food is terrible. never eat here. just ordered pretzel bites and they are scorched. how do you mess up pretzel bites? also my guest's burger is not good. the bun is rock hard and the fries are soggy. go somewhere else!

best sunday session in town!. 1410 has become our favorite hangout, hands down, day or night, in this city. they always have great servers (ask to sit in nora's section!), awesome management that make sure you're looked after, and delicious food. crowd is always fun whether you're there for lunch or to dance the night away... it's such a good vibe (especially on sundays!!!). if you're looking to meet new people, try some foreign beer or watch the game and haven't been to 1410 yet, you're seriously missing out!

fries!!!. i live a block or so away but have really just been in for the cheap pizza tuesdays- which are great- but today partner and i had lunch. pico burgers, split a great caesar salad, and it was all good (including the erdinger weiße) but oh man the high point were those fries- holy christmas, just amazing amazing fries. i could have eaten a bucket.

i was thrilled to see that for lunch the music is chill and not deafening and the crowd isn't douchebag meathead. nice neighbourhood pub for grownups. i'll be back- many times.

great lunch!. had a recent christmas party lunch here and the appetizers and main course (world burger) was awesome. you get large portions here so make sure to come hungry.

my friend came to visited, we decided to have lunch here and oh my. it was all so good, we had the baked brie, beef dip and that spicy burger (pico burger?), i was so pleasantly surprised when my waitress told me we get two sides to our dishes. normally, i am the kind to eat everything on my plate, but this place kicked my ***. i was a little nervous of coming back here because the last time. i came here with my buddy to get wings, our waitress forgot out dip and we could never find her. when we were done eating, it take us half an hour to leave cause she didn't come back to check on us. but my second visit made me fall in love, especially because i discovered that there is such thing as "das boot"!

new menu!. new menu featuring organic options, fantastic! large portions, the three of us couldnt finish even half our nachos, burger had brie and frizzled onions on a pretzel bun, d-lish! service was a little slow but we didnt mind. great selection of beer, pumpkin beer was amazing.

food is always great & they will make alterations if you request. service is awesome too except for a few instances. this place is a regular for us.

needs to step it up. the burgers are awesome - love the pretzel buns. the other things i have tried on the menu have been underwhelming - the heirloom tomato salad lacked acidity and the tomatoes did not taste like heirloom to me at all. the strawberry turkey wrap was so-so, nice concept and i liked that the turkey was real and not processed, but it was a little dry - more sauce needed. the spinach salad was flavourless and also dry. the mushroom soup is rich and creamy but could use more herbage to add a nicer flavour. thyme or rosemary please!

service has been borderline rude on one occasion - manager notifed - and the lack of beer knowledge was appalling for people who work in a beer house. the server tried to tell us an ipa was the same thing as a lager- what?? similar lack of knowledge would never fly in a wine bar, but is somehow acceptable with beer? overall, i would maybe go back for the burgers and to give the service another chance, but for a market crowded with great beer halls (bottlescrews, wurst) this place needs to step up its game.

ever made love to a burger?. wow!! as far as i'm concerned, there are three things that are important in a burger: taste, toppings, and sides. and this is exactly why 1410 has hit this one out of the park! the taste and flavor of the patty is amazing, and comes grilled to perfection. all of the different burger options comes with perfectly matched toppings. and with your choice of 2 different sides....i'm not kidding this is a burger you will make love to!

i always love going to 1410 for the best beers in town & pretty good wings. unfortunately other than that the food is pretty darn awful. the service great, the atmosphere is lively & fun. food no good : (

there is definitely a reason the place gets busier and busier as time goes by. one of the managers, peter-paul, made sure our experience was perfect and it really was!! i will be going back often!!

wunderbar. been meaning to have some cocktails here for awhile and i'm afraid it's going to be a staple stop whenever we're in calgary. we had a great waitress who was able to recommend a tasty cocktail for me because i don't drink beer but my date loves trying out new ones. the drinks were delicious and i wish we had given ourselves more time to spend there. it seems a great place to while away an afternoon with great conversation over some drinks. very hospitable service, looking forward to our next visit.

excellent. i've been going to this bier haus since it first opened and must say that the food and service is excellent (95% of the time anyway).

the beer is tasty and varied (especially for a connoisseur), though pricey (but its to be expected for the kind of beer that they serve).

the majority of their food menu items are also consistently prepared well, such as the beef/bison 1410 world burger, chicken alfredo pasta and the heart smart chicken. the price point is reasonable as well.

there have been instances where the service was bad, but those servers don't tend to stay there for very long.
