it is a small cozy place in khadki that you wouldn’t even notice at first but they serve really amazing food, if you love food of the mountains like thukpa, momos then you should not miss this place. must try their thukpa, momos and chocolate pie dessert.

a small, beautiful and cosy themed restaurant. as we hail from northeast we are die hard fan of noodles & dumplings. our authentic thupka and momos craving took us here. we have ordered darjeeling chicken momos, veg momos, veg thupka and chicken thupka. the food portion was very good and the taste was delicious. i want to rate this place 4.5 but there is no option so giving 4 star. khanin das

what a pleasant surprise this spot turned out to be! on a busy street hidden behind some trees, this place welcomes you with a tibetan flag. a sweet note on the entry to remove your footwear. that's a first! and rightfully so!
the portions served are generous. the aromas and the taste of everything the table ordered was so so so fresh and good! the veg noodle salad, the veg thupka were filled with flavors.
my friends called for pork dumplings, pho chicken and the pork chop are one of the best they've had! juicy and flavorful.
cozy and a feeling of the mountains holed in a building on a busy street in pune. unexpected! pleasantly surprised!

this cozy place has such an amazing atmosphere around! the service is really good they also guide you if you are first timer. we tried chicken thukpa which was decently spiced and flavorsome, a must try for sure. in dessert, we had the chocolate tart which was rich and chocolaty but not too sweet. overall it was a great experience and we will surely visit again!

tibetan food has elements of indian and chinese cuisine but also some significant differences. and yeti and the monk brings that authentic taste on your table. it's currently the 'go to place' for good tibetan and vietnamese food.

my hunt for good thukpa, took us to this cosy place. the menu is about 20 items long, and the momos are the clear standouts. the chicken momos are always a good choice, but the ones stuffed with pork are even better. we reached there a little late and couldn't taste them though. the thukpa was simply superb! with the right amount of vegetables, meat and noodles it's one of the best i've tried in pune. it's healthy, it's nutritious and it's tasty.

sourav and his team are here to change the food scene of pune am sure!

"winters are here" - the foodie keeda is triple active and growling gannets like me are tempted to visit thier food shrines. one such gourmet temple is #yetiandmonk
a hidden jewel at aundh that needs to be appraised. a small cosy lil place at ambedker chowk serves some soul -satisfying vietnamese/tibetian cusine. thier food is simple neat and absolutely divine. i've been here many times to relish thier distinctive menu and have been amazed with thier different style of food everytime.

my all time favs here -

#pork_dumplings that can be declared the best in pune. ultra thin dumpling on the outside with warm soft minced pork inside that has a smoky flavour. #nirwana emm ..try this to realise wat i'am saying. very light, nonspicy and filling at the same time.

#spicy_chicken_thupka - have a bad cold?? want an immediate relief. go gulp down this soothing flavorfull herby soupy thupka. their thupkas and pho come in large quantities. a big wholesome bowl of goodness high on nutritional value too.its loaded with shredded chicken, mushrooms and boiled eggs. mostly sufficient for two people but i enjoy the entire bowl all by myself guilt-free.
#veg options available too

ema datshi - i was so amazed at the name at first that i wanted to try it. this is a national dish of bhutan, worth a try jst for that. it's a combination of cheese and chilles in a aromatic yellow thick gravy. a different flavor all together that makes this dish so electrifying.

pork chops with rice - this is such a exotic delicasy. rich-dark-sweet-sticky-thick gravy with 2-3 loathy pork chops. a beauty to the eyes and delight to the taste buds. samcked this down in minutes. #truelove in its real form it is. this dish is available only on weekends and one must prefereblly call up the restaurant to check on availability. #selectively_available.

vietnamese coffee - strong coffee only for the bravehearts - strickly for adults.instant love in the first sip. a must try. (no pic sorry)

almost everyone reading this must give this place a visit to try south asian cusine, but only if you have good patience to wait for good food. the place is run by saurab who is alone in the eatery along with the chef. he tries to run thru and fo to serve at his best but there are times you might need to wait a good 15-20 mins for your order and i promise you the wait is worth it.

we ordered darjeeling chicken dimsum, spicy chicken thukpa and their special gurash cooler.

let me start with dimsum's. the best dimsum's you can find in almost all cities in india. they a so delicate, juicy (litterally) and flavourful. oh my god. almost umami. dumplings are served with spicy sauce. best accompaniment with those dumplings from heaven.
#highlyrecommended

chicken thukpa: a big bowl of vegetable broth with egg slices and tender juicy chicken. the moment you take first bite, you will be able to taste everything in that bowl. so clean and unadulterated taste. perfect amount of spice and salt. feels healthy and heavenly as you gulp those soft noodles and broth. comfort food

here's one to authenticity and #jfa couldn't have asked for more from yeti and the monk !
a perfect cosy spot to enjoy traditional tibetan, bhutanese & south east asian cuisine 🇧🇹🍽️.
1/7 - chicken pho
this was subtle yet refreshing with a little zest. perfect for a rainy day 🌧️.
3/7 - darjeeling chicken dumplings
these were by far the best dumplings we've ever come across in #pune. absolutely juicy and flavorful.
4/7 - chicken datshi
a traditional butanese dish which is gloriously cheesy served with rice and a salad.
5/7 - spicy thukpa chicken
this dish was as mouthwatering as it looks ! it achieved the perfect balance of spices &flavour.
6/7- dan dan noodles with pork
an absolute must have, served with minced pork on a bed of crispy noodles 🍜
7/7- vietnamese coffee .
