zombie burger + drink lab

zombie burger is straight-up cool. although, there is not enough space and the wait is fairly long. in my opinion, it is a one time deal. when you walk in you see the amazing list of burgers and the exciting atmosphere. you walk out feeling like you ate the entire iowa state fair crammed into one burger. it is good for the first let's say three bites, after that you literally feel like a zombie.

poor layout/design plan. but good so far.

attention all vegetarians, finally a burger that is so amazing you won't miss the beef! also, fantastic service.

my group shared 4 different burgers. all really, really good. want an awesome burger? get a zombie burger.

fun place and great food. zombie burger did it all right.
a full bar with proper mixologists. service was friendly and reasonably fast considering how busy they are.
the buffalo bacon appetizer was terrific! a must.
i had the undead elvis just to try the strangest burger on the menu. tasted even better than i had hoped.
it is worth the wait, just get there early!

one stop place.. i want to like this place more... it's to small for starters. the whole layout can be confusing. the decor is fun to look at, it's truly unique. the burgers are good, but they're not amazing. the burger patty itself doesn't stand out and is lost with all the toppings. fries are bland. service is so-so.

disappointed. i took a friend, visiting from north dakota, to the cafe yesterday - and to check it out myself... the service was poor and the food mediocre. we had to remind our waitress that we'd ordered drinks and still needed to order our food. i had #3, the 28 day, with the chicken breast. the breast was cold, the fillings were scant and the size miniscule. my friend thought her burger was just "okay" too. i'm not sure what all the hype is about this place - i won't be going back. on a scale of 1 to 10, maybe a 3...the fries basket was full.

zobie burger + chili cheese fries to go. the burger was fantastic. the chili cheese fries left me wishing i just bought reg fries. chili cheese fries with no cheese!

not worth the wait. after a 45 minute wait we finally got our food. burgers were tasty and the fries were super salty. not worth all the hype and definitely not worth the wait.

good food!. tried zombie first time last evening. got there early - around 5 ish. got right in. hamburgers were fabulous...hand pattied and juicy. the fried green beans were to die for. crispy, light tempura batter made them irresistable! the fries were yummy as well. i can't wait to go again. need one on the west side!!

okay. nothing to write home about.

great food, still some logistic issues to work out. i've been her twice now, once on a friday evening at prime dining hours and once on a monday night after the to go side had closed. on the friday we had an hour and a half wait but we could leave and come back so we just went elsewhere to grab a drink and came back so i'm not sure why other people are getting so bent out of shape with the long waits. the service was spotty as it was overwhelmingly busy there for them so it took a while to get our food. once i took a bite of my burger i forgot about all that though. i had the fulci burger and it was amazing! the fried pickle chips i got with it were really great as well. i read in other reviews that they had been soggy but they seem to have fixed this issue. they were nice and crispy and the garlic ranch that came with them was great! it seems that they are working hard to hear critiques and fix them to make the best quality food possible and the prices are really reasonable imo. defiintely going to be back many more times

understaffed but only open for a month, so service issues should improve. still like it!

wait was too long. the actual burger was great, but the fried pickles were sorta limp and soggy. it took 45 minutes to get our food, and for what we got it was was too long. i did get one of the shakes and it was to die for. i'm going to go back most definitely, but i think i'll wait until they slow down.

good, but.... i like it, but i'm not sure it's worth the wait... i waited an hour for my burger. and the fries are horrible!
