one of my favorite hotels in bangalore.

my friend, nishita and i loved the overall setup at the hotel for this festival. the alfresco seating area next to the brunch counter is really cool especially to spend time on a lazy weekend afternoon. as part of this festival, they have introduced 15 types of parathas (parantha,  as they may call it)  and out of which 9 are veg parathas.

the staffs at the hotel are friendly, helpful and polite. one of the staffs, mr. madan helped us in selecting the dishes and we ordered the following parathas:
•    makhuni sattu paratha
•    dal hing paratha
•    mutton kheema paratha
•    samundari khazana paratha

paratha thali had the following accompaniments - aloo tamatar rassa (potato gravy), matka curd, white butter, sirka pyaaz (pickled shallots), mirchi fry (fried chilli), chena burada (in common) and kaddu chokka for veg paratha and meat gravy for non-veg paratha. chef abhishek explained us each dishes and upon his suggestion, we tried the kele (banana) ki chutney which was simply amazing. parathas were so damn delicious that we finished it off within short time along with a glass of lassi. the richness of paratha, tastiness of the stuffing and authentic flavors from the accompaniments made the right combo. each paratha was created to perfection and if i need to choose any one which stood out, then it’s the samundari khazana paratha for its unique masaladar seafood stuffing.

by the time we finished our lunch by enjoying a poolside view, it was almost tea time. they had a chai tapri (tea stall) and a lovely lady prepared ‘garma garam (piping hot) cutting chai for us and it was served in the traditional way.
