amazing and innovative.zenforrest is by far our favorite fine dining restaurant in the area. the chef is so creative and innovative, and the ingredients used are top quality. every meal we have ever had atzenforrest has been excellent--from the most tender and flavorful filet dishes and fresh seafood to sumptuous desserts like asparagus and pistachio gelato. appetizer choices like tuna and avocado tartare, pot stickers, escargot and mussels never disappoint. the sauces are always interesting and flavorful. for innovative cuisine, consistently fresh quality food, great service and good value, there is no better choice. reservations are pretty much needed on the weekends, which speaks volumes in this economy.

spouse and i enjoyed a superbly scrumptious 7-course winter tasting menu. the food and service here are first rate; this was one of the top ten meals we've eaten in our (~60yr) lifetimes! each course was meticulously prepared; everything tasted 'made-to-order'---the tender-crisp vegetables and salads were all very fresh and the meats and seafood were cooked to perfection and exquisitely seasoned, which kept the experience fascinating. portions were ample but never overwhelming, permitting all 7 courses to be savored. our server, katerina, was very friendly, attentive, and efficient. the courses were well paced (~2 hrs.) and we never felt hurried nor neglected. the tasting menu changes seasonally, but we are happily willing to eat whatever this gifted chef is serving! went tozenforest to get their pho which was rated very high. they quit serving it as of 12/22/14 therefore we were quite disappointed. we decided to stay and eat and we're glad we did. the food was beautifully presented and very pleasant to the palate. will certainly go back to try something else from their nice menu selection.

amazing food!. i have been tozenforrest numerous times. the food is amazing and the atmosphere is fantastic. the servers are very knowledge of the cuisine and very attentive. i have dietary regulations (diabetic and especially when i was pregnant) and they are always willing to assist me with my substitutions or to offer recommendations. their monday pho is to die for!!! call ahead to make sure you can get it...sells out fast. theirzenforrest & cuban rolls are my favorites. definitely a gem in trinity!!!

perfect night. my husband and i visitzenforest when a special occasion comes up, knowing the small restaurant with big taste will make the night perfect. we recommend this restaurant to everyone and we always buy gift certificates for the ones we love most!

best asian fusion. i have been eating regularly atzenforrest for almost 10 years now. it truly deserves a 100%. i have never been disappointed here.

the staff is so amazing, service is top notch every time. the atmosphere is so relaxing, laid back, with décor that say simply sophisticated.

everything is fresh fresh fresh. whether you order an old favorite like sesame or orange chicken, to the fried rice, steak, salads or fish. everything is full of flavor. flavors from all over asia, you can see where your favorite dish is authentically from. the knowledge of flavors and spices here always throw even me for a loop. with new specials and rotating seasons on the food, beers, wines and deserts you can truly have a new amazing experience each time you go.

zen forrest has a clear concept of healthy foods with oodles of flavor. re-training dead palates of america, this entire restaurant clearly has a passion for food. until next time, live:love:eat

i beg the runners ofzenforrest to make a place for the pork belly and kalbi somewhere on the normal menu. i think you have the food equivalent to blue sky meth in your kitchen. my head is starting to twitch and my skin is already beginning to itch. i’m going to need another fix before too long.

i kicked off the month of february by taking a drive up to new port richey to have lunch with my friend jodi, aka tampa wine woman, atzenforrest .  after hearing so much about their exquisite cuisine that is both delicious and healthy, i was anxious to take the 45 minute drive from south tampa. we met for lunch just before 1 pm on a friday afternoon and my meal clearly exceeded my expectations. located at 4148 rowan rd in new port richey,zenforrest  is a culinary gateway to china, japan, korea, thailand, vietnam, hong kong, taiwan and malaysia. many dishes are a fusion of both international and american flavors, thus creating exotic dishes with incredible flavors. more than just a local favorite, zenforrest  has fans all over the tampa bay area that are willing to drive more than an hour for chef victor wang’s incredible cuisine. we started off withzenforrest rolls which consist of sautéed minced chicken and a medley of vegetables wrapped in an egg roll shell accompanied by the

hidden treasure. i live about one hour fromzenforrest and i have to say every time i have gone it has been worth the drive. the staff there is always so friendly and accommodating. the service is friendly and efficient. also, the chef and owner are very hands on, always kind and willing to talk with you when their schedule allows.
the food is amazing. chef victor has such a range of cooking skills. they have special monthly dinners where chef dazzles us with everything from french cuisine to traditional northern china cuisine. they also have a great beer and wine list and the staff is well trained and able to offer suggestions when it comes to pairings.
i really can't say enough good things about zen. if you are in the area you must go. if you are not in the area you still must go! it will be worth the trip.

tasty dumplings!. another wonderful visit tozenforrest. it is simply the best food i have had in the new port richey area. as always, service was top notch, the food was tasty and portions large (i had to take some home). to review, for an appetizer, i had gradma's potstickers, pan seared. the dumplings themselves were very flavorful and the dipping sauce sublime. the shells were cooked just right and not overdone. this was followed by pork lo mein. i have had a very hard time finding good pork lo mein anywhere and i have been to a lot of sit down places. as usual, it was excellent and this is the only place i would recommend to have it. the sauce was so yummy--the pork was cooked to perfection and i love fresh bean sprouts--who doesn't? as always, i have a pot of the lychee tea. anyone who has had loose tea cannot abide a tea bag, and i love that this restaurant uses fresh, loose tea. finally, for desert--pistachio cheesecake. it was light and had an interesting flavor (in a good way). it wasn't too heavy the way cheesecakes can sometimes be, and was sufficiently creamy.

i have never had a bad experience here and having been to the finest restaurants in the northeast (new york city and philadelphia), i have to say, this is the closest i can find to compare.

the atmosphere is very calming and welcoming, and the food tastes great! the ingredients are always fresh, so you always know you're getting quality with every bite!
