home cooking. i go to the zona fresca on university near 595 every couple of weeks. it's totally the best native mexican food i have had outside of mexico. clean, fresh, simple and honest food. get the chiles relleno. they're fire blackened crispy fresh peppers filled with creamy fresh cheese.

service is amazinglyfastand friendly.

the answer is yes. i was wondering how my favorite mexicanfastfood restaurant would do when a mexican chain restaurant opened up across the street. well i tried that place and this place is a winner. zona fresca is a great stand by. a great go to you. so if you want goodfastfood then go go go to zona fresca.

first time to zona, food was good and at an excellent price, not over-the-top but service wasfastand great, more than you expect at prices that low.

good service, but not very good. the servers were very attentive. they were knowledgable about the menu, and werefastwhen serving our food. i didn't like the food so much. some dishes were cold and anot od fresh....

fresh ingredients, good value but tasteless. yes, i know it's afastfood place. it does have fresh ingredients and represents a good, easy on the wallet vaule. my only problem with it is that for mexican, none of their food seems to have that unique zesty mexican flavor that is the hallmark of meixan dinning.

of course, it'sfastfood and not intended for fine dining! nachos are cooked on top of the stove, not under a broiler...interesting and tasty!

the 3 salsa selections at the salsa bar should please anyone!

great fresh mexican food. excellent,fastmexican food. very fresh. there are not many places like this in sfla, and many people there don't understand that there is more than one type of mexican food. the only con is that parking is a problem during lunch and dinner hours at hwy 1 location, no problem at plantation location.

zona fresca mexican, which translated means tasteless mexican food, is afastfood joint with aluminum pub tables and grossly inadequate parking. the food here is "fresh", as is the trend for some reason in south florida to mimic mexican food without any

mmmm. bestfastmex around. try the fish tacos with hot salsa. the ceviche on friday and saturdays is a great deal at 6.95. super friendly staff too!

fresh food fast. loved this place. everything is cooked fresh and they have a fab salsa bar. when you think offastfood, you wouldn't think of this place-it's no taco bell. try this place, you won't be sorry.
