we came here when this place first opened 4years ago and we hadn't beenbacksince because we were so disappointed but we believe in second chances and we were not disappointed in the least! the food was amazing, the menu has gone through a serious change. the service was amazing also. the portions are generous for the price and the quality was outstanding! we will be back.

order the mac and cheese and then run away quickly. ruined our anniversay dinner with some of the worst service and food i've ever had. my new york strip (normally a clean cut) was half fat and the rest connective tissue. the peppercorn sauce on top was tasteless (how do you do that to peppercorn?) and the mashed potatoes were sub par. all of this for only $32! she didn't like her chicken. it was chewy. our waiter took forever, chatted with other tables, drank from a wine glass he had cleared and offered me a to go box for my pile of chewed fat and tendon. there are much better restaurants in this price range. even the very good mac and cheese couldn't get mebackin here. stay away!

more like wine wouldn't. server was inexperienced but polite and did an acceptable job.
the blt salad was very weak and appeared to have been made with bacon bits and bagged salad. the strip steak is listed as being peppercorn and bleu cheese crusted and was presented to me with a ball of compound cheese/butter on top. the cut of meat was awful for the one bite i took before i sent it back. my wife had the tuna and it was even more abysmal. gray in color and it looked like a veggie burger patty. another friend had a spinach and mixed green salad with chicken and there was no chicken or spinach. this was the first time i've seen someone sendbacka salad.

overall i would have been upset with the offerings of this restaurant at a quarter of the prices they were asking.

this is my new favorite place to eat for a weekend or special occasion. it's a little expensive for a week night dinner, but well worth the price.

the only thing that topped the heavenly food was the service. amanda is great!! we will bebackregularly to try more of the menu.

bar service - room for improvement. wine selection - outstanding, food - outstanding, atmosphere - outstanding, service at the bar - very bad, not worth going back.
came in about 5:15 pm, about 7 or 8 customers at the bar. lady bartender was not busy but very difficult getting her attention to order a drink. about 5:40 wanted to order food again very difficult getting bartender's attention. when food came they set it down on the bar (nowhere near where i was). no silverware, no napkins, no follow up to see if we needed anything else. about 6:15 ordered second drink, very difficult for me and many others to get attention of bartender. about 7:30 wanted to pay bill. bill was brought promptly. waited 15 minutes bartender did not comebackto take my money. bartender was drinking a soda, chatting with co-workers, looking around and straightening things up, but not waiting on customers. took check to hostess stand and asked to speak to a manager. waited 10 minutes, hostess camebackand said the manager was busy and could not speak to me. finally a wait person came to the hostess stand, took my money and brought me my change. upon getting home i found i was overcharged on the bill and the wait person gave mebacktoo much change.
