overpriced and inedible. the food was okay, but we found the children’s menu severely flawed, and the pricing high. short version: the grown-ups mostly enjoyed the food, but the child's quesadilla had waaay too much pepper on it. the child couldn'teatit, and i, an adult who likes pepper said "wow, that's way too much!" if you're going to have a child's menu, then season it appropriately! further, we were offered a "child's lemon-aide" and got charged $2.75 for it. sorry, i don't care if you're in franklin, that's too much. i asked the server about it, and his response was "we get asked that a lot. the owner insists that we charge children the full drink price." and a child's meal is $8? i know that's a pittance to some people, but for a grilled cheese sandwich, that's ridiculous. finally, we were auto-gratuitied 20% when we ordered only 5 meals, including a child's. the service was good, and i would have tipped well, but 20% is a gratuitous gratuity, especially with the high prices and low quality mentioned above. we might have returned at some point without our children, but the overall experience turned us off of that. did i mention the stupid valet parking that makes no sense for a suburban restaurant? if you like over-paying for your food and having your children's food inedible and way over-charged, go for it, but otherwise, i will not be returning, and i recommend you do the same.

i heard about wild ginger from friends and coworkers, mainly because it's a very upscale sushi restaurant where a lot of local celebrities come through... celine dion, jason aldean, luke bryan, taylor swift, even the occasional rapper.

we started with an order of tokyo gyoza, pan-seared pork and vegetable dumplings. i don'teatmuch seafood, so these are my asian fusion standby! they were sooooo delicious, some of the best i've had. we also got an order of their bombay calamari. i don't usuallyeatcalamari, but when i tried these i was blown away. the batter tasted like a funnel cake, and the squid was better than i expected. the mango chili sauce that went with it was great too.

unique food and outstanding service. i have only had positive experiences when dining at wild ginger. i've planned several corporate events at wild ginger for groups from 20 people up to 60 and they've done an outstanding job of putting together unique fusion menus to appeal to anyone. i saw the another poster write about a seattle location...there's no connection between those 2 restaurants. the only downside is that their sushi is large and sometimes tricky toeatbut it tastes amazing! the service has always been top notch too! not something you often find in suburban cool springs.

the only place to go for sunday brunch!. i used to love wg for their 50% off classic sushi rolls. seriously...where else can you dine in a great atmosphere for brunch on sunday and get a great sushi roll for $4?? my daughter recently had a waffle...and it was all you caneatwaffles..with fresh yummy fruit...$10. yum. it is literally the only place ieaton sunday. the yoyo, c four and veggie sushi are great..my favorite is the wasabi crunch:)

very good happy hour. service has never been the restaurant's strength but the food is usually good, especially the classic maki. the edamame has a very spicy sambal basil chili sauce that not only will burn those those buds but also will require extra napkins as it is quite messy. we found that we couldn't tolerate the spiciness and finally gave up.

most of the salads are very tasty as well as a good option for those who don't like sushi or just want toeata little lighter. without a doubt the drinks are on the pricy side but do have generous pours. however, at happy hour yesterday i had 2 glasses of the house wine and my total bill was $7 and it was very good wine! the appetizers are also 1/2 off during happy hour.

great atmosphere and interesting food. we ate at wild ginger this saturday before we went to the jazz concert. the room is great with modern accents and great views. the circuses are amazing and worth a visit on their own. the food was very good. we had the calamari and some shanghai noodles. this is one place i really want toeatat again on my next visit to nashville.
update: we ate lunch here saturday and if anything it is even better than i mentioned above. a great restaurant and the best one i have eaten at in suburban nashville.
