good chicken...but not worth dealing with the lack of training in their servers. this used to be a favourite kfc (korean fried chicken) place of ours, but now that there are so many other options in calgary, wow chicken will have to work harder to attract and keep their customers. running out of chicken and turning away customers an hour before closing is unacceptable. it made me wonder if they just closed the kitchen early and couldn't be bothered to start it up again for us. not good either way.

tried wow at kensington for the first time for a take-out. the chicken was well made/fried and finger-licking good. thought the soy garlic sauce went well with the chicken, although the spicy sauce wasn't bad either. definitely different from kfc (i like kfc too) and worth checking out.

i was across the street at the running room and i noticed the restaurant. the chicken was excellent. the salad was fresh. french fries was good. fast service. reasonable prices for this part of town.

the chicken and fries are amazing. the chicken is nice and crispy, with just enough seasoning for my liking. the fries are breaded and taste great. the guy who served me (in chinatown) was also very friendly. the pricing is fairly reasonable, but on the high side, that being said... for the food we get, i'd say it's worth it.

my friend and i went to wow at 2:00 on 8/30. food was ok. but server was soooooo rude!!!! really unfriendly! when i ordered the food, his attitude was so rude and looks like that he did not want to answer our questions. he went outside to smoke very often. and there's no other servers that we could not get the bill. ( i saw that other customers looked for server as well) finally, he came back and gave us the bill, but he asked us" how much tips you wanna give me?"............ i couldn't believe that he asked us like that!! why he thought that he deserved to get tips? it seems he did not get enough training. i will not go back.

this is my favorite place for korean fried chicken.  not only is the chicken really good, but the venue is very inviting and well decorated.  my only issue is the beer, 27 for a pitcher is pretty steep.

i love fried chicken. wow chicken was good but not great missing the mark for me. the breading was crispy and excellent fried but, (and this could be my own fault) it was very plain. we decided to have the classic which had almost no seasoning in the breading. we tried some of the sweet sauce to dip our chicken in and it was way better but still had something missing. the restaurant was clean and spacious for eating in and the staff were friendly. i would feel comfortable bringing my toddler in to eat as well!

food is ok , not many selections, only deep fry chicken and deep fry chicken . also over price.. and service sucks. i don't think we will back again and won't recommend anyone to try.... sorry..

great chicken. thighs are boneless. delicious. sweet sauce and soy are great. highly recommend. great air conditioning inside. cold drinks.

it is best chicken restaurant in my life ever!!!!!! if you like korean food or international food just go there and try!!!  look at the name..... it is wow ... that is true. i cant believe it is in calgary... so good amazing awesome restaurant! !

it's in the name.  wow.   very tasty.  crispy.  i won't say how may pieces i ate by myself but i wanted more.  the sauces they served with were delicious.  the service was a little awkward, maybe more of a language barrier thing, but overall a good experience.

if you love korean chicken, definitely give this place a try! the decor is lovely, price is reasonable and the portion of food you get is more than what you pay for. i'd definitely come back again.

i was extremely impressed with this place. the chicken was cooked perfectly. the batter perfectly crispy. even the fries were out of this world.
if you're craving some fried chicken and beer this is the spot.

waited at the take out window for a few minutes but no one paid any attention to me so i left.

wasn't very busy so not sure what the issue was. menu items looked very pricey.

love the atmosphere and decor! the place was very clean and cute! the bulgogi fries are amazing but could get dry, so you definitely need a drink! i had the boneless chicken which had tons of meat! very moist as well! but the original recipe was a bit bland so i'm definitely going to come back another day and try some of the sauced recipes! :)
