winnies gourmet pizza bar

we had our new years eve meal here which was pizza,salad amongst other .the pizza was delicious and was quite large .the toppings were tasty and piping hot .later that night they cleared it and it become a club which was packed to the brim

great time at winnies ! awesome pizza and drinks 🙂 and great server ziah ! peaky blinders fan 😝 will be back next time for sure 👌🏾

great place to take the family. great ambience and cool opening skylights. food was good, house beer jugs were cheap

the pizzas are really yum, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. the location is good and atmosphere and service are friendly. definitely recommend.
personally impressed by the vegetarian zulchi pizza.

came here with my parents twice in two days and enjoyed their vegetarian pizza options. their pizzas are more american style than italian. loved their garlic bread as well. staff are super nice and the customer service is great.

first time visiting winnies again in 4 years ! 3 stars because i feel the food quality has gone down hill - the staff customer service however is still a1. please put the focus back on high quality pizzas to retain your awesome reputation

came here tonight with my wife for dinner.

ordered the hot wings with the blue cheese dip. we got this as an entree and weren't given any side plates. we were stuck with sticky napkins until i had to ask a young lady for side plates. she happily ran and got them, however perhaps a finger bowl and extra napkins would have gone a long way (this is not the reason for a moderate rating as she was very friendly and perhaps hasn't been trained in that area). the wings as a whole were good; they are more nibbles than wings, but they tasted good. the dip was pretty spot on as well. no complains on the dish.

the pizza - they allow you to do a 50/50 on the large pizza so we ordered a tandoori chicken and luigi's italian. the luigi's pizza was great. however, little dissapointed with the tandoori as you would expect it to out weight luigi's pizza in terms of spices. the chicken was not "tandoori chicken", it was far from even being marinated.

this place was highly recommend to us by family and friends so we did have high hopes. that being said, i would probably still come back due to the vibe here. and the friendly staff!

excellent pizza place with great staff and ambiance. we tried the americano, tri factor and pescara and they were all good. our family had a great dining experience.

pizza was delicious and atmosphere was great. although, waiter kept forgetting about us. luckily, pizzas and chicken wings were absolute hits.

they offer some of the most delicious pizzas i have ever tried. they a very nice and friendly environment, with good music. i would definitely recommend this restaurant in queenstown.

my friend and i ordered a medium size montanara pizza and kiwi fries. there’s a size model on the wall that people can see before they order. medium size pizza feeds is pretty full. i really love the chicken on the pizza as it was really well flavoured. loved the sour cream also, suits the pizza well. kiwi fries was a bit salty tho
the restaurant was quite crowded and noisy, quite dim so not really good for phototaking.

winnies is just amazing. we’ve come here every time we are in queenstown since 2004. consistently wonderful pizza, sides, service, drinks and desserts. the arancini and mac and cheese bites sides and the garlic ciabatta also wonderful this time. died of food because we want d to try so many things. we went here 2 nights in a 5 night stay and very nearly came here a third time. love the roof opening too, and watching the kids play pool. only possible improvement would be hooks under the bar and on the walls for winter coats and handbags. but still want to give winnie’s a “6”.

lovely and friendly service. our first meal in queenstown when we landed on a wet cold winter morning.

having dropped or bags at the hotel we ventured out to find food in the rain and discover this quaint upstairs pizzeria. we were greeted warmly and given a seat pronto at around noon.

we had the house bread with garlic butter, fried buffalo wings and a medium pizza. bread came nice and warm but there was a bit of a wait between that and the mains. service was also getting slightly slower as it filled up with more lunch seekers.

buffalo wings was perfectly fried and dripped clear of oil. pizza was warm and nice although i do with the crust could be crispier.

with two soft drinks, our meal came to about $55, a reasonable price considering we are on the mall street right in the middle of town.

lovely and bright staff also made our first day in town very bright indeed.

i love winnie’s. it’s got a fantastic atmosphere and we sat out on the balcony which was toasty warm, despite it being 0degrees outside. fantastic food which is very delicious, but slightly overpriced, even for a great pizza.

slightly overpriced pizzas and food but they tasted very nice. you can get a big pizza with two different halves to share which was good so we could try different things. also had a yummy mushroom and blue cheese soup.
