my best friend and i ordered the following: pan-seared salmon, seafood pasta, cafe latte and cafe mocha. the pasta tasted okay, despite having that instant noodles taste, as well as the fact that if was too creamy. the salmon was burnt, but we were too hungry to complain and have it redone. in terms of value for money, everything was priced competitively.

i'd suggest you go here for the coffee and the ambience, but not the food.

just finished eating here at yellow bird cafe. overall, i feel the good here is good although i got a few bad points to consider here. anyways, here's my review (in numbered form):

1. location is great. it feels like you'll be eating at a restaurant with a great view of the taal volcano. if you need to wow your friends with a restaurant with a great location with a great interior and exterior, this would be a great place.
2. the nachos were great. i liked the tortilla chips and the ranch dressing. serving was great too, perfect for a group of 5-6 diners.
3. sinampalukang manok was the bomb. if you need a hearty "sabaw" pinoy dish, then this would be it.
4. the roast beef was nice too. soft, nice flavor with slivers of beef belly fat.
5. prawns were good too except that it was overcooked. :(
6. lemonade was amazing. tasted like the freshly squeezed lemonade from robinson's antipolo.

in all, i think this is a good restaurant to recommend to anyone. affordable food too!

nice place. the food is good but not so special. the place is very cozy and perfect for family get together. service was ok and the best thing for a place far from urban life, there's ample parking.

we're looking for a cafè to chill and chit chat and we saw this. such a nice place, friendly staffs and great food. good job guys! we'll definitely comeback.

this is a great breakfast or brunch place. it os very quaint and homey and just absolutely lovely. the food's great as well however i suggest that you order on the older menu rather than the new one because the new one has somewhat unsatisfactory dishes. but if you stick with the old menu, you'd be just fine. i also suggest that you'd try their milkshakes- they's also fantastic 👌🏼

visited this place for the first time yesterday (after planning to do so for weeks now). we came straight from my daughter's school hoping for a nice merienda.. 18 min drive vs 30 mins coming from where we live.

only one table was occupied and obviously parking was not an issue. there were 2 "customers" that came while we were there only to use the comfort room.

i ordered salmon salad, okoy, arrabiatta and the salted caramel drink. ordered french fries for my daughter.

the salmon salad did not look anything like the pictures i have seen. the portion was so.. so.. small and there is nothing special with the vinaigrette. it taste the same as the bottled ones that you can buy from the grocery. there were only 3 pieces of small thinly sliced salmon. this salad would have been okay had i not seen a picture of it that kinda up my expectation.

okoy was indeed crunchy but for 155php, i should not only be paying for the texture.

the arrabiata pasta was the most disappointing for me. the pasta was overcooked. found 2 or 3 pieces of shrimps and skin (near the tail) was so firmly attached to it. imagine a dehydrated shrimp, an indication that its no longer fresh. found a one small scallop (imagine size of a squid ball, slice that into 4, that was what on my pasta).

the salted caramel drink was okay. i would have liked it to be stronget. say a shot or two of espresso, that would have been perfect.

the french fries was soft and crunchy which even i liked. to further improve, try to drain very well the oil before serving.

i was planning to try the mango cake but to tell you honestly, after my disappointment with what i tried, i opted not to anymore.

the non-laminated a4 bond paper for a menu that was obviously handled too many times, i was hesitant to touch it.

service was alright.

will i come back.. probably i will give this place another chance and try the rice meals and yeah.. the cake. if it is the same food experience for me then at least i gave it another chance.

almost 2hrs drive from qc *plus the traffic* but it's all worth it! the place was very nice, every angle is ig worthy! very accommodating staffs and great food! definitely gonna go back here!

a very cozy place tho i was expecting for an overlooking since it's located in antipolo. it was still a great experience nonetheless.

i've tried very few meals out of their large menu:
1. i love chicken wings and i must say their version is a must try! ❤
2. seafood pasta is so-so, i've eaten better seafood pasta in other resto. 🤔
3. pistachio cake is also a must try. it's really delicious though the cake is kind of dry, the frosting saved the taste. 🍰

my bf and i went here last may 4th and we've been wanting to go back since then. i feel that the cafe has a lot in store and we want to try more meals in their menu. 🤗

lagi kami dito for dinner nung mga march to april. i love their chicken pesto, chocolate dome cake, red velvet cake and lychee pasionfruit tea. kudos to their staff theo!! ♥ always alert and greeting us with a warm smile. but now, parang nag iba na nila. overcook na yung pasta with too much garlic and same goes with their other dishes. hindi ganun ka sarap kagaya ng dati. pati yung cakes nila, di na ganun ka sarap unlike before.

very accommodating staff, great coffee (we had a latte) that was not too sweet and had the perfect aroma to start the morning, chill ambiance :)

a perfect rating for yellowbird for having a versatile restaurant and cafe!

right from when we entered yellowbird up to the moment our food was served, i knew right then that our trip to antipolo wouldn't be complete without trying this restaurant. i knew we made the right choice to dine here because first things first; the interiors and the set up are so artsy and yellowbird are full of crafts which makes you photograph every corner.

and second, not only this yellowbird is an instagram worthy restaurant and cafe, but their food are worth every cent! i couldn't help myself to slowdown from eating since every bite is mouthwatering. and not to mention, the presentation is appetizing. yes, even their meals are instagram worthy too.

lastly, i would like to admire the staffs for being so accomodating to our needs and requests and for smiling at us all throughout our stay. it made us enjoy our stay and food even more.

[1] pasta is good.
[2] service is slow.
[3] they keep on giving the food to the wrong person in the table. my pasta was placed on the area on one of the kid's we were with.
[4] they served the tutong part for the rice.
[5] we ordered a pork squid adobo: the squid is tensile, doesn't seem fresh, and tastes like it came from a 'de lata'

we were very very disappointed.

no one's perfect so i rate this 4.5. the highest possible for me. i love the steak and chicken. should expand soon. the place is very nice and i love it.

we ordered beef pork mechado and fried lumpia. two pieces/cubes of the mechado were very tough, so i asked for table knives, nevetheless, they were unchewable. flavor of the mechado was nice, but i think it is overpriced for its serving size. the fried lumpia was great, it's a must try. we also ordered pistachio cake, it was overchilled. the texture of the cake should have been fluffy, but it was already bread-like texture.
ambience was great, they have perfect interior and lighting for beautiful photos.
