nothing to rave about. when i arrived on a friday night at eight pm they said the wait was at least an hour and a half which i wasn't surprised by. so i ordered from the other side of the restaurant. i had the flame thrower which is essentially a normalburgerthere with buffalo sauce. there was little blue cheese or ranch. i ordered the small and it was plenty. it was alright but nothing to rave about. the fries were unimpressive however, i didn't really want to finish them. maybe worth a second change someday.

the preparation of the food does not match the exuberance of the menu. my seventh grader said theburgertasted like the school cafeteria. the bacon bits were plain disgusting. they tasted like undercooked fat, and made my daughter throw up. the breadin of the cheese curds was vaguely reminiscent of chicken fried steak, and the fries were served lukewarm. the coconut pie milk shake was incredibly smooth and balanced, and topped with a remarkably thick fresh whipped cream with the constancy of butter. however, pleasing the shake was, it was not worth the $30 we spent. don't waste your time and money coming here.

we ate at zombieburgerlast night after searching and searching for an open, downtown pizza shop. with 6 hungry kids in our group, driving past zombieburgerwas like finding a desert oasis. we were pleasantly surprised when we walked in-there was immediate seating on the counter side, pleanty of options for our healthy eaters (i had the small zombie salad-which was huge and delish), ourburgerofficianados (dawn of the dead and the one with guac-both fabulous) and the chicken strips and mac and cheese for the kids were huge hits! for our family of 5, we ate for under $30, and we're stuffed! only criticism was the wait for the food-that being said-i'd rather wait for freshly prepares food than getting setting that's been sitting under the lights for an hour. good food, fun downtown atmosphere, and most importantly: the kids were happy!

zombieburger+ drink bar got so many recommendations from locals to fellow out-of-towners on this trip and it’s easy to see why. theburgerwas fantastic and there were so many other combinations that i would have liked to try. zombieburgerwould be a main stay in my dining out rotation if there was one in kalamazoo and will be a must stop any time i’m in or passing through des moines in the future.

it was ok. the menu names were pretty creative. the view is somewhat nice i thought. the burgers were average but sat like a rock after we ate. the fries remind me ofburgerking with the coating. not bad when hot, but steadily worse and greasy as they cool. the beers on draft kicked a certain amount of ass! the wait staff was great and it seemed like they wanted to be there. not bad, but i don’t think i will be back for awhile. they didn’t hook me.

would love to go here again, as i think my first experience pulled me down. i went with my friend and her mom with my family, and walking inside it was packed. we had heard zombieburgerwas good, however, so we didn't mind the wait. we sat outside in the patio, which was very nice. the restaurant in a whole itself was decorated very cool; the atmosphere is very authentic and different (in a good way!). however we had to wait for a good hour and a half, maybe longer. getting our food, i wasn't extremely impressed - it wasn't bad, but felt people made it sound really good. i don't like burgers but my family does, and they weren't very impressed, either. our servers were patient and friendly, but the service was slow and food wasn't the best.

delicious food and amazing shakes! not many options for vegetarians (yes, it's aburgerplace, but my daughter doesn't like meat). the fries were supertastey. i had the crunch berries and cake shake. omg! don't think about the calories. come hungry. personally i avoided this place for awhile as zombies freak me out. the decor is cool, but personally i wasn't a fan. my family thought it was really fun. i would return for the food!

“zombies can't believe the energy we waste on nonfood pursuits.” ― patton oswalt, zombie spaceship wasteland. i had been waiting all week to try this unusually named place. we arrived right at 5pm on a friday and there was already a 30 to 45 minute wait. when we discovered we could almost immediately order at a counter and eat outside vs a long wait for full service, we opted for the counter route. it was a beautiful day and we luckily scored a table as soon as we walked outside. they called our number and we picked up and enjoyed our food.

i did my homework and knew i wanted to try aburgercalled they’re coming to get you barbara, aburgeron bread that was not a traditional bun, with caramelized onions, bacon and cheese. it was great. my one complaint is i got too much burger. you see, i saw the 3 sizes and the large size still seemed reasonably priced at about $12. turned out it was a triple pattyburgerand boy was that a lot of food. heavy and delicious, i finished it all. i never did find out what zombie sauce was. i washed myburgerdown with a zombie joe shake. this coffee flavored shake was another star.

because we ate outside i missed some of the ambiance of the dining room. we did see a couple of zombies by the order counter that looked scary. kudos for clever food names and for being so popular.

“this is the way the world ends; not with a bang or a whimper, but with zombies breaking down the back door.” ― amanda hocking, hollowland

come for the atmosphere, sit through a 40 minute wait, and stay for sub-quality food and mostly the hostess's ass. i wanted to like the food, i really did. i kept my spirits high during our 40 minute wait with two cranky kids that the food would be awesome; it was not. i ordered the dawn of the deadburgerwhich was something i could of gotten at anyburgerplace. my garlic bacon and blue cheese fries were actually inedible. i wish the food matched the awesomeness of the atmosphere, because it blew me away. in all honesty i'll probably go there again just to see if it maybe it was a bad night or just to hang out.

so sad!. the bugers are just pretty much kind sad. my experience last evening was soggy bun, lover ripe tomato, meat that had been cooked prior to me ordering it, very little blue cheese. i had the 28 days.
my friendsburgerwas about the same quality and the fries were cold and soggy. all i can say is what the heck???? i might as well of gone to mc ds

fan favorite or just tomuch. i love zombieburgeri go there almost everyday but it gets boring seeing the same waiters in the same outfits every single day! i think they should have zombie costumes on and walk around like the undead they're suppose to be! i do recommend to eat their there root bear floats were to die for! i also loved their famous zombie burger!
