wok n roll

what an utter disappointment. we have been plenty atimeand have always had a good experience. since last year september things started to go in a downward spiral. the service has become so horrible that you cannot even rate it, it is non existent. we went for the buffet option around 2 months ago, my wife and one of our friends ordered the waffle and ice cream dessert. on arrival they both noticed that the ice cream was sour. the manager apologized and removed the ice cream. this was coupled with extremely poor service from our waiter. tonight 03/01/2022 we took friends there for the firsttimegiving them the benefit of the doubt and hoping that things have improved. we were a table of 8 people. once again we were met with absolutely poor service. there were no sushi in sight on the conveyer belt and we had to wait 1h15 for our first plate of sushi. the manager then informed me that there was only one chef on duty and that he himself was also making sushi trying to get the orders out. eventually some of our sushi came. i had ordered the tuna nigiri. upon arrival it seemed like the fish had been frozen before, it looked strange. i took a bite and immediately tasted the texture was off and it had a sour taste to it. i spat it out and smelled the next piece. to my disgust the fish was extremely rotten. i called the manager once again and politely asked him to smell the sushi. he pulled his face and agreed that it was off. he removed the plate without saying a word and never returned. he did not even apologize for the service that we had experienced. never ever will i set foot in any of wok n roll's branches.

have amazingtimewith friends here the food were very delicious have a lot of new special dishes worth to visit. i will come back again....

wok 'n roll -a must try!! we had sushi  as a starter - that was amazing.(dragon roll) .
who would ever think ,adding crispy onions to sushi .

main course we had green prawn curry with fried noodles.the first bite is an explotion of flavours in your mouth.

looking at the menu ,your mouth will water. there is so many things to chose from .different styles of food and things out of the odenary.
if you want to eat something different and try something new then this is a must.

one let down of this place is the waiters and the service.
we waited about 10 minutes for a menu, and to order drinks .
my coffee i ordered got there cold ,who knows how long it has been standing there.
we asked our waiter 5 times for wet wipes without him bringing it at the end.

there is not enough waiters and because it is a new place it is very busy.
a waiter can not take tables if he can not handle them.the owner and manager should defenitly look into this.

this place has potential and should use it not lose it.
will defnitely go there again hoping to get better service thistime.

i went to this resturant for my birthday and was not disappointed at the food. however the waiter wasn't very helpful in suggesting what i should try as it was my firsttimehere and the service was abit slow but not bad...

i tried the natsu platter...it wasn't to my liking as there is alot of seared fish but i'm sure anyone who enjoys seared salmon would enjoy this platter.

i did enjoy the bamboo tempura prawn, crab tempura maki and crabby roll sushi.

i also tried the asian fries and korean fried chicken wings which were absolutely delicious!
i had the bao prawn tempura which i really enjoyed too. and i tried warm saki for the firsttimeand it hits quite hard!

the portion sizes are quite big and i was so stuffed i didn't even have a main dish or dessert but will definitely be back to try more of the diverse and interesting menu!

not great at all! service very, very slow.  the sushi wheel was most of thetimeempty. called the manager and he spoke to the chefs. 45 min later still very little sushi on the wheel. ordered 2 portions of sushi. this took 30 min. there were perhaps not more than 8 people in the restaurant. as for the taste of the sushi: nothing special.

this is my secondtimevisiting wok n roll and both times have been a great experience. we tried the champion platter and the ramen the firsttimeand both were very good. the broth for the ramen is less salty than many restaurants, which is a big plus. the secondtimei tried the pot stickers and tom yum soup. the soup was pretty average, but the pot stickers were super yummy! love the fillings of shitake mushrooms. what surprised us the most was the mango sago. it was such a refreshing dessert. will definitely go back!

our firsttimeat this new restaurant. great experience, nice atmosphere and great food!
we enjoyed the duck red curry and the wok beef, both really nice and tasty. only the curry was a bit difficult to eat with a fork. we had to ask for a spoon😉.
we finished with the special with nutella and strawberry, delicious!
service was good, not great.

my secondtimehere. had to come back. ambience and food are amazing. will come back again and again. friendly effectient staff. a must for everyone who enjoys great food
