1410 bier haus

i enjoy the room, have been going there for a long time since it was a much smaller space with no roof top patio. the service is good, the food is consistent.

i had a store down the street and used to get the staff brunch to share on saturdays. it is one of my go to patio places on my patio tours in the summer. the food is good, love the burgers wine night is a good night to go, it is a busy place most of the time.

went for yyc pizza week - pizza was tasty - all ingredients were present & nicely distributed. flatbread crust was fresh & pizza held together well. however, wings were all salt, zero pepper & restaurant was understaffed. (3/5)

i love the thursday buck a shuck! along with there different choice of beers!!! i am a regular here and am happy to keep coming back and recommend them to everyone! only down side is that they run out of oysters very quickly

came here with a girlfriend for wing night. it was so hot out so sat on their rooftop patio. the bartender there, tyler, is great. super friendly and nice. makes a good drink. their wings have very good flavour, though are in the small side. for 35 cents each though i can't complain. the music was a bit loud and was hard to hear at times, but overall was a good experience.

great roof top patio! the food is average pub food. i've usually visited to sit either at their street level
patio which is on the sunny side of the street or on their roof top patio.

decent sports bar. tonnes of tv's, good beer selection, and good food. i love the fajitas! the location is great and they're always airing the game. call ahead for reservations when it's a big game; ask for a view.

yesterday two friends and i went to 1410 to enjoy a late lunch and a few patio drinks. our food was enjoyable but the service was outstanding! all three of us have been in the industry for over 5 years and i cannot recall a time where my service was better. our server jillian was fantastic. she was friendly and attentive and when she spotted a deviation (that was completely out of control of the establishment and the staff) she immediately sent over a manager. manager ashton quickly dealt with the issue and went to extra lengths to ensure we enjoyed our experience far beyond what was necessary or expected.

our entire experience was memorable and enjoyable. the rest of the staff was friendly and created a welcoming and fun atmosphere. i would highly recommend 1410 to anyone who wants to have a great experience in a fun atmosphere!

arrived thursday night to meet some friends for buck a shuck night.  for a beer house, they didn’t have an extensive menu in comparison to the craft restaurants that are available and i would describe 1410 more like your neighborhood pub.

while our waitress was friendly, she didn’t provide the best service.  the chef/cook came out of the kitchen to serve us our oysters and the manager was taking our orders throughout the night because we didn’t know where our server was. 

there were only two kinds of oysters – west or east coast but for $1/oyster, you really can’t complain.  thursdays is also $13 burger nights and we tried the world class and the spolumbo’s italian pork burgers. the world class burger was a bit dry whereas the pork burger was slightly spicy but delicious.  i would not say these burgers were worth their regular price of  $19 and $17 though.

we met some friends at 1410 around 6pm. the patio was a bit narrow. the waitress that was originally serving our friends was really rude and seemed like she hated her job. thankfully we had another waitress who was patient and friendly.

we wanted some munchies and the sweet potato fries stood out to me. served with 3 dips, their house dip was the addicting one! the perogies were decent sized but quite pricey $13 + $3 for bacon. calamari weren't greasy but nothing too special either.

good atmosphere to hang out. they play the music quite loud so it's quite lively. one other thing to be aware about is the panhandlers approaching you alongside the patio.

went in on saturday which is ladies night... no complimentary champagne. false advertising. spent over $100 on my own bill so they should at least not have false advertising. asked about it and was told sometimes they don't do it. i should go to service alberta about the false advertising or bait and switch.

horrible place. same bad experience as banks listed below. place was 3/4 empty for brunch on a weekend a couple weeks ago. after waiting for a few mins at the front no one seated us, so we seated ourselves, with someone who i think was management in an untucked dress shirt just staring at us. took 10 mins to get someone to even serve us and staff who kept constantly walking back and forth. not sure what they were doing as there was no food being brought or drinks. we were there for over 2 hours and never got a water refill, both were finished within minutes of us getting water, no coffee refill, our empty plates stayed there. we only saw our server 2x. once when she took our order then 2 hours later when we finally caught her eye to flag her down to get our bill. 

this is the same brutal service we've experienced a few times now. we will not be going back, the management obviously doesn't/can't train their staff or care about their reputation or service. many other better services places to go and spend our money.

awesome patio!!! we had the curry chicken, pulled pork sandwich with fries and ceased salad. i really enjoyed the curry and the pulled pork was alright. there could have been more pork on the sandwich the service was good. will be back to the patio for sure.

recently i celebrated my birthday with a weekend food extravaganza. saturday lunch i took my wife on a food tour i set for us along 17th ave. i looked up a few places to try and 1410 bier haus was one of them. i love the big windows opening out onto the street as it opens the place up and lets loads of light in.   the point of all the stops i chose for the mini tour was to try places we might want to go back to eat at a later date.  with this in mind we ordered a couple of craft beers and an appetizer. service was great and with a smile, our drinks and calamari came out quite fast. now i love my calamari and it quite often gets overcooked. this one was perfect, so tender. loved it.the beers were great, they have a huge selection if you're a beer lover.  excellent experience would like to go back and try more. thanks 1410 bier haus.

hey guys, guys i pretty much just got here and was approached by "some guy" really weird hey? anyways he seated us at a table so i'm guessing he works here but not 100% on that. hey lots of beer served in cups made out of glass, that's sweet. also the menu has as many chooses but no self serve fountain pop. not a big deal, the manager is probly cheap. when to the washrooms sweet to see the dividers up between futuristic urinals. took pic, guy got mad, must have thought i was a detective or something. lots of girls walking around dressed the same and one keeps talking to me so that's totally awesome. i'm the only one wearing a red shirt so that's original. wings are wicked sweet too. guys come try this especially if you a girl.
