wine dive

do me in once.... the wine guy was good as was the appetizer but thedinner(ahi tuna) was horrible! i tried two bites only because i wanted to give it a fair chance. when i told the server about the tuna, the service went to zilch and i was "onlly" charged half price for the tuna i couldn't eat. no one came to follow up regarding my complaint. i closed out my tab, left, and enjoyed a deliciousdinnerat il vicino's.

had mike's wine dive done the right thing i might have given them a second chance. instead, in exchange for the eight bucks they charged me for bad fish, they lost a customer for life. hope that eight dollars gets them through these tough times. with food and customer service like i received they'll be gone in a year.

my friend and i each ordered adinnerwere disappointed. mine was near inedible, tasting very bitter from lemon rind. our waitress wasn't 21 and knew nothing about wine. i wouldn't go back.

best for dinner. i've been here for brunch, lunch and dinner. of the three, thedinnermenu is the best and has the greatest options to choose from. it's worth your while to check it out on a nice evening and eatdinneron the patio.

mom treated jenni, brian and me out todinnerat mike’s wine dive last night for brian’s birthday. it was yummy! i had their famous mac and cheese. it’s got lobster, shrimp and crab meat and is absolutely delicious. i really wanted to eat the entire bowl even though it was more than i could manage. it doesn’t look like much, but is actually quite filling. brian had the cuban, but he said it wasn’t as good as the last time. mom had the grilled chicken pasta dish and jenni had a steak sandwich. everything looked delicious. even brian’s cuban, which he wasn’t all that impressed with this time around. what is it about restaurants? they are fantastic when they first open, but then the quality of the food starts to diminish over time. i didn’t even bother to take a picture of the chocolate bag this time because it was smaller than i remembered . actually, my phone ran out of battery. jenni took a picture of it, though. she’s supposed to send it to me, but i haven’t got it yet. the mac and ch

great food!. terrible service! i really enjoyed the food. the drunken bread appetizer was great. my steak sandwich was very tasty and satisfied me more than i thought it would. service was lackluster at best. ok, service sucked. the ladies at the table next to me didn't get theirdinnercleared for at least 30 minutes past when they were done eating. mydinnertook nearly as long to clear. it was a tuesday night and not busy. expect good food but expect a long night too since you will have to wait a long time for anything to happen.

went todinnerthis weekend at mikes wine dive and was definetely suprised with the place. our waiter was very good with his suggestions for wine and also for food. i had the prime rib and my wife had that lobster shrimp mac and cheese. the server was a very polite and accomodating young man. we will be back!
