amazing food in a great setting! located in a busy spot, but has a warm and friendly atmosphere that is rate in a mall restaurant. sushi and wok dishes are both amazing!

impressive menu and friendly service. restuarant was busy with inviting ambience, indicating a popular choice.
food is well presented and some interesting choices available on the menu.
the salmon carpaccio is a must try for all those sushi lovers!
will definitely return for some of those dim sum specials.
as for the sushi, the rice needs a little improvement and then will be worthy of a 5 star.

highly recommended! although we had to wait for a table, it was most definitely worth it. the food is great, the staff friendly and the vibe is exactly what i wanted it to be.

what an utter disappointment. we have been plenty a time and have always had a good experience. since last year september things started to go in a downward spiral. the service has become so horrible that you cannot even rate it, it is non existent. we went for the buffet option around 2 months ago, my wife and one of our friends ordered the waffle and ice cream dessert. on arrival they both noticed that the ice cream was sour. the manager apologized and removed the ice cream. this was coupled with extremely poor service from our waiter. tonight 03/01/2022 we took friends there for the first time giving them the benefit of the doubt and hoping that things have improved. we were a table of 8 people. once again we were met with absolutely poor service. there were no sushi in sight on the conveyer belt and we had to wait 1h15 for our first plate of sushi. the manager then informed me that there was only one chef on duty and that he himself was also making sushi trying to get the orders out. eventually some of our sushi came. i had ordered the tuna nigiri. upon arrival it seemed like the fish had been frozen before, it looked strange. i took a bite and immediately tasted the texture was off and it had a sour taste to it. i spat it out and smelled the next piece. to my disgust the fish was extremely rotten. i called the manager once again and politely asked him to smell the sushi. he pulled his face and agreed that it was off. he removed the plate without saying a word and never returned. he did not even apologize for the service that we had experienced. never ever will i set foot in any of wok n roll's branches.

wok ‘n roll has to be one of my absolute favorite restaurants! every single plate of food i’ve had has been so scrumptious! i recommend the dragon roll sushi, crispy korean chicken wings, the pot stickers and of course the crispy chicken bao bun 😍. and not to forget the life changing deep fried ice cream - a must try! the waiters are also great, very attentive. the food doesn’t take too long to prepare, and if you’ve ordered a couple of items they bring them out as they are ready. will most definitely be going back multiple times - looking forward to trying their japanese katsu curry 🍛. ambience really nice as well, pretty cool and simple decor 👌🏽

always enjoy going to wok & roll .... when i’m in the mood for sushi, dragon rolls or boa buns. the wine menu is great and always something to satisfy ... so is the food menu and it’s always absolutely tasty. the staff are friendly, very efficient and informed. another plus is that there will always be a table available for walk-in and one does not have to make a reservation.

having walked past this restaurant often, we finally decided to give it a try.

the designer sushi is great but a little pricey. rather go whilst a special is being run (usually a monday)

the peking duck is recommended.

pretentious and very expensive. sushi did not taste fresh. poor service. most sushi is tempura prawn, not a lot of salmon options.

impressive styling and atmosphere.
it was very kind of them providing us with a welcome snack.
had a seat at the sushi bar and enjoyed the sushi very much.
ordered teriyaki duck and waited more than 30 minutes.
must admit i really did not enjoy the teriyaki duck at all and would not recommend it.

so we decided to try wok n roll and what a wonderful choice. the service was prompt and friendly. the sushi was fresh and tasty. i liked the tempura prawns but they were a bit big for me to finish both. we received one of our plates with a magical theatrical show dry ice on the plate..which made it so fun. the springrolls are amazing, we had the chicken, mayo and mozzeralla and loved every bite as its filled with only the chicken and mozzarella and no veg stuff...love it. we will definitly be back. i would say they are a bit pricey here and there, but you definitely get the quality you pay for. tha ks for a great evening wok n roll.

on recommendation, we decided to visit wok n roll for some sushi. when we got there, we requested to sit at the “sushi train” where we can sit and pick. there are different colour coded plates (cheapest to the pink expensive ones). please note, sashimi is not included on the train. the taste was ok (the ones that i chose).

3 is a bit harsh.... its pretty good.

the bao was really good. a bao amd a nibble is a meal here.
the wings were crispy and nom but not spicy.
we had ramen, all 3 of them. all were good, not excellent, not top tier, bu better than most in the gauteng.

great food. great service. great atmosphere. addicted to the asian fries 🤤 which they gladly substituted with chicken for me🙏🏽 dragon rolls were really yummy, fresh ingredients. the crispy chicken had a lovely spicy, sweet flavor to it. portions are quite big, prices are a little steep but worth it!👌🏽
