tongue whoopin!. just about the best bbq andsmokedturkey i have ever had. they have a very, very good baked beans and slaw also.

best in springfield. i eat here at least a couple times a month. every meat on the menu issmokedto perfection. even thesmokedbologna is awesome. not to mention, the owners are as nice as they could be. the sides are phenomenal and the peanut butter pie is rediculous.

i looked at the building and saw the willie mae’s bbq sign. after a quick check on some review sites like urbanspoon and noticing almost all were 5 star i decided to turn around and give it a try. when you walk in the door you will notice that they used a hickory smoker, if you don’t smell it you will see it right behind the front counter. i opted for the brisket sandwich toped with coleslaw and with a side of mac and cheese the brisket was thick and juicy with a goodsmokedflavor and the mac and cheese was very cheesy i would definitely go back for more. i had a nice talk to one of the owners and she said the stage in the back corner was one of the few things left from the previous owners. 200 8th avenue east springfield tn 37172 map

gail and joe. how you get greatsmokedfood from a southern boy and a dang yankee is beyond me but they did just about the best you can do or eat ! go joe and gail and proud of y'all fir such yes i said fir all your hard work and dedication i know my brother cooks with his heart !! i love y'all your the best:)

i love their pulled pork sandwiches. bestsmokedtast i have had so far. and the owners don't just give great service, they establish a relationship with the clientelle.

love willie mae's!!. best pork plates, love theirsmokedturkey, brisket, potato salad, beans, corn bread... everything is great!

haven't tried anything that we didn't like!

friendly staff, great atmosphere.

you gotta try it, you will be back again and again!

the best brisket. i've been to willie mae's several time. each time is as good as the one before it, which is saying that the quality is always the best. the brisket is juicy, smokey, and tender. so is the turkey...a real breast of turkey, not the turkey parts garbage that some places try to pawn off assmokedturkey. the sides are also quality. great corn bread. especially good cheesy mac and cheese, wonderful red-cabbage slaw with a home made sauce second to none, fabulous green beans, i could go on and on. forsmokedbarbeque willie mae's is the best, maybe in the whole state.

this has got to be some of the best barbeque i've ever had! i can't wait to try thesmokedbologna next time i'm in town! in addition to great food, they're super friendly and have done a beautiful job on the interior. and it smells fantastic!
