ol' yellow. i drove by this place earlier in the day on my way for 1 of my 2 stops on this trip to orlando. so i checked it out on urbanspoon, it sounded like the right place to eat dinner, to the most part anyway. i prepped myself by giving the reviews a once over and visiting their website for the menu. thought i was prepared, so off i went. parking lot was crowded and thought the "old house" was a nice touch. i was starting to feel it. the menu seemed a little exotic, was yde intent, mostly a bbq pork theme and the like; the crowd was a lot younger and hip, i guess - sure hope this isn't how i was interpreted when i was their age. anyway i had to ask how this works: you order at the front counter, everyone was friendly but not very informative of the menu. you pay, get your drink, get your tools, wait for them to call your name, find a table and eat. just like home. i chose the buffalo soldier, not sure the relevance or the association but it was a chicken wrap. also tried the mac and cheese. it was ok, not even sure if it is worth writing about it but i see i have already written a half page on it. you would think there would be some decent places to eat, at a decent price that is just good, nothing else. it was fair at best, little over priced for what it was. nice atmosphere. i tried it, but sorry ol' yellow, don't think i'll be back. i'm sure you won't miss me anyway.
