home cooking. i go to the zona fresca on university near 595 every couple of weeks. it's totally the best native mexican food i have had outside of mexico. clean, fresh, simple and honest food. get the chiles relleno. they're fire blackened crispy fresh peppers filled with creamy fresh cheese.
service is amazingly fast and friendly.

not a great place for traditional mexican food but if you are a fan of places like chipotle or lime than you will be happy. the chilli rellenos are pretty great! the poblano peppers are stuffed jack and cheddar cheese served with black beans, cilantro rice and pico de gallo. it is a good mix and not too hot for the spicy-intolerant.

i was at the ft. lauderdale location—hollywood airport; the staff refused to give me a cup with a lid to put water in. in this time of struggle, the staff, including the manager, choose to be problematic instead of helpful. i’m very displeased.

everything seems very fresh. what we ordered all tasted very good. service was fast. the soup was tasty. quesadillas were awesome. wraps also great.

i have been here many times and have never been disappointed. the person who wrote a review saying the burrito want big enough has to be crazy as the burritos make a meal for 2, which indo on many occasions. fresh salsa bar is wonderful and a far better experience than chipotle across the street. plus on friday and saturday they have fresh ceviche. m?

bang for buck. i frequent the lauderdale and plantation locations. i always get the steak burrito. there is always enough steak inside. i love that they give you a bag of nacho chips with your meal. the best thing about zf is the salsa bar it just compliments the meal. if you like to eat outdoors and check out the people i suggest lauderdale the outdoor tables are always buzzing with dinners. plantation has outdoor dinning but their atmosphere is nonexistent. keep up the good work.

this place is amazing!. my son and i tried this place based on reviews and price and we were not disappointed! the food was amazing from the chips all the way to the tacos and burritos. the guacamole is everything i say it is! and the people working here very friendly and nice. i highly recommend it.

good grub. i go to the lauderdale location and the plantation location and i love both i always get the steak burrito and it always please's. i love the salsa bar the hot salsa is my favorite its not to hot easy to eat. the diced tomatoes, and onion is very tasty. you can't go wrong with this place. bang for the buck. thanks zona fresca for being in business.
