service and costumer care is just horrible!! closing time is at 11 pm on weekends and 2 times i went there on friday at 10:18pm and saturday 10:20pm the restaurant was open but they said we don't have anything to serve!!!! so the questions is why the restaurant is stay open until 11pm when they don't have enough raw material to cook and serve to customers??!!!
and for the 3rd time i went there was on saturday night at 10:15pm they said we don't serve at restaurant and it's just for taking out!!! "45 minutes before closing time" !!!
however we ordered $40 chicken and fries for take out and after pay for the order we asked for hot sauce on the side and the waiter said there is a $1 charge for a little bit hot sauce if you want to take it on the side!!!
chicken quality was below average and after all i figured out the management and people who are working at thisplaceare super unprofessional and extremely low level in dealing with customers!!!

went to thisplaceon 2 consecutive nights on weekend (friday night and sat night) both night someone reached and said we are outta chicken!
so annoying...

ordered from thisplaceon skipthedishes. the bulgogi seasoned fries were really tasty, and the chicken was delicious: we ordered half plain and half sweet. all in all it was a bit expensive for the amount of food we got, but still quite delicious.

in terms of fried chicken, thisplaceis so good. chicken is juicy. fries are coated and seasoned wonderfully. the seasoning is a bit sweet in a really good way.

best french fries in the city hands down!!!! for $12 i got the boneless chicken meal that came with fries a salad and a pop. the chicken is juicy and the skin is crunchy and not as greasy as other restaurants. amazing deal. i'm definitely going to come back and try other items and get the fries too!!!!

came here today 07.18.17 and got takeout. once again the fries and chicken were amazing!!!!
i don't even eat a whole lot of fried chicken or fries but thisplaceis definitely my go-toplacewhen i want to have chicken

good chicken...but not worth dealing with the lack of training in their servers. this used to be a favourite kfc (korean fried chicken)placeof ours, but now that there are so many other options in calgary, wow chicken will have to work harder to attract and keep their customers. running out of chicken and turning away customers an hour before closing is unacceptable. it made me wonder if they just closed the kitchen early and couldn't be bothered to start it up again for us. not good either way.

this is my favoriteplacefor korean fried chicken.  not only is the chicken really good, but the venue is very inviting and well decorated.  my only issue is the beer, 27 for a pitcher is pretty steep.

if you love korean chicken, definitely give thisplacea try! the decor is lovely, price is reasonable and the portion of food you get is more than what you pay for. i'd definitely come back again.

love the atmosphere and decor! theplacewas very clean and cute! the bulgogi fries are amazing but could get dry, so you definitely need a drink! i had the boneless chicken which had tons of meat! very moist as well! but the original recipe was a bit bland so i'm definitely going to come back another day and try some of the sauced recipes! :)

this is a badplaceto eat if you are really hungry. their fried chicken are good compared to kfc but way too over priced for what they are.

thisplaceonly serves chicken! so don't expect anything out of that kitchen. if you are a chicken lover then this is theplacefor you. the chicken is good here. well if the chicken wasn't then it wouldn't be called wow chicken. the servers are helpful, great and friendly. the decor looks very modern and spacious.

wow! is all i can say. this is the best *bad-for-you-but-i-don't-care* fried chicken restaurant i've ever been to. so far, on different visits, i've had the wings, the breast and the chicken fingers ... and all have been out of this world. the batter is highly unusual, and awesome. it's very crunchy, very tasty and not at all greasy (as you would expect from fried chicken). and it's real chicken! it's not some formed chicken meal; it's the real awesome thing. and the fries! i love the bulgoki fries. best i've ever had. and portions are surprisingly large. this korean alternative wins the day over anything else i've ever tasted. ever.the décor is also quite nice. it's not the usual sterile environment you find in other fast-food places. thisplaceis meant to enjoy. the design is nice, it's clean, it's colorful, music is great, service is excellent (they'll bring it to your table), and everything is served up just perfect. couldn't be a better addition to kensington.i have to resist going here too often, 'cuz it's just that good!

i gotta say korean fried chicken is wayy better than kentucky fried chicken lol
i have tried yum yum chicken and wow. i recently went to wow chicken and theplaceis alot different than yum yum. i went the yum yum in airdrie which is more simple and fast food style. wow chicken was very modern inside with tv playing korean music. both times we had to wait for a spot but it wasn't long.
we ordered 3 different flavours of chicken and tried the wing, breast and thigh.
really tasty. i enjoyed the chicken alot, but got full pretty fast.
will come back here when i crave fried chicken.

definitely the bestplacefor korean fried chicken in calgary. it's atmosphere is warm and cute, they have a big t.v and play kpop which adds to its authentic korean ambience. their chicken is the crispiest, and least greasiest chicken you can find at the same time. the price is reasonable and the service was fairly good. thisplaceis a great idea for hanging out with a few friends for beer + chicken,  or just going on dates.

i'd previously been skeptical about the raving reviews about korean fried chicken (how good can fried chicken possibly be, right?), so i was very pleasantly surprised with good batter and delicious, tender meat.

wow chicken has a nice atmosphere (they play kpop on a large screen in-store, haha) with ambient lighting and comfortable seating. the prices are decent, and the food is well seasoned, with lots of seasoning varieties to try. on top of having good quantity, the size of each piece of chicken was actually quite a bit larger than i'd expected, which is a definite plus.

this is my favouriteplaceto eat in large groups with, as we order a lot of chicken, but the bill divides into a very reasonable ($10~20) price.
