tongue whoopin!. just about the bestbbqand smoked turkey i have ever had. they have a very, very good baked beans and slaw also.

i have been living here in robertson county, tenn for over 12yrs and have over the years have eaten some good bbq. but nothing like willie mae'sbbqword cant describe how good the food is, and how they are very generous with there portions/ i would recommend willie mae's to anyone wanting to try some good down home bbq, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming...

i am abbqsnob...what is the mecca for bbq, memphis: charlie vergos’,rendezvous and ,neely’s kc:  arthur-bryant's, and  gates. carolina's: lexington barbecue,  texas, franklin's bbq, well add another of some of the finestbbq in the country, really,willie mae's is the real thing.

i looked at the building and saw the willie mae’sbbqsign. after a quick check on some review sites like urbanspoon and noticing almost all were 5 star i decided to turn around and give it a try. when you walk in the door you will notice that they used a hickory smoker, if you don’t smell it you will see it right behind the front counter. i opted for the brisket sandwich toped with coleslaw and with a side of mac and cheese the brisket was thick and juicy with a good smoked flavor and the mac and cheese was very cheesy i would definitely go back for more. i had a nice talk to one of the owners and she said the stage in the back corner was one of the few things left from the previous owners. 200 8th avenue east springfield tn 37172 map

willie mae's i give praise!. i have to say i love this urban spoon app. i live in knoxville and come to nashville every week for work, i've eaten a lot ofbbqand i have to say i'll be back. brisket was out of site. menu is simple and portions were plenty. i will be back ever time i come to springfield. thanks again!

pure south. a recent visit to the area and i was looking for a good southernbbqplace --- willie maes was recommended. it was the best you can ask for. good food, excellent atmosphere and true southern hospitality from the people making it happen. if you want to have a treat that is symbolic of southern cooking and hospitality -- this is the place. it is definitely worth looking for at the top of the hill in springfield tn. will go back next time i am in that area. wow

my friend and i went to willie mae'sbbqand we were sooooo impressed!!!! the service was great and the good was awesome!!!!!! i got the rib plate and the ribs fell right off the bone!!!! we are roughly 2 hours away but we will be going there again soon!!!!!

best barbeque ever!. the second i walk in willie mae's it smells so good! thebbqis the best in our town! actually it is the best i have ever had! i love going there! they are so friendly and kind! always greeted when we come in the door!
it is just a great place to eat! i enjoy every minute i am there and every bite of all the delicious food
they serve!

awesome barbeque!. we just ate at willie mae's barbeque and that is the best barbeque we have eaten!
we loved it and will certainly be going back alot! the smell in the restauant is awesome.....it's that good old wood burning smell like being out in the country.
the bluegrass music that is playing is great! the owners
are the friendliest people! loved talking to them!

just the best!. theirbbqis off the charts. the best brisket anywhere! the ribs are great, and the sausage even better, but joe's take on brisket, could seriously win any national competition, hands down! unbelievably good!

excellent!. some of the bestbbqi've ever had. the brisket is off the charts delicious! and the staff is as friendly as can be. a "must stop", every time i'm in the area!
