wok ‘n roll has to be one of my absolute favorite restaurants! every single plate of food i’ve had has been so scrumptious! i recommend the dragon roll sushi, crispy korean chicken wings, the pot stickers and of course the crispy chicken bao bun 😍. and not to forget the life changing deep fried ice cream - a must try! the waiters are also great, very attentive. the food doesn’t take too long to prepare, and if you’ve ordered a couple of items they bring them out as they are ready. will most definitely be going back multiple times - looking forward to trying their japanese katsucurry🍛. ambience really nice as well, pretty cool and simple decor 👌🏽

wok 'n roll -a must try!! we had sushi  as a starter - that was amazing.(dragon roll) .
who would ever think ,adding crispy onions to sushi .

main course we had green prawncurrywith fried noodles.the first bite is an explotion of flavours in your mouth.

looking at the menu ,your mouth will water. there is so many things to chose from .different styles of food and things out of the odenary.
if you want to eat something different and try something new then this is a must.

one let down of this place is the waiters and the service.
we waited about 10 minutes for a menu, and to order drinks .
my coffee i ordered got there cold ,who knows how long it has been standing there.
we asked our waiter 5 times for wet wipes without him bringing it at the end.

there is not enough waiters and because it is a new place it is very busy.
a waiter can not take tables if he can not handle them.the owner and manager should defenitly look into this.

this place has potential and should use it not lose it.
will defnitely go there again hoping to get better service this time .

our first time at this new restaurant. great experience, nice atmosphere and great food!
we enjoyed the duck redcurryand the wok beef, both really nice and tasty. only thecurrywas a bit difficult to eat with a fork. we had to ask for a spoon😉.
we finished with the special with nutella and strawberry, delicious!
service was good, not great.

i am absolutely in love with this place! the decor is stunning, contemporary and welcoming. the food is seriously to die for. the service is also really good, making this a gem. pretoria has been in desperate need of a good asian restaurant and has finally produced one.

i had the most divine chicken katsu curry, with potatoes that melt in your mouth, smothered in a perfectly balancedcurrysauce. we also ordered the ramen. it was fantastic, the bone beef broth really packed such a punch and completely elevated a simple dish. we had the char sui baos too- this is a must-order! so sweet and soft and salty and fluffy, it's a complete treat.

i would definitely recommend this stunning place! i'd just suggest sharing a main dish and ordering some dim sum with it, the portion sizes are gargantuan!

welcome wok n roll! pretoria east is in desperate need of a good asian restaurant. the decor is understated, but with a warm ambience.
unfortunately our initial welcome left a lot to be desired with a host basically telling us to sit and wait at one of the about 10 empty tables instead of reserving a table for literally 30 minutes later...a request they refused to accommodate, obviously after our 30 min wait for the final member of our party there were still about 5 or 6 empty tables, since it was early evening.
moving on to the food...
we had the teriyaki duck (duck over cooked) taste on par. chicken mayo mozzarella springrolls were well received, the star of the starter round was the bao!!
crispy chicken and prawn tempura bao absolutely delectable.
mains: the ramen noodles was good, but nothing spectacular, a little bland. the salmon bowl a bit of a let down according to my friend. the thai red prawncurrywas lovely, could’ve done with a bit more prawns, but beautifully balanced. the chicken teriyaki was delicious,
we ended the meal by sharing deep fried ice-cream....well done on the ice-cream still intact, but the crust was what seems soggy crushed corn flakes with a shop bought chocolate syrup...

all in all, judged on the food, we’ll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu...wok n roll is on the right track, we wish you all of the best with this new venture.
