the best everything!. there is not one thing on the menu that will not totally knock your socks off. this is the best place to get lunch in savannah hands down. not only is the food incredible and unique, but the service and the staff are friendly and generous! johnny is a big supporter of the local savannah music scene as well and has put on local music events in the parking lot of zinzi's. we love zunzi's very much and strongly recommend you eat there.

great grab and go. the hummous was excellent... floral scent, with a great mix of herbs and spices. we also had a salmon wrap. the mix of sauces made it well above par. however, the salomon was a bit overdone and dry, it could have been better if it was dripping its own fat into the pita bread. we also had spaghetti marinara. this was a very authentic item, with a sweet sauce and fresh oregano. the pasta was al dente. for my taste, i would prefer a bit of dried chilli. i am heading back to get a bucket of hummous to take home!!!!

we really enjoyed our huge and delicious sandwiches for lunch today. i got the conquistador and my husband got the godfather. we both thought they were delicious! the meat is juicy and tender, the sauces are fabulous. the unique spice blend was a refreshing change from the norm. and i love the tea. you must try their tea!!

we ate on the rooftop and it was beautiful. great atmosphere & friendly people. gina was our server & she rocked! food's awesome too!

great stop. zunzi s take out has the best sandwiches! the portions are huge and you can split one sandwich! great lunch spot!

my family and i went here because it was one of those savannah places that was mentioned in just about every article related to food. the staff was super friendly, and they provided multiple samples for my entire family. the chicken salad sample was delicious, but in the end, we ordered 4 godfathers and 1 fisherman’s deck. sandwiches and meat inside are generous portions, and don’t expect a clean eating experience! not sure what shit yeah sauce is, but we all loved it!

maybe we had to much expectation of the place. everyone said was a great place with best sandwiches in state.
is a small place where you buy the food and then go outside to eat them. (tables, chairs and umbrellas next) but with 95 degrees was too much.
the sandwich was good but not outstanding ... maybe too spicy. and really spicy for kids.
beer was not to cold ...
so was not the beat place in savannah ..

this is one of my favorite restaurants, not just in savannah, but anywhere. there is always a long wait, but that wait is worth it. alongside the charisma of the workers, who love to provide you with "shit yeah" stickers and popsicles, the food itself is great.

overall, i would recommend going with either the godfather or conquistador. those are their two main staples and really give you a feel for what to expect. the flavors of both lack a specific definition, outside of "delicious." this is the must stop place in savannah to eat, especially if you're on a budget.

love the vibe, our server jane was awesome, the food is great change of pace from a lot of other places in savannah. well worth the trip!!!

the south african tea is awesome, and we love the house sauces. whether you get your food on a roll or on a bed of rice, it's been great either way for us.

falafals are outstanding! conquistador sandwich was delicious. tzatsiki sauce is the best ever. relaxed atmosphere but service is excellent.

shyeah! this place is awesome. great vibe great people great food. the godfather is amazing and couldn't ask for better. don't let the size fool you, we took the hour drive from hilton head south carolina two days in a row for this place and would do it again! sh#t yeah!

as far as a hole in the wall sandwich place this one takes the cake. the godfather sandwich was extremely good. it might have throned itself as number 1 favorite sandwiches in my book. this is a must to for a lunch place in savannah. just go.
